The skillets are smaller but I'm thinking that cuts down on waste. If they brought out big portions and diners didn't like particular items it would be thrown away. Just ask for more if you want it!
I agree that the smaller skillet probably does cut down on waste, which is a nice sounding argument to make, but c'mon, this is Disney. Smaller skillets is a cost saving move. Your family polishes off 2-3 skillets, regardless of you still being hungry, and I think you are unconsciously thinking eating more is gluttonous so you don't order more.
I've never ate breakfast there, but had dinner once, and it was awesome. Their dessert with some sort of caramel sauce still makes my mouth water 7 years later.
We just did 'Ohana for breakfast and for dinner this month. The breakfast was good. We did it the morning we were leaving so it was good to have a good hearty breakfast before a long day of traveling to cut down eating in the airport. It did exactly that. Nothing special, nothing to write home about, but enjoyable. Very little waste at breakfast. Dinner was a different story. We had SO much food after traveling all day to get to The World. As it was the first actual meal we were able to get other than airport fast food, it was great to have something more filling. We were not rushed (we were there about 8 and were able to say through fireworks - last days for Happily Ever After. We got to take our time and enjoy the food - especially our favorite part, the noodles. Glad we got to experience both meals.
My biggest issue is that Disney breakfasts tend to be very similar. Just got done with the Ft. Wilderness breakfast review, and the food was quite similar. There's a lot more variety at lunch and dinner at table service restaurants. Then add in that breakfast is probably the meal best skipped if you're trying to do a bunch of rides, and just give me something quick in the hotel room and I'm good.
So happy my dude finally got a mic. There’s been a few that have been rough to watch but I powered through. Hopefully visiting again in February. Cheers!
I did go with my daughters and they had a character breakfast that was probably 12 years ago. But seeing the both of my children are in college now I don’t think I’m gonna go out of my way for a character breakfast. Thank you Hayley & Fiasco
Nicely done, Fiascos! Between the baby microphone, and the tiki booty, I'm a happy woman, with a big smile on my face! :) Never done breakfast here, only dinner, but it all looked pretty okay, although rather "run of the mill", except for maybe the pineapple bread, and maybe that "run of the mill waffles" have Stitch on them.
I just ate at Ohana 1-2 weeks ago with my wife and mother law. It was phenomenal service. Didn’t think I’d say that about Ohana. The fruit and bread came out first. Then they asked if we were ready for the skillet. We told them yes and they took great care of us. My cup of POG was never empty.
The last time I was at Ohana breakfast was about 10 years ago. Our server forgot to give us the pineapple bread and we didn’t notice until seeing it on other peoples tables as we were leaving. I didn’t realize there was a hype around this bread at the time. My kids and I are going on Sunday and I’m not leaving without the pineapple bread this time! 🍍 🥥 🍞 🍳 🥓 🧇
Great review! I have been to Ohana many times, and I am usually satisfied. It may be a bit overrated. Pleasure to see you both in this review. Haley looks so pretty!
@@slimcourage901 I went with just my son in 2019 (who was 3 at the time) and the skillets were definitely larger than that. I will say, I'm not really against it. No need to waste food, which we did at the time. As long as they are prompt, like he said, and bring you more of what you want, I'm good with it.
We went about 3 times on our last trip (last month) and we didnt get pog juice once as it was always out. It was delicious and even though there were two of us we had lovely portion sizes and we did ask for more ham and eggs all times. Lovely servers, lovely atmosphere and the Sitch smoothie was AMAZING!! We got all our reservations the day before on the app and we turned up early every time and were seated straight away!!!!
This was a great review!! My family is going to WDW for the first time in about 6 weeks) we are West coasters and always went to Dland. My daughter and her fiancé moved to Orlando so we are excited to try some of these restaurants!! We have a reservation for OHana breakfast and thank you for the ice coffee tip, it’s my morning must have!! I will be looking for your other vlogs. 😃
I haven't been back to Ohana's yet; I am really waiting for Garden Grill! Hopefully it will be open in time for end of September. I agree with Disney sausage: I really don't enjoy link sausage in general (prefer patty sausage), but I can eat it if it is cooked and browned pretty well. Sometimes it comes out gray and that is just nasty! Thanks for the great review!
I have never been to the Polynesian or any restaurants there. Would love to go one day! I would probably aim for dinner at Ohana before trying the breakfast though.
We ate there on our last trip, but it is not on our itenerary for our next trip. We decided that we would rather have more morning time in the park than going to breakfast there.
