Very cool video! If everything falls into place, I will be flying YEG to Yellowknife RT on Canadian North to attempt to get on the Air Tindi Dash 7. The last time I flew on a combi was on an Alaska 737-400 and a long time ago, on an Alaska 737-200C.
2:00 "This is not sped up, btw" - that graphic in and of itself was definitely sped up. Less than 1/2 second (had to go back several times to read it). but I do Love the 737 Classics.
I hope you enjoyed your time in the city we Edmontonians like to call YEG. Combi's are rare in most developed countries. They are common in developing countries, especially African and South American countries. Most money is made on air freight. Air passenger seats are practically a loss leader for the airlines.
Glad to see true Canadian experiences like this still exist!
Yeah!
Great video Gabe, well done again
Thank you!
Great stuff as always 👌🏼🇨🇦
Thanks for watching!
Trying to get the image of all those boxes looking out of the windows staring back at the engines out my mind 💺📦👀🤣
😂

That sounds great! Air Tindi is lots of fun.

Great video, loved the music in this one! 😉
Glad you liked it!
Awesome video as always. Don’t know which Canadian North livery I like more. There both great. 😅
Thanks! I’m definitely partial to the polar bear one.

Thanks! Do you really call it YEG? That’s cool!
Why didn't you stay in Edmonton for awhile?
Wish I could have. Schedule just too packed!
Pretty rare to find a combi plane these days
Yeah it really is!
A "combi" is an interesting concept; I wonder how or if it affects the takeoff speed and fuel consumption vs. passengers only...RogerC 10/5/24
I guess it all depends how much the cargo in front weighs that day! Good question though. Next time I’m gonna ask!
Me and my homies strongly dislike the baggage policy on Canadian north
