This podcast proves that learning to build an email list and sell out a show should be the focus of any artist. Yes, we all would love to be the opener on someone's tour....but with digital tools today, it is very possible to now sell out shows with good marketing if you have an amazing sound.

Yeah your statement at the end is crucial, if you have amazing sounds. A lot of bands are pretty mediocre, especially live.

Great guest, great info. I'm curious though if he was responsible for booking the recent Billie Eilish tour through Asia, especially in Bangkok, Malaysia, and Manila, where the seating was sparse and far away from the stage in a largely empty stadium in-field. Clearly sound engineering from here has yet to come to the far East. Their venues are not made for music performances.

I am a pop singer songwriter, planning to move to a new city for a music career, slightly confused between LA and London, I'm into pop and rnb and looking for gigs and deals and networking.
Please share your opinions on which city out of la and london would be better? #ariherstand
