I thought it'd be fun with a compilation of the couples' first "I love you"s to each other.
Includes Beauyasha, Fjorester, Perc'ahlia and Vaxleth.

I love how "You know I'm in love with you" is so suave and sexy, then two seconds later it "you know, how you, uh, turn into animals and stuff, it's so cool". Like Vax only prepped for the opening and then forgot everything else

I love how they’re all awkward messes and then Percy and Vex just say it to each other with such confidence.
I don't disagree, but also while it's the first time they say it on stream, I'm pretty sure it's not meant to be the first time they say it to each other ever. I can totally see their actual first I love you be cool and confident as well, but this scene is clearly an established and confident couple talking to each other and not a newly established one like all the others.
The Lord and Lady of white stone must be badass.
The other couples explicitly said "I love you" and then became a couple. Percy and Vex didn't say it (on-stream) until they were dating in-game for months. They sound confident because it's not a confession at this point, they were stating the obvious

I love the "I love you too" from Fjord, cause it just shows how much Travis has grown and also, something about them being really married and both of them still getting seemingly embarrassed is just so sweet
I wonder if they roleplayed as Fjord and Jester at home for "special" time. Also first son of Fjord and Jester should be named Ronin.
Jester’s I Love You is the most perfect character move. I had forgotten how funny it was, and how awkward and embarrassed and honest it was. incredible.

Why is Ashley Johnson SO GOOD at this?!
Everyone here is a pretty successful voice actor but Ashley is also a successful live-action actor as well. Acting while you're hidden from view is one thing but Ashley has grown very use to putting her whole body into her performance and it shows. I mean they all do to some extent but when Ashley does it, it feels less like roleplaying and more like acting in front of a camera. I always get butterflies when I watch her because even though I know it's just roleplay she's such a pro at that for a split second I feel like I'm watching a show and not a group of nerds playing games.
@@failedGraphics It's definitely that, and also what I love about watching Ashley play is that even when the focus isn't on her character, you can see how emotionally invested she is in the characters around her. It always warms my heart when a romantic or dramatic moment is happening to anther character(s), and you can look at her and see she's *completely* invested, sometimes on the verge of tears, just watching. Which is relatable, because oftentimes that's how the audience is as well. And that investment definitely feeds into how good she is at the game, too.
Can't wait for the Sam and Travis relationship in C3!!!

The way half this table is married to the other half. And yet they can all roleplay to the point of giggeling blushing messes with eachother is so awesome.

technically, Keyleth first said “I love you” wholeheartedly in Episode 65. But I suppose her reluctant admission in 45 counts as well… even though she said she THINKS she does, and she’s not sure if she can allow herself to.
Still love this compilation, though. Kudos! And the moment in 65 can still be in this context an honorable mention or something :)

It's so stinking cute
Beau and Yasha had the best love confession. Nothing tops Yasha telling Beau that she fell in love with her after seeing her in her most vulnerable moment with her family and that knowing where she comes from makes her proud of who she is now, reassuring her that everything she has accomplished is of her own doing after her father told her that it was his. It’s exactly what Beau needed to hear and was just so beautifully said.
