Keep the videos coming brother. You have some interesting ideas for bat videos. I buy a lot of the older besr and gorilla era bats to hit bombs with at the batting cages and it's nice to see some of them on here before I buy them
I appreciate it, hoping to get one out next week and film some more if the rain holds. I got one of the 90s bats recently too, it has a slight crack and I wanted to test if it was still better than the BESRs anyway
Hahah love the ingenuity and curiousness of your mind to want to test this kind of stuff out in the manner you do. Keep smacking them pearls to the moon!
Appreciate it man! If its a wood bat, a 34/31 U45 (BJ Upton model LouisvilleSlugger). A little light but all the weight is in the barrel with a round smooth knob If we're talking metal, 34" CF3s hit the ball far easy. Lift the ball and it just carries with good spin. Also 32/27 Stealth IMX, you can get them for ~$50 and they turn you into a steroid era HR king 😆 i wish they had a 33 or 34" -5 version of those
@@andrewbats8523 I agree, I like longer bats because I feel like I get better exit velo. I think the C405 alloy bats are the hottest of the metal bats (90s bats). Been hitting with an old Demarini Double wall alloy 34/29 that is the hottest HR Derby alloy bat I've used. Composite, drop 5 XL1 bats and Hype Fire are my favorites. When doing slow toss, it takes 1,000 cuts to break in the XL1s. The biggest downfall to these bats are they are on 32/27. Got the CatX 33/28, but haven't been able to break it in yet. I'd like to see you extend an XL1 drop 5 from a 32 to 34". I feel that would make the ultimate bat. Also great idea with updating the weight balancing of the bat (knob weight).
@@darrylcline2083i like that idea of trying to extend an xl1. I'll have to keep an eye out for one, I can't imagine that thing with some leverage. And I've never had the chance to swing any of the c405s yet, but they sound ridiculous lol and I didnt know demarini produced a -5 34! Thats a unique bat right there
You need a Bat Bros collab!
I thought this was a big yt at first cuz the prouction quality is so good

Enjoy your vids. What's your ideal bat that you could hit the furthest?
Size, weight, specs...
