My 1 week old meteor heats up within 5 kms. The silencer gets so hot that it literally sizzles when water is sprinkled on it and water immediately vaporises. I even got a blister when my leg accidentally touched the silencer while riding. Engine heating up after going considerable distance is understandable. But so much heat generation within 30 mins of ride is concerning. I am tempted to visit the service centre but the salesman warned me of heating which is the only thing stopping me from going there. PS: Even the Fuel Tank heats up abnormally.

Great videos.. really helpful.. I have a concern regarding your another video on MOTUL V300 engine oil in meteor.. I queried royal Enfield via email asking if I can use motul from first service... They replied in negation... I can send u the screenshot of mail. Pls suggest.. Waiting Waiting..
obviously they will say no 😹 otherwise who will use their own engine oil. they gave recommendation of specific type of engine so it's on us what we use. we in india ask company but in foreign land people do their own service and use everything they want according to recommendation of company

I had decided to go for the custom black but the matte one was looking so damn good that I took that one. But now I'm having some after thought after watching a lot of videos on how tough it is to maintain the matte color and how fast it ages. So, is there any way I can modify the booking to custom black? And also, is it possible to not to opt for the RE insurance during final payment? Is the RE default insurance good?

Bhai iske silencer se 3 baar 1 mhine mai pair jal gya itna ganda heat hota hai iska silencer

I feel heating issue after each service. And after running 30-50km, everything gets normal - heating problem resolves.

Solution is wearing shoe. Company has mfg it in way foot is closed to bend pipe. It'll feel heat.
