PVRIS - Mind Over Matter (2012 version) [DEMO]
มุมมอง 98K9 ปีที่แล้ว
This version is not on the 2012 EP, it is slightly different as it is better mixed and has sample drums before the last chorus. The footage is from when they just formed, it was probably there second show as "Paris". Awesome how big they have become in such a short time. I DO NOT OWN THIS.
PVRIS - Waking Up (2012 version)
มุมมอง 177K9 ปีที่แล้ว
This is the version from the 2012 EP when they were called "Paris". I DO NOT OWN THIS.
I h8 u
I could listen to this song all day
I like those guitars they have good taste
PEAK THIS SONG IS ACTUALLY IN MY TOP 3 STG IT GOES SO HARD TO THIS DAY
🤍
FKKKKKKKKK YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS
THAAANKKKKKYYYYYYOOOOUUUUU
im like hearing avril on this the original rock version of this rlly rocks but i am so inlove with the acoustic. wish pvris have more sounds like this now.
I wish Pvris still made rock music
They need to bring these back
Sounds like moving mountains
CAN LYNN PLEASE RELEASE A REMASTERED VERSION OF THIS
The evolution of their sound is amazing, they got stuff for whatever genre you want or vibe you’re feeling. Lynn is truly talented
...and, then they found us and put us on the cover of Spin. ICP FOREVER
Omg, she sounds so young here 🥺 Can't believe they were making bangers like this at around age 18? And it's only gotten better over the years!
Fr, they’re very consistent imo. Many different sounds but it’s always good and always sounds like them
So much better than that trash they make now.
This is their best sound not that shit they do now.
People change, views change, Music evolves. It's called growth.
if they did this again haha
that is much better than the music they produce today.
Ppl change and so does music.
Love this but the acoustic is better.
😳😳
This is one of their best songs and it’s not even on an album
I really wish this EP existed on Spotify. All these tracks (although great stripped down) go so hard! This and Waking Up especially!
I love the Etto remix better
brian looks so young
I tried to kill myself two days ago and i listened to this song right before I realized i needed to call someone for help.
I love the acoustic EP but I will always prefer the original versions, this and like Gemini and the heartless are so freaking good
this goes freakin hard! I love PVRIS a lot but i wish they went down this path genre wise a bit more! So good!
This s**t is fire. Damn
god bless this song
this is awesome
yeah post-hardcore PVRIS was too good for this world
I'm still hoping they will release something like this in the future.. sigh
Maybe one day they’ll release a compilation of their old music... but we can only hope (´༎ຶོρ༎ຶོ`)🌀
Was singing this version randomly in my head, had to find it again
smol pvris
Post-hardcore PVRIS is something I really need in my life
Wish they released the version with screaming, it was so good
You were spoiled rotten and turned stale, like all your plans
I feel these limbs are growing cold to numb
Learning this on drums
SHE SOUNDS SO SMOLL!!
2:03 Everytime I hear this part I'm mindblown, so powerful
I remember when they played this for the first time at rockos our local show pub and we all knew the words already. We were all just kids that’s so weird. Place went nuts and I’m pretty sure it was their first show ever.
I may even be in this video I can’t tell if it’s me or not I was like 17 maybe younger
It's insane to think that this was them 8 years ago
As PVRIS yes but they had played their high school talent show that Brandon Davis from Lions Lions posted. It's still up if you're interested
@@user-ov5te2op1y operation Guillotine you mean? I saw them a few times back then. That’s where I knew them from before PVRIS
@@donniefights5668 They were pvris at that show but still had Kyle, but I remember OpG hahah they were actually dope
It would be awesome to hear the history of how the band, sounding so good here, pared down to 3 with a touring drummer.
Does anyone know where I can buy/download the demo?
The Paris EP was completely wiped off of any official platform they published their music on once they signed to Rise Records and made their debut album, White Noise. Luckily, all the songs are preserved on the internet including The Heartless’s music video - though Waking Up is the only song without a high quality version available anymore (it’s not clear if there was one in the first place). The Paris EP is probably never going to be published again since Lynn, for some completely unknown reason, hates to talk about that EP and deters or ignores any questions asked about it
Wow! Its been so long since I touched this channel, blimey, 100,000 views. I am gonna keep it as it is, and not doing anything to it, as it reminds me of simpler/innocent times of my life. I find the account pretty adorable, and I also want the old PVRIS to still be up for all to see. Hope everyone is safe during this pandemic of doom, and still rocking to PVRIS as I am. Take care!
Were you influenced by Paramore back then?
TYSM 4 UR CHANNEL
Why did I just find this today?? This shit is hard
God this band used to be good, white noise was great but their new releases suck ass, i wish they'd do this shit again, because they fuckin did it well
Genuinely think this could have been a massive hit on the pop punk/post-hardcore scene. Such a shame it never got a chance.
wow this is sooooo diffirent from the acoustic version
This my favorite Pvris, it’s so good, the energy is so big holy crap
woow I like this version
WTF they need to release this on spotify...
