I feel like out of all the romances through campaigns 1-3, Beau and Yasha feels the most rushed and the least genuine... Like I feel that Beau at several times wrote Yasha off especially what she was mind controlled. There just didn't seem to be a lot of moments that built up anything with their relationship, if anything it felt so tacked on and late because Marisha realized that Jester was definitely going to romance Fjord. Even how Sam portrays the romance with Veth and her husband feels so much more genuine. Same with how Liam plays Caleb and how he feels about Astrid Eudwulf and Essek. Now, I hoped in campaign 3 that they wouldnt force needless romance pairings and I actually really liked Laudna and Imogen as friends, and was on board for a really strong platonic connection, but once they romanced it at least felt earned because they portrayed that relationship as really emotionally invested. Ashley and Marisha I feel like are just playing for laughs and dont know what to do so they just make it up on the fly... I mean its their characters they can do what they wants, but man I just never got behind that pairing.

Travis's was the most romantic in my opinion. Asking "can i kiss you" to your long time wife, roleplaying as two people with a crush, is just so lovely

It was clearly really hard for him to come out of his shell and grow his roleplay in that way and they hit him with the "AHA the guys who said he'd NEVER...." And "Look how red he is!" I think a lot of times we're harder on big guys because we think their size and strength means they can take the ribbing more than the rest of us, but the truth is they're just people too. You can tell how uncomfortable they make him. I feel for him a lot here

Yeah, it turns out, surprising no one who knows her work, that Ashly Burch is very talented. Her guest run with the Mighty Nein was at a critical story point and she added flavor and fun without trying to "win" in a guest role. Also, I'm not trying to say that any other guests try to do that. CR gets talented, professional guests that add to the stories. Any RPG group should aspire to the level at which they are playing. Except for the shopping episodes. You have to be a monster to enjoy the shopping episodes. Even in the best cases, they are hardly worth the pay-off.
