    Somehow it makes my heart warmer, considering that Your company chose Poland for the European base of opeartion ;) Last year showed the world that we are not a simple post soviet republic of EU but a strong business and political partner. Yet now more that ever the location of the factory makes more sense as we are close to the line of fight so the understanding of safety at this level as ATLAS bunkers starts to appear in the minds of wester europeans

      @@georgejoseph4164 Looking on the budget plans and investments in weapons last year it wouldn't be supprised if Poland become the EU armory. We once was defenders of the Europe, with our winged hussars under siege of Vienna in XVII century, so we may now stand at the gates of Europe once more against post soviet Uruk hai. Who knows

    If I had one of these, I'd put maps on the walls. If the SHTF enough that I have to stay in my bunker (either from natural disasters or man-made catastrophe) I'm going to be doing my best to monitor what's going on nationally, statewide, county-wide and in my neighborhood (probably internationally too).
    When I worked on an overseas defense contract, maps on walls were very common. I guess I'm just old school. I guess you can always pull it up on your phone or computer nowadays.😀

    the conduits have the wrong 2" 90 for the electrical conduits. They need to be 12" sweeps to be able to pull wire. this is on the 8"x 12" Garnado install on this video. this need to be fixed before the concrete is poured.

    Hello I am a long time fan since doomsday peppers I love all your videos I'd love to see more! I had a question does your shelters have a waste disposal chute or some way to remove trash without exiting the bunker? If so will you begin to include one as an option to your bunkers? I think burning or incineratoring the trash can be used to heat water or something.

    I don't know if you've ever been asked but I am going to ask anyways have you ever considered teaching someone how to do this? Some people work seven days a week just to make the bills get paid but deserve to be able to be safe and secure

    • @Alsacien
      @Alsacien 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's very sad that anyone would have to be at work every single day of the week just to pay their bills. Are they being underpaid and exploited? Or are they instead living above their means even though they don't have enough time to enjoy what they're buying? Hopefully it's not because of insane medical bills, those are just as unfair as getting underpaid and exploited. If someone is living paycheck to paycheck in a first world country, a bunker shouldn't be a priority of theirs. Their time would be better spent getting their finances in order and trying to find a better job. In the meantime, if they really don't feel safe, they can work on turning one of their rooms into a safe room progressively and ideally making it a hidden room if that's possible. They should also start prepping (within reason) first because no one is surviving in a bunker without the essentials anyway. As for teaching people how to build bunkers that are as well designed and fabricated as his, it doesn't seem like it would be in his interest, he'd just end up with more competitors using his designs and trying to undercut him.

    Why don't the shelters we see already in the ground, in this video at least, have the foam on the outside like the display ? I would think anyone who's going to spend all that money on a shelter would make sure to have that done. No brainer. Sound deadening and helps prevent moisture/rust on the outside/lasts longer.....???🤔🤷🏻‍♂️ And I would hope there's a way to foam the bottom as well, before it's set in place....? And if it was up to me, I think I'd have the sides, as well as the top, encased in thick reinforced concrete.

  • @RaspingPompano2

    Why is the Main Door a Heavy Duty Blast Door for Safety but the Escape Exit is not?

    • @panpiper
      @panpiper 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The escape exit is covered in a lot of sand (which drains inside if you open it) which protects from the radiation. The entry door does not have that mass otherwise except for it being a 'heavy' door.

    • @WardenWolf
      @WardenWolf 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@panpiper This. And the escape exit is also vertical, meaning the only way radiation is getting in is a direct overhead blast. If that happens, you're dead regardless. No civilian bunker is going to save you at that point.

    They're an awesome company but way to expensive. un less your making 100k a year, no normal person could afford even the base model at 40k. You can Fabricate a good one from a conex box aka shipping container with the proper reinforcement last will last forever. Plenty of diy videos on how to do just that.

    • @Subgunman
      @Subgunman 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You would have to spend thousands more for all of the steel requires to reinforce such a project. You would also need to turn the connex box on it side and and weld in steel plates underneath making continuous stitched welds to seal the underside from water ingress and then replace the wood floor on the inside since many times they are treated with insecticides that are non compliant for EU or USA safety standards. You would also need to purchase blast valves and blast doors ( cheaper and better than diy ) and incorporate them into the design of the container. Utilizing the nine foot high containers would be best considering you have to place reinforcing steel every two feet across the width of the container both inside and out. Not to mention all of the steel needed outside the container to reinforce the walls. You would need to find a certified welder who knows what he is doing so you wind up with maximum strength on all welds, no fly by night amateurs which there are plenty of in the EU.
      In total you might save 20,000 euros in the EU or maybe 15,000 USD in the USA.

Can anyone survive inside your shelters? Can someone ears survive a Blast under ground? 20 feet isn't that deep. Considering all missile silos including norad are several hundred feet under ground.
