I have so many great memories of the action theatre! All the movies like James Bond 007: License to Thrill. After that they introduced 3D stuff like Dino Island. Then it was the 7th portal with Stan Lee, Elvira’s superstition, and the SpongeBob squarepants ride. I never understood why they stopped using the Fx theatre because I think it would still be a popular attraction to this day.
The reason is there’s asbestos in the building which is time consuming and expensive to remove/clean up

Does it seem like Moosehorn is taking a lot longer to build! The waterpark has been open 5 weeks(ends), and we are almost in July. I think parks need to start construction sooner, rather than (it will take this long to build). Its not just CW, but all parks. It seems like the New Attractions is not ready for park opening, or water park opening. And, we are building more elaborate attractions.

Did you see the wide tunnel dug out under wonderland mountain?? I was just there for three days, got myself a fast lane plus yesterday and got onto 37 coaster rides!!!! Lapped a bunch over and over, hit up Leviathan 16 times LOL !!! What a great time 😎 it was the best day I’ve had in at least 15 years. No joke! I’m wondering if wonderland is getting a B&M wing , id rather see an invert, OR better yet, an Intamin , maybe a Mack Spinner??? ALSO they NEED to RMC the spine buster!! I have ideas hahaha 😂 sending good vibes from Winnipeg, wish I wasn’t back so soon! I gotta go get a job at wonderland lol
Brendon, I'm sorry to hear you're still unwell. Be aware (I'm letting you know, now, that this is not a joke) that if your cough persists for 3 more weeks, you should get yourself checked out for Walking Pneumonia. I hope it's gone soon, and that you're up and enjoying the park again.
The blue vacuum trucks? Are frequently used in sensitive areas to dig holes for pilings and footers. They use a water jet to loosen up the dirt and rock and suck it up out of the hole. Do not be surprised if you see rebar cages dropped into them later and then filled with concrete.

Maybe they plan to remove half of the action theatre for storage/future attractions and the other half to continue to use it for Spirit Manor. Or they plan to move The Ruins into the other half of the theater. They did say in the press release earlier this year that there will be 8 mazes all-together (one being new apparently). Last year they had 7, so by that assumption either no mazes are being removed or an old maze is making a comeback, so it wouldn't considered new.
Amazing construction update as always, really wonder how the coaster will look. Wonder if there is still a possibility of Wonderland utilizing a part of the mountain basement for the queue and then moving outwards into the outside station? 🤔
there was actually only 5 mazes last year.
dark ride, ruins, crypt, manor and stalkers.
the rest were all scare zones.
going back to 8 would be sweet.
@@heavynoodles8331 The park also considered Necropolis and Trick or Treat Street as mazes too, although they were outdoors/smaller/open concept, so that would be 7 total

I would be hoping something around 70mph. That is a big enough launch to get some height and premier is capable of that because that is Full Throttles launch speed.
It would have to be at least 70mph to shoot out the top of the mountain
I've said for years that it's time to demolish action theatre at Kings Island and needs a major flat ride maybe like a tundra twister type ride

Have you seen the blue prints to know the layout because you said it was out on the construction site the other day and you had to block it out.

Action theatre xtreme sky flyer what’s next shockwave flight deck retiring great ride I know it’s for project 2025 but take the least popular rides in that area not the best ones

scare zones are no where near as good as classic mazes.
R.I.P. sci-fi house, bloodshed and streets of the undead.
