Favorite part of the game for me is the deals mid game. I literally mortgage properties to pull my money out then make deals for the prices I want. Sometimes I could hold properties from people I don't like if they mouth off but most of the time, I help people mid to late game if they were cool. Auctions are also fun too. Especially when you raise someone out of the bid or raise/bait someone into bidding more than what the original price is to make them spend more. I remember I played the game for a whole break one time but then lost. After that, I have never touched a monopoly board. Although maybe I will try it again after this video
12:30 the player does not need to immediately unmortgage the property. the player has the option to only pay 10%of the mortgage value to the bank and keep the title deed face down. the player can choose to unmortgage the property later on at anytime. to unmortgage the property later on, the player needs to pay the mortgage value PLUS the 10%of the mortgage value AGAIN.
Without watching this, you can play in 2 hours by following the actual rules, and not the rules everyone thinks apply. Any property not purchased goes up for auction immediately. You don't have to land on a property to be able to buy it like most people play.
Why do people hate this game. I followed the rules and really like it. The trick is to try to be the smartest player in the game and know how to drain your opponents
"I followed the rules and really like it" THAT'S why people hate this game. As this guy said, people play by rules that only make the game longer than it supposedly is.
Dude thanks for this. I was explaining to my family why the free parking rule is bad. Luckily they were ok with not having it. Also this game was intense I wasn’t sure who was gonna win! But you won so good job
Yeah, my math was off. The rule is that you add up the properties, add 10% to that and pay the bank. It should be $110 + $120 = $230 + $23 = $243. Share the video with your friends! I'll have more out this week!
Only rule we didn't follow is paying interest for unmortgaging to simplify things, nobody really unmortgages once mortgaged props they don't need anyway.
Very informative video. Thank you very much. I believe there was an error as regards mortgaged property changing hands. The official rule book says "Whenever a mortgaged property changes hands between players, either through a trade, sale or by bankruptcy, the new owner must immediately pay 10% interest on the mortgage and at their option may pay the principal or hold the property. If the player holds the property and later wishes to lift the mortgage they must pay the 10% interest again as well." But I liked your video. It helped me clarify some of the rules.
You can also initiate Trades of your Title Deeds with other players while in Jail. Buy as many houses or hotels as you can afford to pay for. And of coarse you can trade properties you own with other players. And obviously collect rents owed to you too.
Roshi Nobody pays for it, I guess. But like he says in the video: Buy any property if you have the opportunity to because even if you don't want it you're gonna be able to use it to trade stuff that you'll want later on in the game
Yes, you need to complete the color group (the monopoly), first. Then you can start putting houses on that monopoly. My recommendation was to buy up to 3 houses on each property that you own.
Jemar when one person gets all 3 or 2 of the properties (Browns, dark blues) you have. A monopoly (not the game the definition of the word) thus you can buy houses/hotels which is how you destroy people with. Also just a tip buy the pinks, oranges, and if you can the reds and buy 4 houses for the pinks and blues and 2 or 3 for the reds
The Speed Die was introduced in 2006 (which is why I don't have one), but I looked it up for you! The Speed Die is not used in determining doubles; it is used in determining triples. If triple 1s, 2s, or 3s are rolled, the player may move forward to any space on the board, and the player does not roll again. If a player rolls two doubles and then a triple, they do not go to jail, but after they move to whichever spot on the board they wish, and the player does not roll again. The Speed Die is not used when trying to roll your way out of jail. If you roll: - 1, 2, or 3: Add the rolled number to the normal dice total. - Mr. Monopoly: Move according to the normal dice, and take that turn as normal. Before rolling again or passing the dice to the next player, move to the next unowned property, which they may buy or auction. If there are no unowned properties, the player moves to the nearest unmortgaged property owned by an opponent. In the event that all opponents' properties are mortgaged, do nothing. - Bus: You can choose to move the value of both of the white dice, or just the value of one white die. For example, if a player rolls a 2 and a 6 and a Bus, then that player can choose to move 2, 6, or 8 spaces.
I have a question is there anywhere in the rules that explicitly obligates people to play their dice while they are in Jail if they dont want to get out? Thanks!
Yes. The part where they tell you to roll the dice and hopefully get doubles to get out. If you don't want to get out, then you have to be lucky, and have at least $50.
