Thanks for all your great work as a CC for WoTs Claus. I have found anadotally that the same tank on WoTs can actually operate quite differently. One of my clan buddies had a Panzer IVH that he could literally snap his DERP shot for every time, even on the move, and land shots, where most peoples DERP gun will not operate like that, and this is not the only tank where I have seen differences between the same tank on different accounts.
It's "taking the piss". We British are masters of it, Australians are pretty good at it, Americans cannot do it and the Canadians get a participation medal. Well done Claus.
There are always a few American Masters. Don Rickles could "take the piss" out of pretty much anyone on earth provided they understood english. Not only that,he did it on American TV regardless of the censors which were more strict than in many countries.
I can vouch he does play. Seen him a few times. He showed up in onslaught with ARTY just to mess with us but changed tanks at the last moment before we started. Always the jokester. Love the channel.
'Taking the piss' also just means not doing something seriously, e.g. messing about when you should be working, as well as mocking or teasing. Something can also be a 'piss-take'.
Centurion is the British equivalent of the Leopard has the same gun and when not used in a pixel game was quite successful but oh boy I wish I had a Canadian tank , oh hang on a minute, I have its called the Ram 2 and has a pizza oven door on the side , with your family lineage Claus it might be suitable for your play style (only taking the piss mate 😅)

6-7 years ago, the British line of medium tanks was the most fun and maybe the best for me personally. The "pearl" in that line was Cromwell, but he and the whole line became somehow "nonsense".And to answer Claus' question about the gun. NO, my gun is nowhere near his!!
Good games but the educational, philosophical, and sometimes existential narration is of the finest quality. I play WOT to keep sharp and watch Claus videos to confirm it. Thanks for bringing this all together Claus.

All my tanks got the aiming circle small . Just as small as a small mountain . Lately I got a lot of ghost shells . It does not matter how big the damn circle is or how good my aiming is the shell just disappear or miss the target hitting the dirt .
The commanders vision system is only for light tanks. I don't have the Centurion, I have the tier 8 Caenarvon ax, and I bounce or miss (even point blank), more than I get to penetrate or damage the enemy. Once in a while Wargaming says yes, but those are few and far between games. Mostly (no matter how much armor I have on my tanks) my armor ends up like swiss cheese to the enemy. The dreaded phrases "that one bounced", or "we did not penetrate their armor" happen all too often, but most frustrating is the commander not saying anything, because my shot went into never never land. Another thing that happens all too often is even with 26 ping, shooting at the exact same time as the enemy, or even microseconds before, their shot hits, but mine does not. I have a 144hz refresh rate monitor at 1440p, don't know if dropping to 1080p would make a difference or not.
Would it be possible to set up your action x on your sheriffs account with the same specs and do a scientific comparison? Btw it's a classic rainy autumn here in the UK 🇬🇧

I can take a joke from Claus Kellerman any day of the week. He's a f*ckin' legend of WOT. I primarily focused on the British tech tree as I'm from Yorkshire and I've driven past the old Vickers factory site (Nothing there now) in Leeds many a time. I started the game YEARS ago and when I began nine years ago, I thought "Yeah, British tanks will set standards in this game! I'll focus my efforts on them". It's been a challenge ha ha ha. I aim to be an Ace W*nker in *every* tank (I'm Free-to-Play) before I move my crew up to the next one in the line, and I'm still having a blast. GL HF guys!
Hey Claus! Just saw your Raptor Team ad during your video. Say what you will about them, they have balls of Stalinium to use you in their advertising. You should get a free trip to Georgia (the country) where they are located and get a tour of their operation...its the least they can do for you for using your voice.
Claus I have a request as a longtime subscriber. Let's see an equal tier replay where both teams are equally skilled and a player not in a platoon shows off some amazing skill. I'll say it again, it seems like 90%+ of these replays are all high tier farming low tier muppets and I'm not impressed. By the way Claus, I'm sorry if your gun (I know how much you love a double entendre) isn't working very well. There's some all natural remedies that can help you, stay away from the little blue pills though. One of my friends recently died from a heart attack while shooting his gun, but at least he died with a smile on his face doing what he loves. Having a depressed gun is never fun, let's get some elevation going! That shot he took at 14:51 is a perfect example of when WG has increased your RNG to maximum benefit...should have never hit. Both tanks were retreating to cover, just crazy.
Great commentating as always ! Could it be a replay bug ? It looks like when they block their turret (RMB) it doesn't show the bloom .. Dunno, sure is weird oO
World of Tanks was not the only tank game to get rid of how dangerous he and high explosive ammo types were. Armored Warfare also nerfed the hell out of these types of ammo as well which in my opinion kind of sucks. I had a great fondness for both the Starship and Sheridan using HE. If you managed to get a penetrating shot with HE in the Starship you could literally kill the crew and the vehicle would still be there on the battlefield looking not too bad for the wear minus the big hole in the armor. Other vehicles in that game also used HEP and HESH were diminished in damage as well. The real challenging part was actually penetrating to cause the monster amount of damage but unfortunately penetrating now is still a challenge and the damage is very minimal compared to normal shells like HEAT.
I love the AX but I just can't get it to sing as much as the Tier IX Cent 7/1, it is a beast, love it. But for whatever I can't get the AX to sing like it does.
Yuri, I have great idea how we nerf high explosive, but keep name HE to troll players! We simply replace all high explosive ammunition with new HARDLY explosive ammunition! Is brilliant yes?

