Something like a step-by-step for newbies (like me) who feel out of their depth. The thing I worry about an the awkward moment when I've spent 20mins drooling over a bag just to turn and leave empty-handed. Idk what to say! Love the new styling. I was going to get the smaller size last year but I watched another TH-camr review and she frankly said it looked like something you’d find at Target… OMG! Also, it was pretty pricey last year. Anyway, I’ll probably buy the new *gtdupe* replica again because I really like the added chain… Have fun!

There are so many beautiful bags in the video, but my favorites are the *gtdupe* shoulder bag in white or the Coach shoulder bag in pink. You made my day. Hope you have a great day.
I use my *preluxs* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interior.
Hi Lydia, the Diana bag didn't earn it's name because Diana wore it. The bag was commissioned by Mme Chirac, wife of the then President, as a gift for Diana who was visiting Paris and had it been given that name by Dior because of the circumstance.
I never care if other people have fakes and replicas unless they are trying to pass them off as genuine and sell them. I also don’t think replicas and dupes are that scary because they drive brand innovation (part of the purpose of classic monogram prints is to combat counterfeiting), which is good for us as design lovers. I guess I can understand people not wanting the same package as everyone else, but if it's a good *condup* whether authentic or not, it makes sense that more people would want it
The *yutulu* canvas tote bag actually reminds me of Hermes Garden Party, too. Thanks for making this video on suggesting more budget friendly alternatives. Love it! 😊
I feel like the world “timeless” is such a marmite term. Sometimes it means “stylish regardless of era” and sometimes it’s used as a substitute for expensive/exclusive trends. My goal for 2022 is to try to stay in that “stylish regardless of era” category!
I have to second the audio comment- the strong echo is really harsh and hard to listen to. Also would love to know about the mini Kelly- it’s in the thumbnail but wasn’t talked about?
I’m recommending based on timeless style, size and practicality and wanting to offer a lower budget option for those in the market. My budget has extended more so I don’t feel these particular bags would be utilised greatly in my wardrobe but think providing insight into them as part of this video was important x
@@lydiamillen I love the fact you are offering up alternatives, as you say, not everyone has the budget and you can dress these pieces just as nicely. Love the fact that of late you purchase and show us pieces that are not perhaps well known to us ie Lily Silk, Zimmerman but just as beautiful as top designer items. That in itself shows it’s not always about the branding.
*hotdups* The canvas tote actually reminds me of the Hermes Garden Party too. Thanks for making this video to suggest more budget friendly alternatives. love it!
No matter if it's the *hotdups* or any other, my steadfast belief stands that only practitioners can perceive dissimilarities in the sack's looks or the metal constituents.
I'm very happy with the HIDUPZ package. Beautiful storage compartments. Looks and feels like leather. The shoulder straps and zipper are of high quality. Very happy with the purchase.
I like that you follow your own sense of style, I too prefer the classics, a lot of brands are going fast-fashion. I’m losing respect and they are degrading their own name in the name of quick money.
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the *esluxy* as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
Love *preluxs* the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the bag. I don't think any other TH-camr can show off bags in as much detail as you.
I love a good *amzrepe* because it helps me decide if I want to buy the real thing or NOT." That part right there. That's IT. I feel like people stigmatize dupes but for me, I pause on large purchases that are trendy or when I feel the overconsumption mania setting in FOR ME. (It's something I struggle with LOL! I'm easily convinced to buy things I don't wear or use. They'll literally have the tags and I'll even forget I bought something and have 2 or 3 of them in my closet.) Love this video!
I love the *rrcopys* bag, the size, the pockets and the look. This wallet has gotten a lot of compliments. It looks expensive, but it's not. Affordable!
I haven’t watched your full video yet but I’m curious as to why you are wearing both your Kelly bags in the thumbnail but you haven’t linked to them (even via a reseller)
I remember saving up to buy a Chanel bag a few years ago when I already had the money to buy it. I gave up because I couldn't justify buying the bag at this price. Instead, I used the money to buy our second home. This is a better investment than a bag. Also, it’s great that I now have a *condup* Chanel bag.
Wow! Wonderful video. Thank you for sharing your secret! I have learned a lot from your channel and I love your engaging presentations. You are a great TH-cam host. Thanks *hotdups* .
Bags in*preluxs* are quite exquisite, and the workmanship is also meticulous. There is almost no difference from the original ones, and they are great value!
Love this video, and thank you for including prices I find a lot of videos like this don’t include the prices which is annoying when you’re trying to plan a trip. Can’t wait to go back to there, so many great places in this video *gtdupe*
Whether it's *hotdups* or anything else, I firmly believe that only a practitioner can detect a difference in the appearance or metal content of a sack.
You have really hit your stride on a personal level Lydia. Each video shows you becoming more and more relaxed, confident and happy. It’s truly wonderful to see all the work you’ve put into your own self-help paying off and I feel that you talking about your own struggles with mental health issues makes it so much less of a “taboo” subject especially given how many of us have been affected by the pandemic and social distancing etc.
*amzrepx* 's attention to detail on the bag is truly impressive. From the hardware to the lining, every component of the bag has been carefully considered and executed. Trust me you will be satisfied!
Halebever - I'm so glad it wasn't just me struggling with this!! I had the sound turned almost right down and it was still hurting my ears. Lydia - when you are recording in a room with 100% reflective surfaces, you do not need to project your voice so much (i.e. - yell).
Whether it's *hotdups* or anything else, I firmly believe that only a practitioner can detect a difference in the appearance or metal content of a sack.
As someone who is bag obsessed and will probably never be able to own the likes of a Chanel or a Dior, I love an Aspinal of London bag! Would of been a good brand to feature due to it being London based and loved by various royal family members and other celebrities! Plus budget wise it’s a tad more affordable for still being a luxury brand. I have a fair few that I’ve treated myself to over the years (both brand new and pre loved) and the quality is just amazing! X
@@annr6495 I love the lottie - I don’t own one only because I’m tall and the straps are too short for me to wear cross body which is a normal problem for me! The mayfair is probably my favourite I have several in different colours/sizes 🙈
Lovely collection! I bought my first LV when I was 25 years old. I only used that bag a few times, haha. Also, love your friends! I have an Eva clutch in the DE print and love the little chain. But I don't want to spend so much money now, I have *condup* bought the bag I want, it is as good as LV and is one of my favorite things. Durability