Hi if you have a monopoly property , at what point in the game you can put houses on it. Do you have to roll dice and land on your property? Or you can put houses anytime your turn??
You many only put houses once you got all properties of the same color. Once you do, you many put houses any time you want EVENLY. You may not put a second house on a property until all of them has one house.
This video is very helpful, though I still have some few questions. 1) Can I only buy houses if I bought all the three same colors of property? 2) What happened to the properties of bankrupt player, where did it go? Thank you very much.
Yes, you must own all the houses of a color to have the monopoly. Then you can begin to improve by buying houses. When a player goes bankrupt, his remaining resources go back to the bank.
GameFluent Actually bankruptcy depends. When a player is bankrupt to the back. All of his properties are put up for auction. When a players owes another player, he must give all what he has to the creditor
So when a player is bankrupted by landing on another players owned property, and they can't afford to pay the rent amount, they have a chance to trade with other players to help pay the rent owed. They can only trade their own properties, mortgaged or unmortgaged, with any other player. They also can sell their own houses back to the bank at half price. Other players can offer to buy properties only if there are no houses left on the properties. If a player is bankrupted in any other way, then the properties the bankrupted player owns are all immediately sold by the bank at auction. Even the mortgaged properties have their mortgage removed and are auctioned off. The winning bidder receives the property unmortgaged.
Thanks, great video! One question, after i rolled the dice, if i land on jail, am not in jail right ? i just visited to jail ? i can play next turn regularly ? And next video can be about Grand Bazaar :)
Hi GF-with rules on property improvement, to put on hotels do you have to have spent the cost of 4 houses per card (ie 12 houses equivalent or 8 on brown/dark blue) & THEN have to buy 2 or 3 hotels as well? I realise Im dumb but the hotels rule always baffled me & seems an extortionate amount, just to try & free up a few houses to be used elsewhere.
Heyy can you trade money instead of properties for other properties? And second question if i dojt have enough money to buy a property i can mortgage it right? What happens then
Number one, yes you may trade money for money, as well as Get Out Of Free Cards and properties without any house or hotels. And number two, no, it gets auctioned to the highest bidder. Mortgaging means to voluntary not make any rent from that property (or the whole property group, if you have buildings on them) for some cash
If you can buy houses anytime during the game do you then have to race the person who's turn it is by paying for the houses and putting them up before they roll the dice? What if the transaction with the bank is happening as the person is rolling the dice? I could see some arguments as to whether they have to pay house prices if the house wasn't physically on the board yet despite you having paid for it already.
12:34 the player can choose between keeping the property mortgaged but paying 5% of the property price OR unmortgaging it for 55% of the property price.
An average monopoly game between two experienced players takes a little over half an hour, just learn how to handle cash fast or use a smartphone app for that.
When purchasing a hotel after buying the the set of houses. Do you have to pay for a cost of a hotel & the cost of 4 houses because its shows the 4 houses in parenthesis
As others have said (and I know, this is an old video) the #1 way to speed up Monopoly is to auction off any property a player doesn't buy. Every time a player lands on a new property it should end up in someone's hand. I learned that from Monopoly Playmaster. :) I would go so far as to say that if no one is willing to bid on it, have everyone roll the dice and sell it to the highest roller for $10. If he doesn't have $10, give it to him for free. Some cutthroat players may even let a property go up for auction in hopes of getting it for less than the asking price.
What happens if your building a color set, but someone buys a property from the color your set. Do you automatically not get to put houses in that color set???
If other players have properties of the colors that you want, just try to trade with them. Make a fair deal with some properties that they might want or just offer money for it.
Slight correction, when you have a mortgaged property that you trade with an opponent, the opponent in question does not necessarily have to unmortgage the property straight away. Instead the opponent can just pay 10% interest on the property and leave it mortgaged until a potential later time. If he/she leaves it mortgaged, they have no choice but to pay this 10% interest to the bank, it has to be paid. On the other hand, if the opponent chooses to unmortage at a turn later than straight after receiving the mortgaged property, then he/she must pay the mortgage cost plus 10%.
And that 10% mortgage fee is calculated from the mortgage amount. Example. You receive a mortgaged train station from another player. You choose not to pay the mortgage. But you instead pay the 10% only. In this case the mortgage fee amount is $100 x 10% equals $10 mortgage fee. Pay $10 to the bank and receive the mortgaged train station. Later you want to unmortgage the train station. Pay the $100 mortgage plus the 10% mortgage interest. Total paid is $100 plus 10% equals $110. Paid to the bank.