I'm American and very much prefer the Centurion to the Pershing. BUT I agree that the RNG is hinky in the Brit tanks - one game it's laser-accurate, and the next it's digging turf every shot.
both great games but the second was better imho and my aim circle is always huge you think about moving the mouse and it goes huge wait 3 weeks for it to shrink aiming aiming aiming the the gun fires bananas and you shoot the clouds or the dirt lol

i have to say, when i play my own games it seems that things happen at least 10 percent slower than when i watch a replay. is there a playback speed difference? and BTW skill just featured this game a few days ago. are you guys doing a thing where you each feature a video the other did. he recently also featured a game on the paris map that you showed first.
My aiming circle is as big as my tanks, I've been playing for a year now & have not spent a dime for any crate or tank, My win rate is about 49% a few weeks ago I was awarded a tier X K-91 tank I battled only once or twice in the past week or so.
Some good rng when shooting the gun helps for sure. But that's not the reason Centurion player had a good game. Good players know when to play aggressive, they read the minimap, know when to push and when to retreat, know the maps and all the angles and so on. That's why good players have good results on a regular basis.
I loved the very important Great British medium line and had a better win rate (53-57%) in all of them compared with my average... but, when I got to the Action X, even with a good crew and purple equipment, I could barely win a game - just looked and only have a 40% win rate!! The turret is cheese to gold ammo and it has nothing else to help it against the newer tanks - needs a load of buffs big time
I miss so much side shots it is unbelievable. I am a returned player after 3 years and I do not remember such ridiculous randomness before. Especially shots to premium tanks deviate to gun mantlet every fuc*ing time so I start to believe there is another hidden stat like "force field".

Good games Claus, I have all the higher tier british tanks and enjoy most of them-not the Action X though... it's made from tissue paper for some reason!
After watching tons of replays and after playing wot for 10 years I can tell you that these guys are actually that good and that the gun is acting like that because of nuances in their gameplay. They slow down 1ms before I do and don't get that large of a bloom. They play around server latency, they wait for enemy tanks to do that little nudge forward when they stop so they can shoot at their cupola easier. Ofc, rng has to be present for insane games like these, but I bet you that majority of us, your viewers, could not do same if we were put in the same situation. Like I said, these are just a tiny nuances that make a difference. I'm pretty sure you know who Kajzoo is, if not I really suggest for you to check his channel, he has insane games there and he often explains why he does certain things and how he does them. Often has a streak of games with 8.5k average damage, 15k spotting or something like that. But he talks through his gameplay and explains his decisions.
@@woochitelj I can't remember exactly, it was on some video where he mentioned he used her wifes/gf's account and mentioned using a cheating program, and at the same time indicated uses the same himself. Not sure when the video was released, I watched it maybe a year ago or last spring. Kind of lost interest in his videos after that so memories have started to fade.
There are many claims to the origins of 'taking the piss'. Some are quite entertaining. Those of us, who use this language, know it to be apart of the Game of Man. The more we like you, the crueler the piss taking. It's supposed to be nothing and you mock any who react as if you meant it. Great times. Not to be confused with banter, which is taking the piss but done with more obvious humour and anything but a straight face.
I don't know how they do it. I see some people shoot on the run, and do shot after shot with what seems to be no aim time at all. I can never do it. Plus, I can never get a ping time under 50ms. Usually runs over 80-90ms
i see a lot of replays where the reticule is like a pea even when moving, i feel like its kind of sus because whenever i play my "accurate" tanks any movement blooms my gun to all fuck even with 6 skill crew and full purple equip😪

Improved rotation mechanism , Vertical stabilizer, and vents. That is how you snap.....
I wonder if removing “acceleration” on the mouse pointer in windows mouse settings will reduce the aim circle size when moving the turret around.

I'm pretty sure you know who Kajzoo is, if not I really suggest for you to check his channel, he has insane games there and he often explains why he does certain things and how he does them. Often has a streak of games with 8.5k average damage, 15k spotting or something like that. But he talks through his gameplay and explains his decisions.
Last time I checked he admitted using a cheat, somehow lowered the respect for him.

@@woochitelj I can't remember exactly, it was on some video where he mentioned he used her wifes/gf's account and mentioned using a cheating program, and at the same time indicated uses the same himself. Not sure when the video was released, I watched it maybe a year ago or last spring. Kind of lost interest in his videos after that so memories have started to fade.

There are many claims to the origins of 'taking the piss'. Some are quite entertaining. Those of us, who use this language, know it to be apart of the Game of Man. The more we like you, the crueler the piss taking. It's supposed to be nothing and you mock any who react as if you meant it. Great times. Not to be confused with banter, which is taking the piss but done with more obvious humour and anything but a straight face.
My aiming circle is usually the size of the CS-63's at the start of his game - the size of the moon - no matter what I have on the tank.
I don't know how they do it. I see some people shoot on the run, and do shot after shot with what seems to be no aim time at all. I can never do it. Plus, I can never get a ping time under 50ms. Usually runs over 80-90ms
i see a lot of replays where the reticule is like a pea even when moving, i feel like its kind of sus because whenever i play my "accurate" tanks any movement blooms my gun to all fuck even with 6 skill crew and full purple equip😪
None of my guns behave like that! I agree that the 2nd game was much more action packed and can't wait to get my CS 63. I'm working on it, tho'!
