I was looking for exactly this. Good job. I was trying to learn how to play this on the piano and thought "this might be easier on a violin or a guitar or something. I wonder if there's anything on youtube..."

Ooh Interesting. I'm not sure which is easier. there are a lot of chromatics in this songs, and I learned it by downloading the sheet music for piano on Ninsheetmusic. Here's the link and then scroll down to Super Mario 64 ultimate koopa.

@@Tyler_Kwak I use synthesia and .midi files. You can just rip the sheet music out of a .midi file with anvil studio.

Im no musician nor do I play the violin.. but from my perspective that looks extremely difficult, sounds very very good though! After 3 years now do you think you have improved on this song? (:

I have not improved a single bit since I don't normally play this song lol. Mostly I play songs by Lindsey Stirling or other video game soundtracks that's easier when I street perform. This one is so hard because they have chromatics. basically a chromatic is a scale with all 12 notes and the final 13th is an octave or a higher version of the first note. So it's like using all the white and black keys on the piano, but on an instrument with no frets. So every small phrase will have a different finger pattern throwing off the playing unless you really nail down the muscle memory and also has random bow crossings from one string next to another. It even has parts that forces you to cross over 2 strings so the arm movement has to be precise. For me though I never took private lessons so I'm WAY behind on technical skills. Only did orchestra from 4th grade to 12th grade and practiced at home.
