I adore this! I am a Tyranids player and heavily invested Magic player. This is everything I have ever wanted from this cross over!
I played Necrons last time I touched 40k and the Tyranids have me the most hyped out of the commander decks just because I couldn't help but love the scrungly swarm.
Also, all of the legendaries look dope as fuck and I want to redo my entire storm commander deck around Ghyrson because space cowboy.
As the designer of the first version of this deck, I loved seeing you appreciate the final product.
In my opinion you guys did an amazing job with all the new tyranid cards. Thank you !

The deck, theme aside, is just seriously strong! I think Lucea Kane is the best commander out of the box. Being able to basically double up on every creature and draw double the cards from ravenous. Not to mention she ramps you and spreads counters. As a long time magic player who has always been interested in Warhammer but without the budget, this definitely scratches the itch to be able to play such cool factions in my favorite game! Preordered all 4 decks as soon as they came out and I think this year might be as good as Commander 2016.

The presentation basically guarantees I will watch this again later (possibly several times) once I get and start playing with the deck to help absorb the lore. I've always liked the creative of Warhammer, just never been able to get into it so thank you!
This deck is so thematic, the genestealers get in early and often, ramp you, and then pave the way for the big monster mash nids

I'm surprised how few reprints there are, or how many new cards are in this deck. The lands could maybe be better, but it looks like a solid deck overall.
At first, I was pretty sceptical about the deck, but now I am 100% buying it. Looks fun, and strong and the art is just perfect!
First off this deck looks sick, if I end up getting this I actually might just leave it as it is.
I'm kind of curious though if they'll ever use Ravenous as a keyword in a future set cause it actually seems like a cool ability.
After all the reveal videos have been shown, I do truly think I like this one the best. The creativity, the fun factor, and how there is always enough time to read the full card but not too much that it becomes very boring. It’s all just wonderful. So glad you were able to get a full deck preview and I hope you get more in the future. Best wishes and good luck
This deck looks actually sweet, and I kinda want all of them. I've pre-ordered this one and chaos so far. But I'm on the fence about the imperium one, but Tyranids have always been my favorite army.

I’m so happy with all of the art treatments this is getting. At first I was worried it would be more like the coin flip secret lair deck that only had a dozen or so new art treatments.

Im thinking about getting into Magic as a lot of my mates are getting back into it. Always loved Warhammer, especially Tyranids, Necrons and Tau so when my mate told me Warhammer decks were dropping and Tyranid was one of the deck I had to look it up.

I know very little about Warhammer 40k, and these decks excite me to look more into it. Tyranids look vicious and very on flavor for Temur. Can’t wait to run this!
As a long time Warhammer 40k fan who loves MtG, it's worth a look. There's a lot of lore but it's a fun dive. Pro tip: just pick a faction to start learning about and go from there.

Great execution on the reveal. This deck went from being the least interesting to me to being an almost must buy. Let’s see how the others stack up cuz this one looks to be pretty powerful

This is the deck i’m most excited for! Lucea Kane is exactly the Hydra commander i’ve been looking for and i’m stoked this deck is very tribal themed
The artwork on Magus Lucea Kane is incredible, if I wasn't familiar with Warhammer I'd think it was from some typical Magic plane. Yes there's a las rifle visible, but the darker shade makes it virtually unnoticeable.
Awesome reveal and as a former Tyranid player and a Commander player I love this deck.. already gonna call it that this is going to be the one that over performs when compared to the others just because the quality of mana ramp in it is amazing gonna ramp hard to the late game and some serious threats.
I was on the fence over getting this or the necron deck and your awesome presentation helped me decide easily. I'll hopefully nab the neuron deck eventually but Tyranids have always been my favorite species in Warhammer. Thank you for all the effort you put into this video, it was so fun to listen to and seriously made my day.
I've been wanting to build a Temur deck for a long time, but I've also been looking for a precon to sleeve up out of the box and keep it that way. I think this might be the one. Love the theme and all the cool new cards
This video was amazing from the introduction to the very end.
The only thing I would have changed on the cards is make "Shadow in the Warp" an ability on all the Tyranids and make it so that they have "flash" so they come out nowhere and "can not be countered."
Woah, I gotta get this deck, sleeve it up, and leave it as is. This oozes flavor and really fits thematically with Tyranid.
I am impressed. A lot of cool art. And this precon is very very Timmy. Looks fun. I am hoping for loads of alternative art.