John Pelagides thank you. Also what happens if you are electrd chairman of the board to pay each player $50? But, what if you don't have enough money to pay each player? Does the money go to the bank? Or do you have to split your money as evenly as possible then go out the game?
in my version of monopoly, it says to divide the money into 2-$500, 4-$100, 1-$50, 1-$20, 2-$10, 1-$5, and 5-$1. it still adds up tp $1500, and is another great way to divide the money up.
1: Regarding auctions for property a player lands on and doesn’t buy, isn’t that player then allowed to join in the auction? 2: I understood that when a player goes bankrupt, whoever it was that bankrupted the that player gets all the mortgaged properties and monies. The mortgaged properties only go to the bank when it’s the bank bankrupts the player (e.g. having to pay taxes). The properties are then auctioned off. 3: A player only has to pay the 10% mortgage fee straight away when he or she collects a mortgaged property (trade or bankrupted player) but doesn’t have to pay the mortgage if they don’t want to, right? And it might be a house rule, but if players doesn’t pay off the mortgage straight away, when they do pay off the mortgage, they have to pay the 10% fee again.
A player declining to buy a property at the stated price can participate in the auction. You are correct on what happens to a bankrupted players properties. The double payment of the 10% mortgage fee is NOT a house rule, it is the official rules of the game. Therefore there is a benefit to the player that receives a mortgaged property from a bankrupt opponent to un-mortgage the property right away if interested in doing so and can swing the cost.
Hi. We had a heated debate today. How are hotels mortgaged? Does the price of the 4 houses have to be taken into consideration, or is it just 50% of the hotel? We checked the rule book but it doesn't address this issue clearly!
You should still buy the utilities you can use them to sweeten a deal later, buy them like anything else. You do not have to immediately unmortgage properties when buying them, but you do have to pay the 10% interest on them immediately. If you don't unmortgage the properties when taking ownership, you have to pay the 10% again when you do unmortgage them later.
I got a question...... how works when you land in income tax? in the classic edition have the option to pay 200$ or 10%, it's 10% of the total cash or the properties, houses and hotels are included too?
I have some questions, me and my sister were playing monopoly, if I land on a property in which I don’t want to buy, can I auction it? How does that work? If I have two get out of jail for free cards, can my sister buy it from me? How does that work?
based on the rules: 1. Yes. If its refused it is supposed to go to auction. You can them place bids on it although beware you may get outbid. 2. Yes. You can sell to another player for any price or use them in a trade.
I have question about buying properties let's say I buy two red properties and a other player buys the last red propertie can I still buy houses for my other two properties that I own
This is when the wheeling and dealing starts. You must now find a way to trade with other players to complete your color group. You must have the complete properties of a color group before you can build. Trading properties to complete your color set is key here.
If you still can't convince people to not put money in the middle, I sometimes play a compromise rule where only a maximum of $200 or $300 is allowed in the middle and once it hits that amount it goes to the bank.
You literally made me crack up in laughter. Oh, how I remember us kids at home spending hours playing Monopoly, of course we would take breaks in between. Now I don't have the game. But if I had a Monopoly game I would probably win. Having experience in life in buying houses and selling helps and dealing with the real world as an adult. Kids don't understand some of these things. Yeah, we would make up our own rules. And even cheat.
Never underestimate waterworks and electic company. You score a finishing blow on sombody, and possibly win the game with those. They do make great bargining tolkens and morgage sinks, but you can rake in big money with very little investment. Also there is a chance card that moves you to the nearest utility for X10 the dice roll even if you only own 1.
Hey did you know they have like other versions of monopoly too like movie versions? My mom bought me Back to the future Monopoly for Christmas last year isn't that cool!
yasin L that's where the fun begins! You're going to have to make the holder of that property a deal he can't refuse, either in money or your properties to trade.
At some point in the game, one of you will choose to trade one of your title deeds for theirs and vice versa. Essentially you'll have to negotiate deals where you exchange your title deeds throughout the game with other players. You ultimately will end up with a complete color set that then allows you to build houses or hotels.
