Just finished building this starter box! Really love the minis. Excited to get painting! Sounds like they're still learning how to best work with the new plastic.
Great guide and thank you for reminding me of the Orcs omnibus. Loved that book and couldn't for the life of me remember the author so I could recommend it to others!
I really like this scheme, it's the perfect level of detail and saturation for what i like on the tabletop too. I'll definitely be adapting this for D&D orcs!
As a old fantasy ttrpg/larper, I loved that you referenced the book "Orcs". Loved that book as young! That and the artbooks from the LotR-films did a lot for my foray inte playing Orcs at larps (think more high-end, rather the classical UK/US larps).
Great work! Can’t wait to see the rest. I’ve got mine assembled but haven’t decided how to paint them next. Would love to see you paint some Infinity models.
Great result! I don't know if I'd be picking up Warcrow yet, factions in starter are ok, but I want to get that eldritch horror faction, that is planned to be released some time later. It would probably not fit well, but I'd love CB to send you one of their TAG minis so you could paint it using Horus Heresy/historical style painting! While I love the sci-fi colourful manga aesthetics of Infinity, something 'new' would've been exciting :D
That is an incredible paintjob! Simple, effective, and very atmospheric. I am going to have to steal some of those techniques and colors when I work on my Darkoath and Kruleboyz. I'm also going to check out Warcrow. My biggest issue with Infinity is the tiny, metal models. Larger scale plastic fantasy models? Yes, please!
Fantastic! Really enjoy the fantasy style painting. Good to see Warcrow getting some love. What did you use for snow? I can't find one I like, yours looks great
I like the sculpt a lot and blue eyes on an orc? Why not? Red eyes are the standard and it's nice to see a change in that realm here. Siocast minis are really nice to work with--Reaper Miniatures, who I paint a lot of miniatures by, has been using that material recently and I like painting on it a lot. It holds detail really well, I think.
hi any tip for the paintings? I dont want to buy 50 bottles, just a a dozen or so to do the basics and learning. Any set do you recommend for Vallejo for warcrow? thanks
i don't have most of those greens for the skin except elysium, but i got plaguebearer flesh contrast and militarum green (can i mix those for the base? or should i start with plaguebearer flesh and then go over with militarum green?). i basically wanna have a similar yellow green like with the camouflage green ak you are using and then start the elysium green highlighting. maybe ill get verdigri. hence, can i mix some black into the base color mix and then use this for the shadow instead of another color just for that? would that work?
Hell yeah. Excited to see Warcrow. Anything not GW is a breath of fresh air but I’m super happy to see Warcrow specifically.
Great paint job. Warcrow is fun to play. Now I just need to start painting the troops. Thanks for the orc painting ideas.
52 Miniatures AND Cult of Paint covering Warcrow on the same day? Very cool! Warcrow seems fun.
Corvus belli seems to have had a big marketing push for "influencers" recently. A lot of Infinity and now Warcrow
CB really working their marketing budgets damn
I love the fantasy models, this is great! more, please!
I've always been a fan of realism within fantasy, especially when it comes to painting. He's a warrior, so his kit should look like it!

Capital work Henry. I love the slightly more muted tone you’ve given to the model. Can’t wait to try the game.

Came here after watching 52 miniatures and he had just done his video on the same game, both are brilliant video's thanks for sharing.

@@dungeonsanddrygins4852 thanks bud. I really do think it's a fab gaming scheme. And the model made it very easy.

Henry's last couple of projects turned out great! I thought they were Andy from the thumnails.
Great work! Can’t wait to see the rest. I’ve got mine assembled but haven’t decided how to paint them next.
Would love to see you paint some Infinity models.
I did not expect a tutorial with Warcrow minis. Looking forward to get my own!
It is wonderfull. Please just paint and talk. I find your guys stuff great.
Looks amazing Henry!

yeah the detail was really good. Just found the clean up a little tricky, I'm sure i'll get used to it.

I was just on Corvus Belli's website perusing their wares, is this a sign from above?

@@Garretlike yeah all that's be fine. militarum on its own will probably work.
What turntable are you using?
just a cheap one off amazon
A hauberk is a maille (chainmail) shirt with long arms and goes to the knees.
The orc looks like they are wearing a lamellar vest.
knew I could count on you guys!
Yedharo Models orcs are just fantastic but do not buy them in the smaller scale. Buy the bigger one!