The NY times had a great article on how luxury brands based in Italy had socially and environmentally unethical practices. Their products are gorgeous, but seamstresses and leather workers are not provided with basic insurance or contracts (no benefits and could be let go without notice). It would be good to take a look at the brand’s practices before buying.
@@annasilva69 I’m a social science researcher with a PhD. This article breaks down unethical practices for general audiences. It’s not like all articles are good quality. But this one does a decent job.
@@elizee555 It’s very difficult to find work that offers basic wages, benefits, and long-term stability. Economic mobility is not an option for many people - companies know that workers rely on these opportunities, so with no alternatives they exploit labour to cut costs and increase profits.
I'm expecting you will be receiving some negative comments. And I think one's going to be coming to you from me, on some level. I have been following you for at least four years now and some of your content I really do appreciate. The travel in England videos along with the decor. I used to come to England three to four times a year and so I do appreciate seeing the little villages and antique shops and all of that The fashion is beautiful but I'm older and I'm larger than a size 4. A lot of the stuff is not realistic for me. I love classic, I love timeless, I love beautiful craftsmanship but when your budget is smal,l it is very, very challenging to even come up with the thought of buying a bag that is ridiculously priced. Now I am 65 years old and I worked my whole life, I would never spend that kind of money, no matter how much I made, on a purse. There's no way and the older I get, the more I realize it's ridiculous It's very much on the surface of who we are and it feeds the ego. I would be thrilled that you had a half a dozen bags and that's it. Maybe spending your money towards helping others and have videos where you are creating things that can assist the underprivileged. You have worked hard. YOU do deserve some beautiful items, no doubt about it. But for the average person to spend 10000 US Dollar on a purse, it just makes zero sense. The times today don't call for that. Life is different and it's not about showy and it's not about having things. I'm hoping that through the years, especially the last two years of the pandemic, that people realize the items that we have don't make who we are, they might be fun, but it doesn't show the depth of a person. I'm speaking as an older person though. The youthful people, like yourself, nay think all of these items still mean success, etc. Some of the bags are beautiful. Some not so much no matter who they made them and what their prices. I'm hoping that the majority of people that you speak to realize that a luxury item is really, seriously, NOT necessary in one's life, no matter what kind of budget they may have. I do really appreciate you. One other note that I wanted to share with you that really took me by surprise and made me extremely emotional. The relationship between you and Ali is one I think you keep very private. The two of you seem very distant amongst yourselves. I don't see a lot of affection in your videos for all these years. But one of the Christmas vlogs and I can't remember which one it was, I think was towards the end of the month of December, was of the two of you dancing in your front room. It took me completely by surprise. It actually made me cry. I re-watched that section again adding more tears to my cheeks. It was probably one of the most wonderful, sweetest moments in all of your videos. I think it was necessary that we see that and it really meant a lot for me to see that the two of you really have an affection and a love. It was a brief moment in all of your years that I thought was probably the most powerful and the most meaningful. That's the real stuff right there!
Wow, what an amazing comment, don’t know if she have seen it, but anyway, just wanted you to know that it was seen and appreciated so much! Best regards!!!
Thank you. I hope they see it. I really don't think it's negative I do think it's helpful regarding the luxury in the purses and having some kind of standard about assisting others and quit spending it on stuff that's basically wasteful, on some level. But the thing that they need to know is how surprised I was to see that they were tender with each other dancing in the front room at Christmas. That really messed me up for the rest of the day to see that. Thank you for your comment and support on this and let's keep watching Lydia
@@denisedonlon1496 This is what is wrong in the world; You are seriously chastising another person regarding how they spend THEIR money. Absolutely ridiculous. Yikes, jealousy and entitlement is just as bad as someone who you think is "wasteful" with their own fiances. I just bought a smaller size last week in a new color. It’s a similar color to my Birkin 25 Beton, but that’s okay! My bag doesn’t have the chain strap. I love the look of the chain and the simplicity and lightness of the braided strap. Love that color too. I wanted a small carry-on bag and love the *gtdupe* , it’s so classy.
Unfortunately not everyone bothers to think about how these objects are actually made. I have seen a video of pythons being strung up n force-fed with water till they are bloated before being skinned alive. That video made me re-evaluate my choices concerning luxury bags.
@@clt2744 exactly, and the influencrs give all details about the bags but no one says how they are made from the very start...no money is worth the suffering and lives of other beings
I have two pre-loved *preluxz* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.
I know wealthy women who carry replicas. The main reason they gave is that they just understand the value of money and don't want to spend too much money on bags... so more people choose fashionable *esluxy* bags. However, they do spend a lot of money on fine jewelry and other things.
The monogram bags of Louis Vuitton are 90% made out of plastic (they call it „toile cirée), but it is plastic and for this to spend this money!? NO WAY! I want quality also in the material! Has nothing to do with the origin of the brand when they made the trunks (back then there was no plastic)!
Your opinion is yours but your understanding of what is toile ciré is incorrect. The base fabric used is either cotton or linen and there a process called "l'enduit" that is used to render the fabric waterproof. Too long to explain here but please be aware that not everything in life is plastic which is a fairly new material that didn't exist when LV started making travel trunks. So your claim the "it's plastic" is false but you can own it. Hopefully, all said with respect!
@@juniorcharles3463 yes, the fabric = toile is made of strong natural fibres true, but it is covered with a petrol based synthetic material. "Enduit" means nothing else than coating. And yes this material is waterproof as it is petrol based and thus synthetic. = Plastic. Definitely no natural, premium material worth my money. And no luxury to my judgement and not sustainable either neither in production nor when to be discarded. If you do not believe me, you can look it up. It France you can buy toile cirée by the meter as table cloth for the terrace or garden that can be wiped. And when you look at the description it says "nappe plastique" = "plastic table cloth".
*amzrepx* included, it is my unwavering belief that without being a practitioner, one will never perceive any dissimilarity in the sack's looks or the metallic elements.

