I think my favorite part of this achievement was spending hours trying to find this specific boss on this specific map just for the achievement not to work when I dunked the dunestrider
I love never seeing the Dunestrider on it's own specific environment and instead outside of it, like getting to see the Imp Overlord on his every single time at the teleporter. Only on the 4th monsoon loop did any actually spawn and I finally got this fucking thing done, drizzle loops seemed to just not work as the game started spawning in scavengers regularly completely circumventing ever spawning in a Dunestrider. At the very least now I swear to never play this character again :^)
The challenge itself is easy, the hard part is the fucking RNG. I've done 21 consecutive runs, less than half of which have been aqueduct and not a single dunestrider :| I can't understand how dumb it is to make hyperspecific challenges in a game that revolves around rng. Like, if the challenge was just "dunk a boss on aqueduct", then it would've been fine, but nope ...
Jumping whenever I pushed seemed to move it farther than not jumping. I'm not sure if the angle makes a difference, but I would assume the distance between you also affects it. It's definitely one of the more annoying challenges, just with RNG alone.
if i dont want to the boss, mostly i can see the boss but if i want to achievement, the boss never appears in the teleporter event so i love this game thank you hopoo games
@@y1tra872 You'll get it eventually. I got it but it was very frustrating. I forget if I kept redoing stage 2 or if I finally got it at stage 7, but I think redoing stage 2 is easier. If you have lunar coins to spare and find an altar in stage 1, use it, go into the blue portal and buy the stage 2 sand level if it's there. Becareful not to die to the Dunestrider once you get it to spawn.

BRO I LITERALLY SPENT 2 WHOLE HOURS GOING ONTO THIS MAP SPECIFICALLY WITH THE NEWT BAZAAR AND I HAVENT GOTTEN THE STUPID POT

If you can try using your Lunar Coins to get into newt and choose Aqueduct

@@ZXbolterZX Ik sometimes when I get on aqueduct I just end up getting the beetle queen instead or god forbid stone titan
I think the physics are different on console cause it's definitely moving further than it does on PC.
Maybe they changed something in the last update too, or a bug from it nobody noticed. Fire elites are still messed for me as well.
I would say. The bigger enemies barely move for me and bosses not at all.
The Dunestrider doesn't move nearly that far when I push it...

it moves further when its in its life steal form, atleast in my experience
