@@leonperry123 the barrier coaches are needed to allow the class 37 to couple up to the HST MK3 coaches because they don’t have the same coupling so the barrier coach is used to translate coupling!

Thanks for another great video.
Thank you, hopefully 37042 will be back in action soon!

When it says refurbished does that mean getting rid of the padding on the seats to get three extra rows in?

Another great video ❤
@@judithdownie4840 thanks!
I dont get how people get all these good movements because I seem to get none 😂. Nice capture! :)
@@charlie8562 lol, thank you!
Tractors still going strong
Not bad at all for a class of locomotives built between 1960-65
@@hippymoonchild I agree! 👍

Great vid as always. Just out of interest, what time was startup?
@@WestCoastTrainspotter thank you, it was started up at 9:00 exactly! 👍
@@TRAlNVlDEOS Thanks, it scared me on my way to the station, thought it was leaving!
@@WestCoastTrainspotter it did end up leaving around 40 minutes early so your lucky you made it!
what's the purpose of the barrier coaches?
Why did they rev her up?
@@cidertom5140 I’m not sure, I was wondering that too!
Very nice
Thanks!
@@TRAlNVlDEOS Really clear detailed sound, do you use an external mic, or what cam exactly?
I wonder what the reasoning is behind naming it after our closest galaxy.
@@peterthornton2396 the other class 37s in their fleet are also named after galaxies I think! 👍
@@TRAlNVlDEOS I guess the owner was/is a fan of space! Nice video mate it were cool to see the staff getting setup etc.
@@peterthornton2396 thank you!
Why have barrier coaches?

@@TRAlNVlDEOS Seems a bit over the top! Why not manufacture a converter for the two coupling systems!
