This video does not contain any paid partnerships or sponsored products. I took the microbiome test myself and am pleased to highlight small Estonian companies. 🙂

This was so interesting! Would love more of these videos as I am on a big health journey at the moment. I am also working on gut health with a nutritionist and this video gave me lots of inspo ❤

Thanks! I'll definitely include more health-related content, as I'm on a health journey as well, just like probably all of us are, because a healthy mind and body need nurturing all the time. That's good to hear!

Thank you! I'm also really interested in nutrition and taking care of my body and mind, especially because I didn't really focus on my health in my late teens and early 20s. Welcome!🩵

Can’t wait to try this bread recipe! I make the fermented buckwheat bread recipe you made a while ago and is my favorite. This looks delicious as well. Always look forward to your videos.

Always find your videos interesting, informative, and beautiful. The food you make is gorgeous and looks incredibly appetizing on a plate. My diet echoes yours, so I find your recipes of special interest and have made many of them. I will try the flaxseed bread next for sure. Thank you!

Thank you! I have many fails in the kitchen as I try to "healthify" too many recipes. But I try my best to cook my meals and eat healthily as often as possible. I would recommend checking out the original flaxseed bread recipe I added in the description. It has a video and everything. :)

Hi and welcome! 💙Thank you! I do try to live a healthier lifestyle for many reasons. I do use plastic-free tea bags because I am aware of the microplastics issue as well. I remember watching a BBC short documentary about it years ago, and since then, I've been very picky with my tea 😀. But I also use a lot of loose tea. Thanks!❤

The flea market finds are gorgeous, particularly the chopping board! Have you read Food for Life by Tim Spector or Ultra-Processed People by Chris Van Tulleken? They are both on my list to read soon as they talk about diversity and quality of food. I’ve also been trying to diversify my diet although you seem to be a lot more successful so far. I can’t eat gluten so will give the flax seed bread a try, thanks for the recommendation! Can I ask why you take a magnesium supplement? I’ve been thinking about adding it to my routine so like to hear other peoples experiences :) (also I’m a new subscriber and very impressed that your trilingual I assume with English, Finnish, Estonian - I struggle with learning just one extra!)

    • @idyllineverydaylife
      @idyllineverydaylife  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Thanks! I haven't, but I googled Tim Spector and he seemed really interesting. If you make the flaxseed bread, I encourage you to follow the original recipe - I added the link to the description. I take Magnesium glycinate for better sleep, but not every day.
Yes, I speak three languages, but my Finnish is the weakest! 🙂 I learned Russian at school as a third language, but never used it, so I've forgotten all about it. Estonia is small, so we often need to speak other languages to research or study new things. I've also worked and studied abroad. Even though I write my own subtitles, I use AI programs to double-check my grammar since I can't edit them later! 😊

Thanks! Yes! The Ayurveda diet is rich in fiber and uses numerous herbs and spices. Each spice and herb contributes to the diversity that the microbiome thrives on. I believe that fiber and variety are key factors for a healthy gut! 💚

Thank you! I added the link to the description just now. It's an Estonian company Elsavie (elsavie.com/en/home/main) and they have only one microbiome test called Gut Secrets. I think the test can be ordered in English within the European Union countries.

Lovely video Sandra! A new subscriber here originally from Northern Italy (Padova), but more than two decades living in the Netherlands (my hub is dutch). I have been to Finland a few times and also once in Tallin. Such a nice city! Are you originally from there or somewhere else in Estonia? I haven´t watched any other of your videos, but I assume you live in Finland....for love?? Just wondering! ;-) Greetings from the lowlands🌻☺👋

Hi! I just recently visited Padova, as I was living in Soave and studying in Verona for 3 months with Erasmus in spring 😊 I am from a small town in Southern Estonia, and I travel there very often, as it's not far away. I live mostly in Finland with my boyfriend who is Estonian but is working here. So one could say for love 😀

Thanks! I've read that too, but I use the Finnish brand Fiskars, and this particular pan has PFOA/PFOS-free non-stick coating, so I hope it's better. However, I have an eye on another Fiskars pan that has a ceramic coating.

Thanks! The Mediterranean diet is very healthy, and I try to follow its principles the most! Yes, it was only 6€, and I have one at home but in a different color. It's an Ib Laursen bowl, and you can buy it from places like Amazon or the Fine Nordic e-store. 🙂

Could you share your mayo recipe as I can no longer have anything acidic so no regular mayo.

    • @idyllineverydaylife

I blend 125g of soaked and drained cashews, 1dl cold water, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp Dijon mustard, 1 tsp of garlic powder, and 1/4 tsp salt together in a good powerful blender until it's creamy. I think it does taste like mayo 🙂