Usually that is the case, although there is always the possibility of someone ending up with a "natural monopoly" where they get a color group without having to trade with anyone else (most common with the Blue group since there are only two). I had the opportunity to participate in a Monopoly tournament earlier this year where no one ended up trading at all. That said though, it's pretty unusual event not to have any trading.
You don't have to unmortgage immediately, but you do have to pay the 10% when you take ownership. If you unmortgage when you take ownership, you only pay the 10% once, if you wait until later to unmortgage you have to pay the 10% again.
One utility actually earns a bit more money than one railroad. And both utilities is a bit better long-term than two railroads. But I generally agree, don’t buy utilities unless you are desperate and there’s a player you can sucker in a trade with it. Railroads trade well and yield more returns if you wind up with 4 but I never enter a game thinking “Im’a get railroads”.
Hi, I was wondering, if I was in jail and chose to roll for doubles and on the second role I get two 4s (which get me out of jail) do I roll again to see how many spaces I should move or use the previous roll as my turn (8 spaces)? Any help is much appreciated. Great video by the way.
So you had a choice. Pay $50 and move your token to the "Just Visiting" section. Do this before you roll your dice. Now you're entitled to your normal "roll doubles" as per usual rolling dice rules. The other option is to roll your dice without paying $50. Now you get out of jail if you roll doubles. But you don't have your "roll doubles" bonus dice roll. That is forfeited because you didn't pay the $50. You have three goes at rolling double to get out of jail without paying the $50. On the third attempt, you will either roll doubles and move. You don't pay $50. However your "roll doubles" bonus roll is forfeited. Or on your third roll, you roll any other number and move that amount shown on your dice. You then pay the $50 too. The other option: on your third attempt, you first pay $50 before rolling your dice. You move your token to "Just Visiting" section. Then you roll your third attempt. Now you keep your "roll doubles" bonus roll if you roll doubles.
I play a 2 player game by myself, using a banking app (no cash for me) Used to play with my bestie (bro) who isn't around anymore sadly. He always bought the orange properties, so on "his turnn" I buy them. We don't follow the Auction move. We also have a gentleness agreement - I buy a green property for example, so he won't buying another green property. I have lost to him on several occasions, lol.
We. Want. More. game instruction video! the people need em! my family sucks and it seems like kids today, and adults today, don't know how to follow the rules.
i have a question about selling hotels. what happens if i want to sell a hotel if there are no houses left to replace it with? am i allowed to sell the amount of 5 houses on each property and leave the lands unimproved, or am i simply stuck with the hotel?
@@AnathexAdventurer see there's an argument as to why you cant sell your hotel + 4 houses if no houses are available. the reason is that houses are sold one at a time and therefore going from hotel to the next level down requires 4 houses. obviously when people play the game and going from hotel to no houses, they don't go through the physical motions of placing the houses down each time. But this is the same reason why you cannot upgrade to a hotel unless you can physically have 4 houses on each property
If a player gets owes debt to a player, the mortgaged properties go to that player, where they either in-mortgage them or pay the 10%. If the debt is to the bank, the properties gets sold at auction to the highest bidder
How much do you have to pay? If you land on your property with one house or 2 houses? And how much do you have to pay when you land on your property with NO houses?
when you land on your propetry you DO NOT HAVE to pay, i say that because you said "when you land on your property" It's simply not a thing to pay yourself 36 bucks for landing on your property, because it makes no sense since the 36 bucks is taken and then given to you, making absolutely no sense at all and wasting time.
"okay if i have no houses and i land on the property? Do i have to pay?" No, because by wording of this it seems like you're landing on your own properties, you don't have to pay yourself, but if it's someone else's property you pay the rent stated. If it's mortgaged you pay nothing.
If you land on another player's property, and you don't have enough money to pay the rent, are you allowed to first sell houses to the bank/morgage property so that you get enough money, and then pay? (Or have you lost?)
No not at all. You own your mortgaged property. You simply choose when to pay your mortgage amount back to the bank to unmortgage your property. Plus pay the extra 10% to the bank when unmortgaging.
An auction automatically begins (including whoever didn't buy the property) Where all players can bid any amount of money they want for the property, even if it goes beyond the original price.
Some clarification needed here. If after threatened with bankruptcy, the player sold some property to another player to try to make up for rent and couldn't make up to the rent amount. what happens to the property that was sold to the other player after rolling the dice that landed the player on my property.
