The soundtrack needs an official release.
After the movie came out in ‘97, I kept bugging my local Disney store about when the soundtrack would come out. They said it wouldn’t because of something to do with Whitney Houston and Disney not coming to an agreement about something.
@@rowelleDisney did actually want to make a soundtrack. Brandy and Houston were under different music labels and contracts and it created problems.
Might’ve had something to do with Whitney Houston being a crackhead

@@MxyzptlksacSure not many people know that whitney's version is not the original. They can look into the details and see for themselves what the original is like. Just stay away from the 1960s version.....Juliea Andrews was a phenomenal cinderella 1957 (Personally love her roll as Eliza in my fair lady). They're both good in their own original way.

Agreed! But, that's the thing about Disney live-action remakes; Not only do they suck compared to the animated originals, but 9 times out of 10, there's also a live-action movie based on the same source material that's infinitely better than their live-action version.

I thought it was the Princess and the Frog with Princess Tina as the first African American Disney Princess. But it turns out their was famous Singer Brandy and Whitney Houston who their version of Cinderella on Walt Disney television ABC
Princess Tiana is the first Disney princess. Technically speaking Brandy’s Cinderella is based on Roger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella.
