i love the chase music but in game it sounds even better. This Killer is pretty atmospheric with his movement noises of what sounds like bones, when he swings you hear like a ritualistic chant and then when Nightfall begins a choir of what would be associated with a cult performing a ritual. All this elevates the music. This chapter is really something quite special
that is not a sound of a ritual, that is the sound of the people who wanted a perfect peaceful place that has no dark thoughts only to kill each other. The vibes that each layer gives off are amazing. 32m: The trial is continuing as usual, there is a slight hint of something in the distance, but nothing worse than usual. 16m: Something is wrong. There's a new beast in the fog, comprised of flesh and torn limbs, it staggers from lockers, hunting anything it sees. 8m: It draws near, a malformed and hulking monstrosity drags itself closer, looking for it's next victim. Chase: It has found it's quarry, a rapid sense of dread covers the trial. The beast savagely tears through wood and wall alike in a desperate, thrashing attempt to catch it's prey.
this sounds oddly specific, but I’ve been wanting a killer who casts the realm into darkness, accompanied by the cries of its victims for a while, I thought that was something that would make a killer honestly frightening I was right
I am dead serious when I say this; I thought of a killer that I called the crypt keeper about 3 years ago that could go into morgues and appear out of others and could send fireflies to survivors. When a survivor got enough fireflies, they went into darkness and had to be lead around by other survivors. I wanted this killer power, and I feel that I somehow willed it in a way.
Still think that this thing is one of the best killers to this date. The design of this thing is so unsettling, but the noises somehow make it worse. The fleshy sounds and the bone cracking sounds when it moves, the chanting when it swings and is in nightfall. And god this music makes all of this so much scarier. I remember playing against a Dredge for the first time, and I hid somewhere next to a gen, kind of behind something, waiting for him to come up and kick it, when all of a sudden the locker next to me busted open and that thing came out and scared my soul out of me. This is such an S tier killer for all the detail and love put into it. It's even one of the 2 killers that has a unique chase animation. One of the best killers bhvr has ever made.
What I love about this killer is that it brings the horror feeling back to the game, since this game just doesn’t feel like a horror game most the time and it also has one of the best cosmetics in the game and there all very unique, by far one of my favorite killers in general!
The chase part is my favorite, the rhythm of the drum and the vocals just add to the chase, it's why sometimes I wish I can get a Dredge in game often just to hear it while I'm being chased.

By FAR the coolest original killer we have ever received. The mysterious fog around it and the things that it keeps contained within are so intriguing and interesting. Not to mention it's appearance alone is disturbing. It feels almost poetic, since The Dredge is mainly comprised of malformed and mushed human body parts. Making that single, endlessly gazing eye all the more disturbing.
The music perfectly fits the lore for the dredge, especially at the 16 meter interval. As the music progresses you feel a elevating dread as i gets closer, just like hos the Fold eventually gave way and destroyed themselves. At 32 meters is a slow pace like how the first people go missing and Otto starts his reign. At 24 meters you feel the presence of fear and tension like the sleepless nights the fold delt with. At 16 meters it is a cluttered mumble and you can't understand it like the fold eventually beginning to go insane after the death of the reporter. And finally the chase symbolizes the madness that Otto created with the people of The Fold ripping themselves apart out of fear and insomnia. This mofo is awesome
The way the xylophone can still be heard in layer 4 just alot quieter. My poetic interpretation is the entire chase music is a cult. Layer 1 you are observing the disturbing practices and procedures of the cult, they haven't noticed you yet. Layer 2, you underestimated their intelligence and they have begun to notice things such as misplaced objects and odd footprints, they're investigating and you are still sneaking about. Layer 3, they have found you, they go quickly to alert the higher ups of you and you aren't sure what to do panicking you don't know whether to run or risk discovering what will happen with sweat dripping down your forehead as crowds murmur about and stare at you. Layer 4. A loud howl emits from afar as a terrifying creature quickly sprints towards your direction. The one the cult serves. You immediately start running as the cult not interfering but chanting and howling in prayer of your imenent demise by their master, the drums of the song mimicking galloping as both you and the horrifying beast run for, your life.
Bro my whole BODY bobs. The reason why it's so good is that you can literally feel it in two ways, as the drums are played in both duple meter and triple meter.

Dredge main here, I’m not gonna lie but his backstory is extremely similar to a real life cult massacre, the Jonestown massacre Jim jones being Otto and the cult itself being the people of Jonestown. This is some terrifying stuff right here
this is weirdly specific, but the 32-16m has the vibes of an elderly person's house. the floral furniture patterns, the smell of dust and mold, knitted table cloth, old wooden cabinets, and a standing lamp next to the living room's rocking chair.
In the my young age i feard of the dark. Years ago after I saw Dreadge.. I just ask to myself.. "is that him?.. that's what I fear to see in the dark?"
This killer scares me When I go in a room where a locker is in the room and when he comes out I would scream I would almost throw my controller I give this killer a 10 out of 10 because he is one of the scariest killers and hardest killers to play with

