My best friend (Bryson) and I used to play apex everyday together, I gave him my PS4 so we could play games together. He used my account and just changed the name to his own. Played on this console for many years, and it ended up getting stolen by one of his room mates, so I ended up giving him a PC because that's what I played on for the most part besides apex, I played on xbox, and he wanted one, also I had a prebuild just sitting. A little over a year ago, he passed away, and I no longer play the game. It just doesn't feel the same without him. But every once in a while I got a urge to play, but didn't. I couldn't fathom playing a game without my boy. But one day, I got news that cross progression had happened, and I could finally have my account on PC (8 or 9 heirlooms). Well, since cross progression takes all of your accounts, and Bryson played on my console, I also got his account. It was surreal, seeing his username pop up again, seeing his stats, and everything. I still don't play much, but at least I'll always be playing with my boy when I get on! Love and miss you Bryson! Hope you're doing great up there!
