Beautiful bags 😍 Love how you went for local brands! I’ll be in Milan, Florence and Rome in October and was planning to get myself a Ferragamo or Fendi bag, but maybe I should consider going for a lesser-known, local brand instead.
It’s certainly fun to get a fancy designer bag but don’t miss opportunity to get a bag designed locally. Those bags are such a high quality and so inexpensive! Florence has a tones of handbags factories. They sell those bags in local boutiques all over Italy.

In Australia we are used to long flights, they cannot be avoided. At best, 23 hours to get to Europe,. 14 hours to California. Even Fiji is over 4 hours from my city! The quoted prices for the Italian bags are astoundingly low! Thank you for the video!

I can think of one big change that has happened in Italy in the last few years which probably contributes greatly to the garbage. And that same change that happened in Italy did NOT happen in Poland. Coincidence? I think not.

All the designer shops are by the Spanish Steps in Rome.
There is no way I will drop trash in the street even if a have to carry it all the time, is MY trash no the streets trash, bad education make the people to do that, in Japan there are not ANY trash cans in the streets, and the cities are pristine. Beautiful bags, and the price is amazing, thank you for sharing

I love the pics. I went to Rome in 2020 for the world youth day to see Pope John Paul. I will definitely consider the private tour for when I take my husband. I bought some water color pics from my trip and finally displayed them in our new home last year. Glad you picked Rome instead of Mexico. It’s much hotter and so humid down there. Best time for the weather to be decent is from Dec - Feb.
Was it year 2000? I went for the same reason, youth days, we saw the Pope, but the trip was a disaster. It was good to come as an adult and see everything from a different perspective.
@@MStyleMagda yes it was meant to say 2000. We were constantly reminded we were pilgrims and not tourists. So definitely want to go back now as an older adult with my husband so he can see it. He travels overseas for military so I want him to explore as a tourist.
@@camochica I remember we traveled from Poland by bus. That trip was organized by local Polish Catholic organization. It was a disaster, so it was nice to come back and see everything the proper way. My kids want to come back in year 2025. The holy door will be open again. Did you got a chance to walk the the holy door in 2000? It’s all sealed/ cemented from the inside now.
It was worth to come after all those year and see everything the right way, without rush and with some $$$. Much nicer experience this time around.
@@MStyleMagda yes now that you mention it we did. I remember we were doing all the things that would grant us an indulgence. LOL. We only had 3 of our confirmation students that went from our parish. We were a small group that traveled with several other parishes under our local archdiocese here in Tx. Memorable but definitely want to return and take our time. It’s what I want to plan for my 50th birthday trip. God willing. Happy you had a safe trip and brought back some wonderful goodies.

Beautiful handbags. I have just come back from Montecatini in Tuscany, beautiful no rubbish about. Visited Pisa Luca and Florence and I brought back gorgeous bags from Ghibli and Elisabetta Franchi wanted something different. Wanting to go back now. Enjoy your new bags . Love everything that you bought in Rome. I went to Rome in 2019 before Covid and i don't remember anything seeing garbage everywhere. I don't like the scammers, especially the one with the roses.
It also wasn’t that dirty when I was there 22 years ago. I wonder what happened. Maybe they don’t have people to work and collect trash. Something Is not right for sure.

Love your purchases, particularly the blue bag. Rome is a shopper's dream! I went several years ago with my son for 11 days, staying in Rome and doing day trips. There was so much to buy but I limited myself to a few scarves and Ferragamo pieces. We went in August and walking the long street to the Vatican is among the hottest I've ever been! I agree it's dirty and even though I'm half Italian, we weren't overall impressed with the natives' friendliness or general attitude unfortunately.
I agree, Rome is amazing when comes to shopping! I really only shopped for one day but I wouldn’t mind going by myself and have at least few days to do all the fun shopping there 😊

Beautiful bags! I want to go back to Italy so bad. When we do I will explore more of the local shops for sure! 🇮🇹 When we came across the scammers sorry to say that we just got very rude & would say NO & walk away. It was the only way to stop them. Such a shame…
I would definitely recommend to try local boutiques. Those handbags are such a high quality and the price is so super affordable!

I love Italy! We spent a week in Lake Como last year, only one day in Rome. I would go back in a heartbeat! Your photos are amazing! The bracelet scam is the worst!
I hate scammers, in my opinion City representatives should do something about all them. Lots of people get robbed, tricked, scammed. It doesn’t look good. I heard it’s the same in Paris.
