I never thought I'd prefer this to new Pvris, but this is fucking awesome. Usually I'm the other way around, like to the point where I expect first albums to not be that great, even for bands I love. Just listened to this and The Heartless and they kick ass.

this version is very different from the acoustic version but I like both tbh I love her vocals in the acoustic version because she sounds like an angel but her vocals in here sound amazing and emotional they sound completely different but I really like both

The thing with the name is a legal issue more than just being because of using a different name, they're not legally allowed to redistribute the songs in the PVRIS EP or play them live, but for some reason I don't quite understand, the stripped versions from the acoustic EP are okay

It doesn't matter that they're essentially the same songs, it's the name that these songs were originally released under that has caused legal trouble, not the songs themselves
where did you find it? another youtuber had a lot of songs like this one and he or she deleted all of them and i want to listen to all of themm i simply love them
The band had to remove them from youtube and stuff..because of copyright issues...thats why they changed their name from Paris to Pvris...their was another band named Paris...so they decided to take down these brilliant songs...which totally sucks...but us true fans recorded and saved them and still post them to show their roots to newer fans

i'm gonna say something and y'all can crucify me for it, but i am kinda pissed at lynn for forcing the band into a more pop direction and then bitching and moaning forEVER about how her voice is a problem. here, she's raw and real and her voice is unedited and she sounds amazing. if pop is what fucked up her voice, then she's the only one to blame for that. she's a fucking incredible rock vocalist. mixing rock with pop in any way is what's ruining the music industry and musicians.
