- Southeast News: Ibeto Seaport Finally Goes Operational!
Welcome back to Ebonyi People TV, where we celebrate and showcase the incredible achievements of Ndi Igbo-both here in the Southeast and across the world. Today’s update is no exception! This is exactly what we love doing here-bringing the good works of our people to the world.
Now, let’s rewind a little bit. A few months ago, there was a lot of buzz online about a new seaport being built. Naturally, people were wondering if it would be in the Southeast, but after some digging, we found out it was actually being developed in Rivers State, in the South-South region of Nigeria. And guess who’s behind this massive project? None other than Chief Dr. Cletus Madubugwu Ibeto-the mastermind behind the Ibeto Group.

This is awesome 👌 👏
this is a good start, thank you for the update,
Anambra of course
It is closer to us than Lagos,. We wish it will even be more affordable than Lagos,. Old Eastern Nigerians, we are gradually coming, we will be there sooner than unexpected.
Thanks
Welcome
❤ nice
It's a terminal at the rivers port in port Harcourt....if the vessel berths at onne ibeto would use his barge to move containers from onne to PH for onward clearance by the merchant 's agent.
Why must you use videos of Lekki deep sea port & Apapa sea port? Use only the Ibeto sea port so viewers can see the real port not mixing it with other sea port videos
Why in river state at beginning we thought it will be in Anambra, these wicked people one day will still claim it as they claim our fathers properties
Is that place not better than Lagos??? Una too de complain
About to or operational
The seaport supposed be in Anambra
Ibeto terminal in Onne Seaport
Let Fulani government no play their game in this one because they have the power to shut it down with no reason as they revoke the cement License. Dangote has his own seaport terminal at Calabar same as Inter Bau has its own gigantic terminal in Akwa-Ibom.
from Onne to Ibeto ,??? Not from China to Ibeto ??? I no understand
We are not south south we are south east coastal area
👍
As about your question whether it would be better the Seaport to be sighted in Anambra state, the answer is yes and no.
Yes because Portharcourt Onne Seaport has already being developed.
No because there's no developed Seaport yet in at Anambra state.
And moreover, Anambra state sea port can still be developed with time, and both side will still be working effectively.
That's what is called collective development of a country.
We must learn to be more civilized rather than always about tribe and region. The world is global village, and businesses trieves around the global market.
Which one is yes or no🤐!!! Why are you painting simple truth. Stop mincing word with the truth. Anambra seaport is just inland waterway, not deep seaport like Onne and Warri. Warri and Onne are within 180-190km to Anambra State business axis Onitsha, Nnewi, etc. Onne is about 64km to Aba. The problem is poor road and railway networks.
If Deep sea potentials of Calabar, Rivers and Warri are developed, it's more than enough to serve the whole south south, south east, north central and north east; even Cameroon will benefits massively. Unfortunately the kakistocrats and Kleptomanians in Aso Rock don't care.