Come on Lydia, in one year you managed to have three Hermes bags (and all of them are most desirable pieces)? Black Kelly is something that you cannot get from the store so easy but you managed to get two of them? Even if they are preloved, price for them is huuuge. I smell a dupe in all of them, if they weren’t you would be making unboxing videos (with a lot of views). Doesn’t make sense.
She actually bought the B30 preloved and did a recorded unboxing and the Kelly28 from Hermes and I thought she also did video for that?? Maybe I'm wrong. Not sure about the mini though. I really don't think she would purchase fakes. Lydia has made a lot of money in the last few years so doubt she would need too.
So you’re talking about and recommending bags that you don’t even own?!? Bit random! How can you recommend things so you haven’t owned or used? Rather strange!
I don’t think that’s strange or random at all. I would consider the Hermes Kelly or Chanel classic flap to be the top 10 best luxury/timeless luxury bags but I don’t own either of them (because I can’t afford them). You can still appreciate things without having owned them.
I agree about not carrying backpack when i am travelling and am in crowds etc. I will use it on the plane as carryon however. My most recent trip i brought my backpack, nylon tote and Senreve Aria from *preluxz* . Nylon tote was used during the day for sightseeing and easily fit everything i needed. Evenings or when i didn't want to lug too much I used the Aria. It can be worn as belt bag, sling or clutch. I have chain strap to swap in if i need fancy look too.

