Certainly! Check on my YT Channel for Bach (Partitas), Mozart ( Piano C.to k 488), Mendelssohn, Debussy (Complete Etudes a.o.), Franck and Schumann by M.ro Demus.
Jorg Demus is one of two pianists I can trust to provide well-considered interpretations of Bach's WTC. I remember listening to Demus' recordings. The other Bach interpreter, of course, is Roslyn Tureck. While both have passed on, we can thank TH-cam for allowing us the opportunity to marvel yet again at their recordings. For those unfamiliar with Demus and Tureck, listen and enjoy!
This is one of the great Bk 1 interpretations at the piano. All of book 1, that is. Only Richter and possibly a few others are in the same ballpark.... which ballpark is somewhere in heaven.
@Voracious Reader He is not standing outside alone, I stand with him. Gould has first time showed a certain aspect of the wtc, but his sight is interesting, no question, but also a little bit distorted. He exaggerates the rythmic aspects and forgets melody.
Mi Maestro querido e inolvidable? Excelente pedagogo y pianista maravilloso
Beautiful interpretations. Thank you for posting.
One of the best interpretations ever! Thank you for sharing this with us. I wish there were more from Maestro Demus to listen.

Thank you. Enjoying very much. Reminds me of practicing which I didn't do as well as Joerg Demus.
Remarkable! I enjoyed this so much!!! thank you.
+Maria Angela Capello Thank you... keep following my channel!

I also like Schiff and Hewitt.
oui. Votre message date de 5 ans mais Demus n étais pas encore décédé, il est mort en 2019.
Grazie, Demy, per questa perla.
+maria_pianista Ne arriveranno ancora... grazie a te!
