Sir i got it done from the service center and you can insist on using your own oil and they cannot deny it legally as you are using a better oil that the one they provide. Just remember not to change the grade at all.

Nitin Sir, Need help, My 1st service is done , Bike runs fine when its cold but as engine gets a bit heated ,i hear a slight noise from the engine at higher revs. There is no noise at lower RPMs . Service engineer told its normal. I feel this will be solved if we put Fully synthetic oil like Liqui Moly or Motul 300v as the liquid gun looses its viscosity when heated i guess and fails to lubricate properly.
Have you experienced similar issue? What is your view?
yes thats the reason i switched to motul v 300 fully synthetic . more reliable and less engine noise . yesterday i drove 258 Km non stop no engine heating no other issues

First service was not really done, they lie, and now I need to go more far, around 900 kilometers for be sure service will done :(

Brother 1st service 500 Km pe hoti hai tab change karvaiye and lamination is not important to be doneon the bike if you care and love the bike in the appropriate manner.

Completed 2300 km still felt no change in heat emission. Don't know what will be after 3000 km or so.

Did you ever notice the noise from the engine increase after running the bike a few (5-10) kilometers and the noise from the engine when you start first in the morning, the noise after heating the engine increases noticeably, I am considering the exhaust sound only engine noise. If not, please see whether the noise increase or not, I am facing this in my Meteor.
Sir thats the tapet sound which increases when engine gets hot , please switch to v300 Motul fully synthetic oil and the sound will vanish like anything

@@nishantjuneja5838 in new Engine before 10K on the odo, use semisynthetic oil, Motul 5100, gradually use 7100. Motul 300v is for engines that rev past 10K, useless for RE J series.

Castrol is also good but as per my experience Motul v300 is best oil for bikes.

Hello sir, I am facing an issue in my meteor 350 and I need your advice. There is oil leakage in the bike. On the left side of the engine. I had kept my bike idle for a week on single stand and today I noticed oil on the engine. Is this normal? What should I do?

New engines don't need running in. Dear Nitin, all this holds good only for older engines. I have run my engines WOT after 200 kms. And they are extraordinaire smooth. Every one rode my scooty vouched for it. I think running in needed for riders to adjust to their vehicle. I like your videos.

the Bible: Enfield manual, still mentions running in period for setting of engine parts
What will be the drain frequency for this v300 engine oil. I think in liquid gun oil also pure synthetic is there, only if v specify RE they change is that a good choice or motul ,what is the cost for changing oil for one time using v3.along with filter.i have subscribed to your blog.
Sir liquid gun is a semi synthetic oil and there is no comparison in liquid gun and Motul v300, liquid gun is around 280RS a liter and Motul v300 is 1050 RS a liter and this is fully synthetic oil. I always recommend to drain any oil at 5000 Km interval to make the life of engine better.. I have a 6yr old Fortuner run 95000km and sit in my car and you will feel like a brand new engine bcoz i use fully synthetic oils and even drain car engine oil at 5000 Km .

I got my Meteor 350 last week. Very happy to have it and rode around 100 km during weekend. I did feel quite heat at around 10km itself. Not crossing 50kmph. Is it expected to heat within this distance? And would RE authorized service center support other than RE engine oil requests?

have you tried motul 7100, that's synthetic too, will it work. What about other synthetics like liqui molly, castrol, shell etc, have you used those?
300v is good but expensive, and I read somewhere its meant for racing on tracks, and its actual life in day to day traffic is less...
its not the case i have been using it for quiet a while and the result is just amazing
