Is the FastCap guy, Paul, the president of FastCap? Quite an example of living lean leadership. Thank you Gemba Academy and Paul at FastCap. I only dream of getting leaders this engaged.

What a GREAT example of the culture of Lean! Great ideas always come from the bathroom :-)

Fastcap and Gemba Academy have become my "go-to's" for breaking out of ruts with lean-implementation.

Buddy, let me say, I´m impressed and I think this kind of practices into the company not just change the way what the workers work but also the way to live of them.

Love the bathroom for leadership & culture building!
I'm not sure "checking the 1st Aid kit" (an inspection-NVA) should be part of the daily cleaning process. Two potential root causes: 1) 1st Aid Kit kanban is not easy/obvious to use, so people getting 1st Aid supplies avoid maintaining the system. (strange because kanban is used everywhere in FastCap) 2) 1st Aid Kit Kanban is CLOSED and INVISIBLE. Several ways to fix this ... small card holders under kit for kanban cards would make it obvious when kit items are low... or reconfigure 1st Aid Kit to be in clear acrylic boxes on the wall so it is visually visable. These probably aren't the correct solutions ... I'm not in the real Gemba.... but I just question whether adding an extra inspection has fixed the problem at the root cause level.