they should add the ohana noodles to breakfast, as right now there is nothing ‘special’ about the current one, and people love those noodles. it would cost them pennies to add.
Course eating is something I am pretty particular about (for instance please bring my salad before my entree) and I have actually read reviews which said the food even came before the drinks and I just know I would not like that.
They use the baby skillets for parties of five as well. The food was great but bringing out a baby skillet for five people is ridiculous. Three sausage and three ham triangles for five people? 🤦🏼♀️
I think the intro has been a good change but possibly go away from the talking clip and go for a walking up to the restaurant, video of food, something intro? It doesn't feel like it really blends some times.
Great review - y'all do good thorough reviews together. I wasn't impressed w/my Ohana dinner in 2018. Rushed horribly, chewy chicken, just meh. We did enjoy the breakfast.
I’ve never tried this restaurant. On my last trip we ate at whispering Canyon at our hotel and we loved it. For the price without the characters I would skip eating here for now.
Call me crazy, but I like the Stitch waffles better than the Mickey waffles! LOL I know, I'm biased because Stitch is my favorite character! Seriously though, I'm glad Ohana has reopened and is back, but unless they bring back the characters I wouldn't go back. Fingers crossed they do soon though, I mean who doesn't want to have breakfast with Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch? It's hard to get a reservation though currently, so we'll see!
Always lovely to see Fiasco with his wife on these reviews. Thanks for your thorough review and opinions. Nothing in this video changes my opinion that Ohana remains one of the most overrated restaurants at WDW. With so many wonderful restaurants within WDW, I see no reason to go here.
The reason why those eggs were watery was because they weren't real eggs, but instead made from previously-frozen liquid egg mix. Those "well-done eggs" served the second time around were simply fake eggs cooked long enough get all of the water out. That is what you are getting for your $25 per person. These guys are just way too generous in their recommendations. It is obvious that they thought the breakfast was just OK, but couldn't even bring themselves to say it. That doesn't help anyone. It is also obvious that this food was cheap and not at all plentiful. That is why family-style dining is the biggest rip-off. Who wants to be constantly asking for more food? So Disney gets away with serving small portions and just pocketing more money. The smart move here (and one that should have been mentioned) was to go across the hall and have a proper sit-down breakfast at Kona Cafe. There, you could have a restaurant-quality entree (made with REAL eggs) and even if you added on a fruit cup (to make it comparable to Ohana's meal), the cost would still have come in at under $25 a person. Eating crap food served family-style (including at Garden Grill) is always a sucker's proposition. Don't fall for it.
Put me into that "$25 for breakfast is a ripoff!" category. Even for WDW! The quality just doesn't match the cost. Breakfast is the one meal we hardly ever eat on property because of the quality vs cost issue.
It is nonsense to say you really don't care that the fruit and bread wasn't there first as it is supposed to be. That isn't an indication of good service. Excusing poor service in a restaurant that charges what Ohana charges when you are reviewing the restaurant is wrong. You pay for the entire presentation, not by the piece. We ate dinner there last week. Steak pieces and chicken was burned to the point of being inedible. They tried to tell us it is charred. We will think carefully before going there again and if we do we won't quite so forgiving. We could have gone to Fogo De Chao for the same price and had a much better selection of meat, cooked perfectly, and a salad and side bar that is much better. Fogo is cheaper and only fifteen minutes away. Disney need to fix their problems and stop pretending they are doing the customer a favor...they aren't.
I was there in 2019 with my father. It had to be the worst dining experience I've had at Disney World. Extremely over-rated and over-priced. The food was average. The service was so rushed that we couldn't even relax. I would not go back there again.
nice to see Ohana open. couple things my main question is why send a couple to do a breakfast review that are not big breakfast people to begin with ? secondly , skillets are smaller for less waste and keep in mind its all you can eat so just ask for more...thirdly you cannot compare pineapple bread to a cinnamon bun ( not even its size difference) and last but not least its FAMILY STYLE people, why it shocks people it comes out quickly is mind blowing, if you dont want it served quickly go to an a la carte !!! Do Not mean to critique cause i do enjoy the reviews but it seems like Cory walked in ready with Petes last opinions of it.... and yes we are big fans of Ohana its not our favorite for dinner or breakfast, but price to food/ambiance its untouchable....
The skillets are smaller but I'm thinking that cuts down on waste. If they brought out big portions and diners didn't like particular items it would be thrown away. Just ask for more if you want it!