hierophant biotitan looks like fun to play around with. but itself having trample would have been really nice.
lictor could be in many flicker decks
screamer killer could be good in a rakdos (rakdos 2) deck.
toxicrene seems like a good hate card against many of my decks.
tyranid prime is a card which i want to have but have no glue what to do with it.
tyrant guard looks like a really strong protection creature card..
deathleaper is sick, i love it.
biophagus is a strong mana dork. 2 mana but still very useful.
shadow in the warp is exactly what i have been looking for. great card. an enchantment helping me to cast my creature spells. the 2 damage to opponents is a nice extra.
ghyrson looks out of place. but he opens up a very different archetype.
command tower artwork looks like it could have been on new phyrexia.
ramp pack looks good and thank god we have a heralds horn.
I'll probably will pick up this and the Necrons. So glad you got to reveal this one.

I love the Chaos deck a lot as well, though of the four I think Tyranids came out the most cohesive and strong as a package. Likely due to their more unified and relatively simple nature.
Preordered this deck in the collector’s with the surge foils, and know my will will be too weak to resist trying to pick up at least one of the others.

If you find a doubling season for cheap, you should add it, adding better mana base is always good, otherwise I do agree, reprints as well as new cards are both insanely good, just a shame recent precon didn't receive such a treatment

I'm picking up both the armies I own for 40k, Tyranids and Chaos. All of the cards are so sweet and I can't wait to play with bugs in both 40k and magic

There’s not many cards I’d remove but there’s some really on theme stuff not here like chaos warp, blasphemous act, beast within, unbound flourishing…vorinclex monstrous raider looks like a tyranid. I also wish we’d gotten a thematic reprint of temur ascendancy or rhythm of the wild. Eh just minor quibbles though the deck looks amazing lol.
As a Tyranid player of about 17 years, I'm beyond hyped for this, and I absolutely adore the flavour in the card effects.
Deathleaper could be at the helm of a really spicy myriad/on-attack token generation deck and I'm all for that

Planning on picking this deck up, idk if I'm even gonna edit it much, I'm finally getting into 40k and I'm a nids player + I've been trying to make +1/+1 counters work for me for the longest time, same with Temur neither rly appealed to me tho. Slap a seedborne Muse in here to make use of all the creatures with flash though as well as the various X Cards I have from my old Zaxara deck and I'm very excited for this

I do still feel like a focus on distributing ability counters would make more sense for Tyranids. But the decklist still looks sweet.

Im very interested to see what comes from the esper and mono black decks. I keep a gruul deck for games with precons and this esper deck might be a good companion deck for that
I am picking all 4 of them up, it feels like wotc took their time with these and really made them right. This and the chaos decks are my favorite, but they all seem to do such a great job melding 40k with mtg. Also I really enjoyed the presentation.

im not a huge fan of 40k but my god i love this temur x cost and +1 counters deck full of big monsterous creatures, count me in to upgrade this deck

Just going by colors and theme. I worry that the necron deck will be the only one that can compete. This deck is the only deck with green ramp and mana fixing and is pretty well put together. The mana fixing/ ramp on the imperium and chaos ones is going to have to be superb to not fall behind. The necron deck looks like it's gonna be artifact and reanimator shenanigans it's gonna be less intensive on ramp for color fixing. We will see in the coming days how it goes. But I think this one might end up being the strongest out of the box.
@@DuxBellorum13 I feel the necron maybe the easiest to utilise and will win at first with being fairly cheap and as you said fixed mana but once decks get reshaped and combos are worked out they will get rolled. The land shenanigans the Nids can pull don’t appear to effect the crons but the Kelimvor and biovore (comes in and deal 1 damage to creatures) will wipe out the warrior token spam :(

Holy cow the ramp in this deck and the value. Some of these effects are awesome. I was not impressed by this decks legendaries a lot. But like i am seriously thinking of picking it up after seeing the rest of the cards! WOW
My Playgroup and I are going to just play the Precons when they come out and i immediatly called dibs on Tyranids. They are easily my favourite Faction in the Game (Not really suprising considering i used to be a Zerg main in SC2) and I was super hyped when i saw they would get Swarm Lord as their Face Commander. Still kinda sad about the Necrons though, the Silent King really deserved better
I don't play Tyranids (Salamanders all the way!), but I am heavily invested in any deck that includes RG! I likely will be swayed into picking this one up, despite my reservations about the Universes Beyond line of products.