I’m not really a handbag person, but I think it would be interesting to see maybe a mini-series in this style with your wardrobe? Like maybe giving us a “best and worst” of your clothing purchases of the month or something?
There is no logical explanation that justifies paying the price of a Hermes purse. There are so many brands of purses that have a similar style and are 'handmade'. So ludicrous!
I personally don’t require any kind of ‘logical’ explanation for anyone else’s choice of purchase whether it be super inexpensive or wildly expensive …. You do you, shop within your means and do what makes you happy …. Simples
I love handbags - and although the Hermes ones are very high price point - I love the fact that you actually use yours all the time which means your “price per wear” will really pay off - and they will last you a lifetime - my mother only ever had 3 handbags - that was it - a navy Hermes tote a small black Chanel and a Gucci cane handled cream woven holiday bag - never had any others

Have sisters found that choosing the right leather material when choosing bags is really a great knowledge! I prefer*preluxs* bag more.
No matter if it's the *hotdups* or any other, my steadfast belief stands that only practitioners can perceive dissimilarities in the sack's looks or the metal constituents.
The exquisite production process reveals not just a bag, but a fashionable feast for the hidupz.
This was my first thought with the latest Dior collection… I find the mass social media marketing style a little tacky if I’m being honest 😂🤦🏼♀️
The variety of textures in the LYXBAG pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
i love you so much! I recently just found your LYXBAG and i’m in love!! Your videos are so fun and you energy is just MWAH! keep living your life
My mom bought one LYXBAG and she loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when she went out with it.
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the *esluxy* as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
HEY HIDUPZ!! I have been watching you for years and im so proud of where you have made it! I love you so much! Also thanks for making my day
Love *preluxs* the way you show it!
I'm always scratching my head at the obsession around school bags and their practicality, but this one is adorable *preluxs*
Thank you so much 🤍
*amzrepx* 's attention to detail on the bag is truly impressive. From the hardware to the lining, every component of the bag has been carefully considered and executed. Trust me you will be satisfied!
I got this bag for my daughter for Christmas since she's been wanting one to replace her Colé Haan tote. If you could have heard her excitement. She was actually looking at the same bag to purchase. Winner, winner! *amzrepx*
Since discovering *amzrepx* it's been in my bag!
*amzrepx* The range of styles and colors on offer is truly impressive. Whatever your personal taste, you're sure to find a bag that suits you.
Hey ✨ loved the video ! Maybe the sound could be improved 😬🤭 it echos a bit
Maybe a clipon microphone ?
Halebever - I'm so glad it wasn't just me struggling with this!! I had the sound turned almost right down and it was still hurting my ears. Lydia - when you are recording in a room with 100% reflective surfaces, you do not need to project your voice so much (i.e. - yell).
I love *preluxs* garden party tote! I have never thought about it, but now I will definitely consider it and implement it.
I completely agree. I think the Lottie is as good, if not better, than the Chanel classic flap.
@@annr6495 I love the lottie - I don’t own one only because I’m tall and the straps are too short for me to wear cross body which is a normal problem for me! The mayfair is probably my favourite I have several in different colours/sizes 🙈
I love *preluxs* garden party tote! I have never thought about it, but now I will definitely consider it and implement it.
Durability
Me remembering nearly all the bags from the jag collection in *preluxs* other apartment on the dimond tray.. I think i watched that video like 40 times. Purse collection goals
The NY times had a great article on how luxury brands based in Italy had socially and environmentally unethical practices. Their products are gorgeous, but seamstresses and leather workers are not provided with basic insurance or contracts (no benefits and could be let go without notice). It would be good to take a look at the brand’s practices before buying.
what for? are they slaves? they can easily move to the ethical company
@@elizee555 great mindset 🤡
If the NY Times said this, I really believe it. 🙄🤡
I am so happy for your comment,
Wow, what an amazing comment, don’t know if she have seen it, but anyway, just wanted you to know that it was seen and appreciated so much!
The irony is that people like you have no problem spending other people's money for "nobel" causes, yet you and your ilk are some of the least philanthropic people on the planet. Yikes, jealousy and entitlement is just as bad as someone who you think is "wasteful" with their own fiances. I hope when I'm 65 years of age I care less about what other people do with their money and more about what "I" can do to make the world a better place. Your comment was self-indulgent and sanctimonious. Yuck.

