My brother and I stoped at that very spot at the top of the dam back in 2000. We were on our way back to Michigan from Georgia. There was nothing at Deal's Gap except a lone white block building, that looked like motel. Now look at the place! We first rode the 469 miles on the BRP on our way to GA. What a week of riding that was . Thanks for the video.

I did that ride back in June I also rode Smokie Mountains National Park and the backroads of the Blue Ridge Mountains including Goshen pass and Skyline drive on my way to get home. (I live just outside of Washington DC) It was an epically beautiful week of riding. The best solo trip I've done besides riding from NJ to the Outer banks of NC. I like your Stratoliner! I ride two Yamahas, a 2007 Royal Star tour deluxe, which I took on the two trips I mentioned, and when I got back from the trip, I bought a used 2000 Yamaha Royal Star Venture with 9k miles on it. I'm taking the Venture to South Dakota or Texas next season.

      That's awesome!
Yes, I'm a huge fan of Yamaha and definitely the Stratoliner! Such a smooth riding comfortable bike with lots of hp.

@@cruisinrum3922 Its the same with the Royal Star line. In fact, they are powered with the motor from the Vmax but tuned different to give it big cruiser characteristics.