A player aquiring a morgaged property MUST pay the 10% differential, aka the difference between the morgage value and the unmorgaing cost, and this dose not unmorgage the properties. But they do NOT need to fully unmorgage the property, they can unmorgage them later as they would with any property they own.

@@GameFluent What if other people land on the same color and they decide to buy the property as well? What do people do?
Yan Tubelake trade
Jemar when one person gets all 3 or 2 of the properties (Browns, dark blues) you have. A monopoly (not the game the definition of the word) thus you can buy houses/hotels which is how you destroy people with.
Also just a tip buy the pinks, oranges, and if you can the reds and buy 4 houses for the pinks and blues and 2 or 3 for the reds
@@yanutube1 Use as a bargaining tool later.
Hello, sir. If I buy lets say 4 houses, and upgrade to a hotel, are the houses that I bought usable for other players or are they 'stored'?
The "used" houses and hotels go back into the "pool" and are reused throughout the game.
GameFluent thank you for responding
Speed up the game and get an advantage: When someone says they don't want a property, say "I'll take it for a dollar." Auction rules are the best.
When you land on a property, say "I don't want to pay full price but I'll take it for a dollar".

There should be a live stream so we can ask questions real time
tnx for ur great video
I have a question there is a red dice in my play box ! so can u mention what that is? cuz it wasn't any sign of it ur video
If you roll:
- 1, 2, or 3: Add the rolled number to the normal dice total.
I'm actually glad this guy explained it, now I better understand it :)
Thanks for the video. It was really helpful.
Knowing how to play Monopoly properly should be a basic intelligence test. You put money in the middle? You're fired.
So what’s the rule on when you can buy houses for your monopolies
This video is very helpful, though I still have some few questions.
1) Can I only buy houses if I bought all the three same colors of property?
2) What happened to the properties of bankrupt player, where did it go?
Thank you very much.
Yes, you must own all the houses of a color to have the monopoly. Then you can begin to improve by buying houses. When a player goes bankrupt, his remaining resources go back to the bank.
Thanks for the reply!
Jayvee Danganan He lwgit answered both of those in the video bruh
And next video can be about Grand Bazaar :)
elnoormobile That's right. You're just visiting. You're not in jail unless you're specifically sent to jail.
it would just act as a 2nd free parking space then.
No. Hotels cost the same as 5 houses on that property.
I really like this video. Great job
Good and helpful advice, thanks👍🏼
If you can buy houses anytime during the game do you then have to race the person who's turn it is by paying for the houses and putting them up before they roll the dice? What if the transaction with the bank is happening as the person is rolling the dice? I could see some arguments as to whether they have to pay house prices if the house wasn't physically on the board yet despite you having paid for it already.
12:34 the player can choose between keeping the property mortgaged but paying 5% of the property price OR unmortgaging it for 55% of the property price.
this really helped me your so good at explaining and now i can play monopoly thank you so much😊😊
An average monopoly game between two experienced players takes a little over half an hour, just learn how to handle cash fast or use a smartphone app for that.
When purchasing a hotel after buying the the set of houses. Do you have to pay for a cost of a hotel & the cost of 4 houses because its shows the 4 houses in parenthesis
Pay for one more house. You've already paid for the first four, but you have to hand those in when you get the hotel.
As others have said (and I know, this is an old video) the #1 way to speed up Monopoly is to auction off any property a player doesn't buy. Every time a player lands on a new property it should end up in someone's hand. I learned that from Monopoly Playmaster. :)
I would go so far as to say that
if no one is willing to bid on it, have everyone roll the dice and sell it to the highest roller for $10.
@@saintmerakbeta Thanks!
No problem, have fun!
What do you think about the newer edition of the game? Ms.Monopoly or cats vs dogs etc...
Thank you so much for explaining so clearly. I understood fully :)
Thank you so much. I'd like to ask, if i have 4 houses each on my monopoly, can I upgrade to a hotel on one of them and leave the others with houses?
Yes.
But sometimes it isn’t the smartest idea. If other players have monopoly’s, keeping 4 houses blocks of others from getting a strong monopoly
in my version of monopoly, it says to divide the money into 2-$500, 4-$100, 1-$50, 1-$20, 2-$10, 1-$5, and 5-$1. it still adds up tp $1500, and is another great way to divide the money up.
Hotels are not mortgaged but sold back to the back at 50% of their purchase price, which was the cost of 5 houses.