Never found those Hermes bags to be attractive. It's funny what marketing, or the need to have something unattainable can do to people eh. Haha
Hermes aka Hand Skined Live Alligators and other Innocent Animals for what... bloody luxury litteraly
And YES, The HIDUPZ Tote! I have in Candy Pink and I've been rocking my "Barbie" bag all summer. Yay!
While watching the video I happened to go to *preluxz* just to see... and now I have a lovely Vancouver in my shopping bag. so cute!
Great video, I've been following you for *preluxz* years and I'm so proud of what you've accomplished!
I have two pre-loved *preluxz* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.
why are you shouting ? when editing check audio please
I was trying to drown out the dogs playing, they sound like walruses 😂
I know wealthy women who carry replicas. The main reason they gave is that they just understand the value of money and don't want to spend too much money on bags... so more people choose fashionable *esluxy* bags. However, they do spend a lot of money on fine jewelry and other things.
Thank you so much HIDUPZ for taking us shopping…my wish list just got longer
My girlfriend deserves all of these. Love her, can't wait to get her one.
goodluck

Exactly
I don’t think that’s strange or random at all. I would consider the Hermes Kelly or Chanel classic flap to be the top 10 best luxury/timeless luxury bags but I don’t own either of them (because I can’t afford them). You can still appreciate things without having owned them.
Was the Birkin gifted just confused when you said you didn’t buy from store so you don’t know how much it is ?
She purchased it preloved from a store in London
I agree about not carrying backpack when i am travelling and am in crowds etc. I will use it on the plane as carryon however. My most recent trip i brought my backpack, nylon tote and Senreve Aria from *preluxz* . Nylon tote was used during the day for sightseeing and easily fit everything i needed. Evenings or when i didn't want to lug too much I used the Aria. It can be worn as belt bag, sling or clutch. I have chain strap to swap in if i need fancy look too.
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the *topluxs* leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
I don't get why you'd want a Hermes Kelly or birkin. I'm not begging an uneducated sales associate to let me spend my money
Love *amzrepe* the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the bag. I don't think any other TH-camr can show off bags in as much detail as you.
This *rrcopys* tote is beautifully colored, very sturdy and the perfect size. Not too small, not too big. I look forward to joining my rotation
Love the Kelly and Birkin. Did you purchase the mini Kelly directly from Hermès?
I used to think luxury could only be seen from a distance. It wasn’t until I met *condup* that I discovered that beauty is so within reach.

I love Louis Vuitton. They are the only bags I carry. I have numerous styles and love the Speedy and Alma. I have purchased all mine from different stores worldwide. Also have jewellery, scarfs and luggage 🙂

I bought a LV bag *topluxs* years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. The store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of good quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I found zero differences.

Why does everyone say they “wear” bags - they just carry them - certainly don’t wear them! Weird
I still love my LV reverse monogram LYXBAGS clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.

Lydia, why, oh why aren't you using a microphone in your very lovely, but VERY echo-ey dressing room? 😭 It's not super comfortable to listen to (just the echo, not your voice), and it seems that even you have to strain a bit to talk... 😕

I have always loved Hermés, it does have a special "allure" .
I took the plunge and I bought one.
Because I live in the middle of nowhere, as I am very isolated in a little village, I decided to go for the Hermés Herbag 31, or also known as the "Country Kelly", it is a beautiful timeless bag, what can I say it was a perfect choice for me!!!
The Herbag is perfection 😍 👌
Please try one of the LOUIS LUCANO bags, they look so chic and high quality and they are made of apple leather in Italy.

What about the mini Kelly ? X

I found that *preluxs* has many big-name bags

It doesn't matter where they are made. It depends on the craftsmen and quality inspection. My family and I bought *preluxs* .
Such enthusiasm from you!! Whilst I don't have any high end designer bags in the league of Hermes, Fendi and Chanel, I do have a lovely collection of well made structured leather bags.