Fiasco food reviews are my fave! :)
What a nice couple. So sweet.
Great review! You 2 are so adorable. Hayley is stunningly beautiful!
Great video Fiasco! Thank you for letting us at the table for your Polynesian breakfast!!
Thanks for the review. Hayley looks amazing!
Nothing like chiseled buns for breakfast 🤣
It made me laugh too when the camera focused on the chiseled buns.
I've never ate breakfast there, but had dinner once, and it was awesome. Their dessert with some sort of caramel sauce still makes my mouth water 7 years later.
I love Hayley in these videos. She is so intelligent and confident and well spoken.

The skillet looks worth it for all you care to enjoy. A hearty breakfast. -S
Now with 100% more tiki buns! 👀
You two are so cute ! Hayley is a beautiful lady ❤️

Besides the great perspective these two offer… Be like you playing in the background made this video sooooo amazing.
Eggs are made in a bag that are boiled , hence the water
So happy my dude finally got a mic. There’s been a few that have been rough to watch but I powered through. Hopefully visiting again in February. Cheers!

Haley is so sweet and cute!

Also, those skillets are mad smaller than what they used to be.
I wonder if them being a party of 2 was a factor there. Maybe they only use the bigger skillets for tables with more people?

Halley - you have a character right at your table. Love Fiasco.

Thanks, guys, for the candid review! ❤️watching you both.
Great review, I really enjoyed it!

Thanks for this!
Alternative title: watch Fiasco be conflicted about liking Ohana breakfast, but not quite wanting to say he liked Ohana breakfast.
I think he said it. Not worth the money. When you talking about the server being good, but not the food, don't waste your time.
they should add the ohana noodles to breakfast, as right now there is nothing ‘special’ about the current one, and people love those noodles. it would cost them pennies to add.
Did you have to pay extra for the iced coffee? Thanks
Love Ohana breakfast, so delicious! 😋
I Miss Fiasco.
Course eating is something I am pretty particular about (for instance please bring my salad before my entree) and I have actually read reviews which said the food even came before the drinks and I just know I would not like that.
what was the veg/vegan option?
They normally do rush u though
What is the "wade" breakfast?
They use the baby skillets for parties of five as well. The food was great but bringing out a baby skillet for five people is ridiculous. Three sausage and three ham triangles for five people? 🤦🏼♀️

Do you know if they have decaf iced coffee?
bacon and egggggggggggggggs
Great review - y'all do good thorough reviews together. I wasn't impressed w/my Ohana dinner in 2018. Rushed horribly, chewy chicken, just meh. We did enjoy the breakfast.
And your microphone is small too. Maybe you're growing Fiasco!
3 to 4 minutes of a wait time is too nit picky. Consider walk time from the table to kitchen and then back.
They forgot my biscuits. 😕
For the Horde! LOK'TAR OGAR!
Zug zug

Totally wrong but the old ohana its the best restaurant on property period
Like # 778!!!

Two years ago you are for sure wrong on value- all you can eat chicken beef shrimp etc , so yeah, you’re for sure wrong
