    Is it possible to reduce the reset length and lighten the trigger poundage?

    • @BlackBearOutdoors
      @BlackBearOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am not sure exactly what gets improved by it, but I know HKParts does a match trigger spring kit for it. Thanks for supporting our channel!

    • @asdfghjk2933
      @asdfghjk2933 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, but unless you want to send it to a gunsmith for hundreds of dollars, you're gonna have to go with an aftermarket trigger. I personally prefer the lazy wolf combined with HKparts match sear spring (stock TRS). You get a 3.5lb pull with similar takeup but a MUCH shorter and crisper break as well as a shorter reset. It's amazing.

    • @__-pl3jg
      @__-pl3jg ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@asdfghjk2933 - Thanks. I ended up going with the MCarbo kit which replaces the return spring and sear spring. It lowered the poundage and still has the factory trigger pull which is fairly crisp compared to everything else I've used (Glocks, Springfield Armory Hellcat, M&P, etc). One of these days I'll have to try out the Lazy Wolf trigger replacement to see how much better it is. I wish more people would make accessories for HK pistols like they do for Glocks. That HK VP9 is sooooo much better in every way than any other pistol I've ever owned. Straight out of the box it's ready to go. With Glock you've got to adjust all kinds of stuff before it's acceptable.

    • @asdfghjk2933
      @asdfghjk2933 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@__-pl3jg Very nice, I think the Mcarbo spring kit uses pretty much the exact same parts as the HKparts version. I agree, the VP9 is a fantastic pistol. My favorite by far. I wouldn't trade it for any other striker pistol out there.
      The stock VP9 trigger especially with the springs you have is amazing but, It's soooooo worth the upgrade. I have a short on my channel showing the break and reset of the lazy wolf trigger if you're curious.

    The difference between the the Glock trigger and a PPQ is the difference between the Grand Canyon and an ant hill. The VP9 is right there with the PPQ. The Glock should not have been mentioned. They suck!
