- Think you understand the game and how to play it? Think again. Watch this interview with Richard Gandy of the Rise Up Agency (www.riseupagen...) - he's worked with some of the biggest names in music and he manages some of those indie artists closest to the crowds. In the interview, he walks us through what it takes to find opportunities and book gigs.

Kids dont understand..you might be able to buy followers and spotify listens but, you cant use a bot farm to fill a venue..it takes real work 🤣🤣🤣
Amazing interview. Excellent questions and legitimate solid helpful answers. The past several days I have been trying to figure out my next move as an artist and frankly feel up against a wall. This gave me some inspiration and direction, thank you for that. Both of you guys had a very relatable down to earth viewpoint. Thanks again for opening my eyes.
👍👍👍👍🎸🎵🎶
Kory - So happy this was helpful for you! Keep on moving forward and keep us posted on your progress!
Man it’s so had to get a booking agency to take you on no matter how good you are and how serious you are about your craft! But I won’t give up! Thanks for the video! It tried to go invite someone from the company to one of my shows and it didn’t work! All that being said, we keep pushing….
I work with my friend’s band and they are struggling with this right now as well… they are amazing and incredibly talented AND have a decent pull and following, I’m surprised they haven’t been snatched up yet… but I guess they just have to keep working hard and hopefully they will get noticed
Thanks for posting this video. Hopefully it will help our band "Almost Skynard". We are good at performing but not very good at promoting ourselves.
Today, it’s much tougher to break through. But I believe hard work pays off. We’ll do our best.
I have seen musicians who work successfully just by word of mouth and have no social media presence
Nice interview, but the title was a bit misleading and I didn't learn anything new..
Thank you
how did this expose the music industry
Love this vibe ❤
Richard sounds like he knows his business & is a good human!
