wouldn't full circle mean that Harvey is still giving Mike talks? I think you mean 180 degrees, You need to be more specific as a lawyer buddy! You would be destroyed in court :)
@@randomt800kiddo2yes, indeed . . Maybe not louis that much, but zane defo . . And they are different type of massive players . . Harvey is the one that can close anyone, but will not be too serious about leading a firm, whilst Jessica or Robert can lead anything, firm, company, anything, but will never be able to reach the success rate of Harvey
Harvey’s cadence always makes me laugh. He says every letter of every word in almost a musical fashion. “I’m going to say it like this, because when I say it like that, I’m going to sound cool and win on my own gawd dam tv show, because that’s! how you stab someone with a gun. DONNA!”
It would've been a lot smarter to give promote donna to different positions so she could be seen learning and earning every season or so vs taking her straight from secretary to COO, it was idiotic and a bad decision on Harvey's part
Honestly I think they were just running out of ideas at this point. They couldn't give her any character growth because she already thinks she is perfect. So they chose this.
Donna went far beyond the duties of a simple secretary. She did the work of an office manager for Harvey which is a COO on a small scale. And when she took over the position, the firm had approximately 20 employees, and no one would have known the firm better than her.
@@arunbiswas000I do agree to a certain extent but I think there’s an argument to be made that Harvey was genuinely struggling and did make bad decisions
I love that scene cause he was absolutely right. The ONLY reason she got promoted was cause she abused her relationship with Harvey. She wasn’t qualified and everyone with a clue knew it.
Why didn't Donna mention the other COOs at the other firms when questioned by Malik when asked about her lack of law credentials? Also when asked whether if she loved Harvey by louis what was the harm in admitting it? They're not kids and feelings arise in working environments.
Because it wouldn't have helped her make her point since those other COOs have valid credentials and educational backgrounds even if they're not a lawyer. Donna doesn't. Harvey on the other hand doesn't care about credentials because he knows Donna is capable. He just wants to preserve the meaning behind the "partner" title which is why he's ok with COO or his original proposal which was "Director of Personnel"
Donna did reply to Malik and said "you don't need to be a lawyer to be a COO" and then Malik asked if she had an MBA. She also didn't mention the other COOs because Malik shut it down by following up with the question "do you have any of the qualifications normally required for that position." which she does not and I would assume these other COOs do.
The mock trial must not be cancelled. Big mistake of the lawyers to send their unprepared witness to the stand. Malik's cross-examination was inflammatory and biased, and the judge came in with preconceived notions from the start saying "the wolf changes its hair but not its habits" and demonstrated impartiality. Nowhere does it say that she has no right to hold this job or that the promotion is illegal.
I love the first scene between Mike and Harvey because it shows that things have come full circle with Mike giving Harvey the pep talk now.

I love the realization from Harvey when he comes to term with HOW MUCH BS Jessica dealt with as managing partner on a daily basis..
as much as i love the idea of harvey stepping up, he's too much of a wild card to be the stable head of a firm, louis and zane were much better

Mike just packed his whole office up like that 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Donna shouldn't have been promoted
Agreed
Donna becoming senior Partner was one of the most insane ??? moments of the show
Not a partner a COO she rocked.
@@Wilrain She was named partner first, then convinced to make her COO instead
Do u two mean “Senior Partner”??

It destroyed the show.

I Love you Gabriel ❤
Harvey is more comfortable closing negociations than managing people.
I know mike and rachel and dona are core people, but i would LOVE to see just Jessica, louis and harvey
We all need a friend like mike

Malik did not let her speak. He spoke for her and her lawyers did not object as much as they should have

Make another season with all of the original cast
Donna became so provocative in from Season 7. Demanding a partner role which is ridiculous
Why would he ever consider making someone a partner who is not a lawyer at one of the best law firms in the world. Buddy tweakin
