Poor Ryu, his career got ended there. He couldn't get pass that event, he was remembered and greatly condition by that. Kinda sad, but you could say Faker was just put of this league
Ryu should have a royalty fee everytime it's played.

But if T1 has somehow prepared a team comp that revolves around Zed, then maybe we will witness a rebirth that will also be the perfect return that solidifies that legendary moment to have a new narrative.
SKT T1 VS KT ( Koo Tigers ): Faker shocked the world with Zed.
Then, assuming KT wins today and we get the fated TELECOM WAR FINALS... The new narrative would be:
T1 VS KT ( KT Rollster ): Zed returns to reclaim his throne.
However, the possibility of that happening is not even close to 0.1%. Faker is more likely to pick champs that we have seen him use for his recent streams which are Tristana, Fizz, Viegar, Rumble, Asol and LeBlanc. Then there's also the possibility of GenG 3-1 KT and the Finals become a GenG revenge story where they get a massive buff out of nowhere to push T1 to a 5 games series where the final pick becomes the return of Fakers Syndra instead ( Zed's girlfriend )
I think that is like 0.5% chance.

i've seen him won his 1st, 2nd and 3rd world championships, all his LCK championships, and most of his mindblowing plays. he's the reason i became a T1 fan for a very long time. he have been in ups and downs and never gave up. his consistency is sooooo good. he is my one and only LoL GOAT.
I've been watching Faker since Season 3 and to see him still shining as bright as ever, I am just in awe at how amazing this guy is

Faker's been in the game so long he inspired an entire generation of pros.
Esport players generally have a very short lifespan, especially playing at the peak of their powers. Faker's managed to stay at the top for 10 years with: 4 world championships (1 MVP), 2 MSIs and 10 LCKs. I genuinely don't anyone will ever surpass that so any potential goat debates are closed for good.
He also went to world finals 6 out of the 8 times they classified, only missing 3 since 2013. And winning 4 of those 6 worlds. As well as always making it to semi-finals. His career is insane.
Finally, he proves who he is.

Bengi and Faker might be the most terrifying and potent duo of all time. Even in the latter years of those two together every time SKT faltered bengi would step in and the two would just dominate. I can't imagine dominance like that ever existing again unless the game dies enough so the competition is less competitive. Seeing Peanut and his epic team try to take on those two in a Bo5 alternating with i think blank still is imo the greatest bo5 i have ever seen.
