Butterfly Wings Flapping -Big & Small

A quick demo of large and small butterfly wings flapping using new modular motor mounts and foam board. Demonstrates how mounts screw into logo inlaid boards. First time test of big butterfly.

I’m wondering if this can be done with pvc. I’m making so really large butterflies and the wings will be made of 1/8 mdf

I would think so. It's pretty scalable.

Yes....the motors can be smaller. The wings do not require that much torque.

I want to use this concept for a costume. I'm guessing the wings will weigh 3-5 lbs. I have no clue how big or rpm motor to get.
could you point me in the right direction?
I'm just looking for some random movement. TIA
