No one or nothing can stand against the onslaught of technology and
technology-enabled progress&ease.... BUT....in film music, especially Thamizh Cinema Music, the Analogue Magic, especially till 1965 STILL has no equal.... Particularly, MahaaMaestro T.K.Ramamurthy Pillai and MahaaMaestro T.R.Papa Pillai instinctively and intuitively UNDERSTOOD the intrinsic magical Alchemy
the music notes and chords invisibly underwent during the Analogue Recording & Reproduction,under certain specific, unique arrangements AND they both composed their creations with that Analogue Alchemy in mind AND accordingly, intuitively PHRASED their notes & chord progressions in unique ways, knowing in advance how the recorded very notes& phrases would metamorphose into totally new 'sound' when played on screen, radio & public speaker systems of those times. That's why these two MahaaMaestros' creations still continue to be the Touchstone of truly great,time-defying music.
Just miniscule examples:
* T.R.Papa's short, brilliant deceptively simple prelude of "கத்தியைத் தீட்டாதே உந்தன் புத்தியைத்தீட்டு"(விளக்கேற்றியவள்)- at the exact mid-point of that prelude,the analogue alchemy happens

He didn’t realise the difference human capability and computers. One statement is absolutely wrong. Without a computer IR can’t do music.
Ilayaraja wont allow taj noor to tell other composers.
He contradicts with his own statements, first he stats Tech should be fully within art form.
After sometime, he agrees Live music can't be replaced by Tech. Why such a difference?
IR is against using computerized tunes not against Technology itself as he still uses it.. So, what he quote abt IR said is misleading!!
