I have one. I've practiced using it with my dog. He weighs 80 lbs. It's great to have this and never need it, than not have it and need it in an emergency.

80 lbs would be difficult to carry long distance without this rescue sling! My dog only weighs about 25 lbs... As much as she seems to enjoy being carried around in it, I hope to never need it for real! Thanks for watching! 🐶 🐕

My dog did not like the Fido Pro. When I got off the ground, he attempted to get out, lying on my back. I felt he was going to fall out. I think he was afraid. Any suggestions would snacks help.

My dog kinda likes to be held and does not mind being carried around in the sling. Depending on the weight of your dog, you or you plus a helper could try lifting your dog off the ground in the sling without it on your back. This might make your dog more comfortable if it can see your face. That should allow your dog to get used to being in the sling without being on an angle like in your back. You could then try giving treats while doing that. Once you have done that enough then transition to putting it on your back. I also found that adjusting the shoulder straps to different heights can lead to imbalance. Be sure that your dog's center of balance isnt off. That could make it feel like its going to fall. Best of luck! Thanks for watching. 👋
