Little note: the nuke is actually kind of like 4 parts. The large space on the right is storage to hold all of the movers, the bottom left is the clock, the top is the adder that increments the stored binary number by 1 whenever the clock ticks, and the middle region is the nuke that detonates when the last bit turns on.

@@bestaround3323 He means in the way of the move cells. so the first few move cells that get through will get erased by the enemy cells, which will make the nuke take way longer to detonate as it would take another step to generate another thing to fill the next bit, etc.
I know I'm late but you could easily extend it arbitrarily much by taking only half of the mover cells, then only taking half of those, then half of those as much as there is space

Well, yeah, it is slow, but it fits in 20x20.
And given the blueprint, someone could most likely make a map with, for example, a much bigger binary counter, easily making it much longer till it detonates.
But yeah, that would kinda be cheating, so until a new way is found, this will probably be the record.

The thing is, even if this nuke was started at the beginning of the universe, it wouldn’t even be 0.1% of the way done.
honestly I see multiple ways to improve this:
add another counter, ofc that would make it bigger, but every time it'd be multiplying the time by 2.23007451985e+43
make a simple system for the counter input that waits for 2 move cells to come, doubling the time and probably not being too big (too lazy to design one tho, dont take my word)

Technecally, having anything but a nuke is the slowest nuke because it would never go off.

You can pretty easily make a slower one by making the counter bigger. There just is no point. A much more interesting question that we can think about is what is the order of time taken for the slowest nuke. I bet it's O(n)=b^n for some b>1 but not sure.

Mkay so what if i took the whole setup and made it to where when the nuke SHOULD go off it just triggers a copy of the setup. Then it would be 2.22 nonillion years.

What the heck is that Purple Block?, What does it do?, And When was it realeased?, I never seen that block before.
That is the trash cell. Its a feature in the Mystic Mod. It deletes any block that goes inside of it.
