Great video. Just liked and subscribed. Can you list the parts list? Thermostat, clamp size, bolt size (in case I snap one), gasket. Ty, great instructions.
What would be a good ace hardware replacement for those housing bolts. Both mine have snapped? Also, my fan switch pigtails has snapped off. What was his fix on that a see a red someing in the switch? Thank you
The fitment should be exactly the same. Only thing that may differ is the temperature range of the Eunos thermostat. My Eunos ran cooler than my other Miatas. I suspect that it had a different temperature thermostat in it.
Coolant for the Miata should be green. depending on brand (sometimes yellow or blue). The pink that you may have noticed in the video would be the washer fluid in the washer reservoir.
A bunch of gasket seal all over my thermostat I just bought the car not sure what the other owner did but my car overheats if I don’t have the ac on so I don’t think the sensors working
Love these longer style instructional videos! Nice work!
Thanks 😊

Is the mx5 1.6 thermostat same as 1.6 eunos

What kind of air intake is that? I like the scoop and how the tubing goes under instead of over top.
It’s a Jackson Racing “Power Pulse” intake for the 1.6L Miata.
Great video but I am concerned about torque on the bolts. Why not use a proper wrench?
why do have pink coolant? green right?

How'd you get this resolved? I'm having a similar issue
What is that long intake?
It’s a Racing Beat “Power Pulse” cold air intake system.
Wish I could say mine is easy but I did the coolant reroute and the bolts are much longer so a bitch of a job.