Its ethereal form, hidden under a grotesque mass of rotting flesh, devours the light itself, drowning the sky and the air with the moans of a thousand victims, murderers, criminals and children. No one escapes IT. Nothing can. IT belongs to the Fog, and everyone who dives below its surface encounters IT sooner or later. Now, manifested, IT crawls, vanishes, and appears like a shadow, to satisfy its hunger and that of its creator."*

Dredge main here, I’m not gonna lie but his backstory is extremely similar to a real life cult massacre, the Jonestown massacre Jim jones being Otto and the cult itself being the people of Jonestown. This is some terrifying stuff right here
When nightfall starts and it starts chasin you, i swear the music syncs up with the screaming and its utterly terrifying
this is weirdly specific, but the 32-16m has the vibes of an elderly person's house. the floral furniture patterns, the smell of dust and mold, knitted table cloth, old wooden cabinets, and a standing lamp next to the living room's rocking chair.
Very liminal feeling
In the my young age i feard of the dark. Years ago after I saw Dreadge.. I just ask to myself.. "is that him?.. that's what I fear to see in the dark?"
My god I LOVE drums in games and this fucking chase theme is heavenly lol
When that layer 2 hits
Ooooooohhhhh...
I do gotta say, playing as Dredge makes you realize the chase theme has an insanely good beat to it.
Dredge's Layer one terror radius is really scary. Imagine you are in a blizzard road/forest at night and you see a silhouette walking to you.
Honestly my favorite chase music in the game
sameeee
the transition from layer 1 to 2 is SO good
The dredge needs a movie!!
Closest I know of is Babadook, which he was partly inspired by.
WELP, LOOKS LIKE DBD IS ACTUALLY GETTING A MOVIE
when it first came out i didnt like his design....TOTALLY changed my mind, this killer is perfect
When your repairing a generator on killer shack when you had a locker locked then you start hearing rumpling in the locker then you hear this.
i always think of the dredge as the entities adopted son, both are pretty similar except one is way smaller
I’m actually really interested in The Dredge’s backstory.
If you haven’t already, do yourself a solid and read it. It’s easily one of, if not, the most messed up backstory for a killer as of yet.
I can sum it up for you if you like
@@Trizzo317 If you would like to. Go ahead 👍
Lo he hecho, solo digo que espero que entren en más detalles en el futuro, como en un tomo o algo así.
@@jmr_draws more mess up than trickster
NIghtfall and the dark map and the killer combined is so dam good. A scary killer in dbd nice
Ok hear me out. I usually let killers chase me but this is the ONLY killer I actually will hesitate to loop
The chase gives off outlast vibes I love it
This chase music is incredibly good!!! 😳 and also the process to make this music is valuable for such a masterpiece ❤ i love it 🥰
I love this chase music because its feels like you are really being chased by a bizarre monster and that you need to run for your life
This killer scares me
When I go in a room where a locker is in the room and when he comes out I would scream I would almost throw my controller I give this killer a 10 out of 10 because he is one of the scariest killers and hardest killers to play with
Bro The Dredge looks FUCKING SCARY in NightFall combined with the music and his noises he makes gives me chills :(
His chase music reminds me of a soundtrack from Mortal Kombat Armageddon Konquest mode soundtrack and I love it
Hmmmm. I kinda hear it.
They always bring out the goods when it comes to the music
How have I just been seeing you so much more after your gf video?
@@dasuslord I comment on a lot of videos and now that you know who I am you start to notice me in more places. I’m like a Walmart Justin Y lmao.
2:56 So his chase music is Bleed by Meshuggah lol it has the same ryhtm.
The chase part is very catchy
*"The dredge has many names. the simulacrum of the abnegation of man for man, the avatar of blackened hearts, the bogeyman, but IT real name is the Druanee. From the depths of the abyss, IT appeared, born of the will of the entity, created and fantasized by the Ottomans when dark thoughts gradually resurfaced. Now, manifested, IT crawls, vanishes, and appears like a shadow, to satisfy its hunger and that of its creator."*
fuckin siiiiiick. shit like this is why i main dredge
Now that Dredge is High A tier, nothing can stop it. I think that thanks to Gaming Athlete, its pick rate and kill rate will be incredible
Dredge will be my one of my mains by the way, i love it to every bit, it's surely one of the best designed killers ever
The music reminds me a bit of Resident Evil 4 with the ganados. Really loving this atmosphere
*If only all chase themes could be as fucking horrifying as this one.*
His chase music is catchy
Oni and dredge have the best chase music of the game
🙏🏼🔥🔥🔥
Holy fuck is that chase music amazing!! It's creepy yet thrilling and zany at the same time
This is going to be the first anniversary chapter to sell 1 trillion tickets...
1 dredgillion tickets
The chase sounds different in game unless I’m not focusing on the music. The clicky sounds is more noticeable to me and the drums are died down a lot more
ASMR: You join a cult and are in the middle of summoning a demon
I love how you organized the chapters. LOVE. makes me think im plunging underwater deeper and deeper... 👻