What happens if I mortgage a site to the bank and some players lands on my site which was mortgaged?
They get a free ride. You need to unmortgage it before you can collect rent on it again.
Is no one gonna talk about how we just watched this guy play monopoly by himself!
And he still had to sell off his houses and mortgage his properties
I got a question...... how works when you land in income tax? in the classic edition have the option to pay 200$ or 10%, it's 10% of the total cash or the properties, houses and hotels are included too?
Yes to Everything you own, which includes cash, properties (mortgaged and unmortgaged). houses and hotels.
Thanks! I found the video more helpful!

Once you’ve a hotel are you aloud to build more houses?

I have question about buying properties let's say I buy two red properties and a other player buys the last red propertie can I still buy houses for my other two properties that I own
Orlando Flores no you need the entire monopoly
Thanks for the reply
Orlando Flores HOW DUMB ARE YOU PEOPLE
This is when the wheeling and dealing starts. You must now find a way to trade with other players to complete your color group. You must have the complete properties of a color group before you can build. Trading properties to complete your color set is key here.
Will my friends hate me? Yes they will. Thanks for the vid🤗
13:30 Pretty sure you can still trade with the player properties for money or some combination of the two.
Yes, the rules indeed say you can exchange properties for other properties, cash, or get out of jail free cards 👍
But if u in debt and a player gonna offer u money for a property, it would be best to just mortgage and keep it unless they giving u a big deal
Monopoly now has a special "Cheaters Edition".
Are we supposed to play again if we get doubles?
Yes, you get another turn if you roll doubles. If you roll doubles three times, you don't get a third turn--you go to jail.
when we get doubles, do we have to go around the board before rolling again or we roll again immediately?
All The Small Things No, if you roll a double you move that accordingly, and then roll again in the same turn
My mom bought me Back to the future Monopoly for Christmas last year isn't that cool!
what if you have 2 of the same colour title deed cards and another person has the third? plz reply
yasin L that's where the fun begins!
Must pay an additional 10% on traded mortgaged properties and must unmortgage them immediately? Whaaaaaaat??!
You don't have to unmortgage immediately, but you do have to pay the 10% when you take ownership. If you unmortgage when you take ownership, you only pay the 10% once, if you wait until later to unmortgage you have to pay the 10% again.
When trading mortgaged properties, you don't have to pay to revert the mortgage; instesd only pay 10% of the mortgage value to keep it mortgaged.
Great video by the way.
manuthebet12345688 No, you would just use the previous roll and move your token 8.
+GameFluent Thanks, that really helped clear up things, I really appreciate the speedy reply. Have a nice day.
If you don’t put the money in the center what’s the point of the free parking spot
It's literally a spot where you don't have to pay for anything.
That’s why it’s called “free” parking. It’s one of the few spaces on the board where you are guaranteed to not pay rent

You are pretty much stuck with the hotel until someone sells houses.
(Unless you are willing to sell the four houses at once.)
@@darockk Yep.
My family refuses to play by the rules
ikr what house rules do they follow all the time
What city is this version based on?
Do a bankrupted player's properties stay mortgaged when they go back into the bank? To where you need to in mortgage them to buy?
Read the rule book. I think the newer versions have a more simple rule book.
Whatever the property card tells you to pay.
okay if i have no houses and i land on the property? Do i have to pay?
Jayesh Poojary thnxxx
when you land on your propetry you DO NOT HAVE to pay, i say that because you said "when you land on your property"
It's simply not a thing to pay yourself 36 bucks for landing on your property, because it makes no sense since the 36 bucks is taken and then given to you, making absolutely no sense at all and wasting time.
You are still alive in the game, bud.
You are bankrupt when you are in debt and can no longer earn cash by selling building and mortgaging.
@@AnathexAdventurer I have no idea why I asked this question, it's obvious as fuck, but thanks I guess.

Great explanation 🎉
Do you have to give up your mortgage property if your opponent lands on it and he wants to buy?
NO. He has no rights to them.
No not at all. You own your mortgaged property. You simply choose when to pay your mortgage amount back to the bank to unmortgage your property. Plus pay the extra 10% to the bank when unmortgaging.
Just make sure this isn't some house rule of a group you are playing with. I have heard that this is a house rule that is out there.
what if you dont buy the properties??
Thank you, great info!
