@@cruelworldhappymind Nightshade is natural. Ebola is natural. Lava is natural. Come now friends! Let us mix the cocktails of natural and live forever!
I always remember this story my coworker told me. She’d gotten her eyelashes tinted at a lash bar, with organic products. She had a terrible allergic reaction in both eyes. When she went to the doctor, her doctor was like, “Yeah, you shouldn’t put anything like that near your eyes.” She said, “But it was organic!” And her doctor said, “So is dirt, but you wouldn’t rub dirt in your eye, would you?” This helps remind me that just because something claims to be “organic” or “natural,” it does not mean that it is necessarily healthy or safe. The fact that I have to remind myself of this regularly illustrates the strength and power of the messages we receive via advertising, marketing and packaging from companies trying to get our money.
Exactly. Hell, nature's one of the deadliest things out there! Nature kills people all the time! That we're programmed to believe natural = safe just goes to show how utterly separated from it we've become. Nature was so dangerous we built cities to escape it.
I definitely agree. And essential oils can be used in skin care you just absolutely have to know how to dilute it properly and know what you're mixing with it
@@melodicatyto That’s a hashtag I don’t ever see being used seriously 😂 some psychopath running around screaming “have you made life?!” At women and if they say yes he stabs them.
Everytime I hear "cleanses/detoxes your digestive system" my brain automatically translates that to "will give you diarrhea like you've never had before".
From what I understand, drugs/teas/etc that claim to “detox” are bs overall because the human body naturally detoxes itself. Unless your body somehow is unable to naturally detox, these things are a total scam 🙃
Hi! I’m a licensed esthetician, and I would recommend not using anything with fragrance or essential oils that makeup more the 1% of the products (less than the amount of preservatives) and avoiding it all together if you have sensitive skin. So 30 drops I would say is at least 5-10%?? Yeah absolutely not! That’s going to cause tons of sensitivity and dilute the sunscreen so much that it’s not effective.
I have a doctorate in oils, and 30 drops is not good. I could use sophisticated terms, but I will keep it simple so everyone understands. Its not good!
@@jinettebright2741 They do, in extremely small quantities. Essential oils are not necessarily bad, but people tend to not dilute, not dilute enough, over use, or inappropriately use pure essential oils due to not understanding just how concentrated they are (among other reasons). People also seem to have this misconception that people and animals cannot be allergic to or have adverse reactions to essential oils because "they're natural".
"There are so many chemicals in everything now days." "Yes. That's because everything is a chemical." THANK YOU. So many "anti-chemical" people these days... Excuse me?
I’m pretty sure what people mean by that is synthetic/artificial chemical compounds in food and drugs-i.e. aspartame, certain color dyes, additives like corn syrup or artificial methods of preservatives-which are worse for you than natural chemical compounds, are bad for immune health, and in general make those with a weak gut ill (me, sigh). But, essential oils don’t make that shit better... lol.
@@cloveniss7745 Oh, you think, but when you play the "i'm a smartass" card in front of them and say that tomatoes contain glycoalkaloids, they're very surprised to learn about the chemicals in a natural things. Well on facebook anyway. Makes for fun reads.

I swear to God, my dog got sick from my old roommates oil diffuser. We all had the flu a couple years ago and the dog got disturbingly ill around that time. My old boss used scenty at work too. We brought our dogs with us(basically 10 dogs total) and we worked with dogs all day. It made me so uncomfortable.
Cruel World Happy Mind as a police officer in Northern Ireland I’m shocked we haven’t arrested anyone yet for poisoning their family I think they could just get away with it by saying it was accidental
As an asthmatic I wish these oils would just go away. I litterally can't stay in a space where there's a room fragrance of any kind, as it blocks my lungs.
Here’s my question..when making carrot cake: Why not use actual nutmeg??? When you want the benefits of orange and mint..why not just eat an orange or put some mint leaves in your water? For a fraction of the price with much safer “benefits”
The difference is concentration, the amount of the essential oil in one drop is higher than the one in like 10 leaves (this is an example, not a fact). For essential oils you need TONS of the plant. But, i do agree that you should just include the food into your diet because a very concentrated thing at once can also be harmful.
@@saraangel6696 yep that was the point I was making. It’s too concentrated to be safe to bake with and is expensive. Save it for your diffuser if you are into that sort of thing. ☺️
As an herbalist we are taught to cover our hands when we harvest certain plants because the oils present can cause irritation especially when exposed to sunlight. I've developed a sensitivity to lavender, one of the most gentle plants, just because it's so popular I've has to handle more than my body likes so now I wear a mask when I'm gathering and drying them out. And these people who claim to be so sensitive to chemicals are out there slathering and ingesting these super concentrated forms of these plants and claiming health benefits that even folklore would call bs. SMH
@@sharroon7574 I mean, depends on what you've been using them for. Essential oils are not inherently good or bad, it's just companies like these are making up a bunch of irresponsible BS to sell more than people need.

she also has talked about how she doesn’t think women should have the right to abortion, even if it is a pregnancy from S.A. But that’s a whole other story
As someone who is very much against the idea of abortions, this perspective is just so disappointing. Victims have EVERY right to want to terminate a pregnancy they never asked for. Honestly, what other women do with their bodies is nobody’s business, especially another woman with so much influence. I would probably never get an abortion, but I would NEVER judge or actively prevent someone from getting a safe abortion. Women need to stand together to make sure we are doing the upmost to protect one another and children. Sometimes the safest option for a child IS to simply terminate the pregnancy. Who knows what kind of hereditary trauma that baby could be born with and have to go through. That woman could be so traumatized that she can’t even handle being pregnant. Pro-Life should never mean Anti-Woman or Anti-Victim. Hope all the women who have had to make that terribly difficult decision know how proud we are of them, REGARDLESS of why they made that decision.
Every time someone tells me they believe that even women who have gotten pregnant from SA shouldn't get an abortion I almost throw up. You really have to be another level of scum to believe that
OMG 30 drops of essential oils?!?! Even just ONE drop can irritate your skin (like you said, it's a fragrance!) and absolutely NO product sold with essential oils would use more than like 2% essential oils

@@Author.Noelle.Alexandria, when Eucalyptus Oil was mentioned in the video, it is dangerous because it was digested in an infant, and in a concentrated, 100% form. 1% made just for smelling by adults is completely fine, especially when diluted with other product! Just be careful if you are a sensitive type, but that goes for all strong fragrances.
Because people normally use essential oils sparingly so they have started to come up with ways to use more of it and boost sales. Ingesting it and making cleaning supplies and shit like that.
Michelle Brake I second this! You should green screen the blue kitchen behind you in the new house as your backdrop to all videos, would cut down on having to decorate or having to tidy every time you wanted to film a video!
I’m someone who is very into skincare, and essential oils are not good for your skin!! They are basically just fragrance that can cause irritation to the skin!
I watched the rest of the video, and this woman said products from your dermatologist can be full of “Toxins” or parabens. Don’t listen to this woman, listen to your dermatologist. Dermatologists have had years of schooling, not this woman.

The adding oils thing to water always gets me. Why not just put fruit or mint leaves in your water? You can refill it a couple of times and the flavors will still infuse. It's way cheaper and safer (though be careful about the acid in fruit infused waters--it can hurt your teeth).
The sellers gotta come up with new ways to use more oil, so they can sell more oil. Use oil in your bath water, use it in your food, use it on your skin, use it in your hair, wash dishes with it, use it as lube, inhale it directly if you can.
@@starspeculation lol. I once accidentaly put our essential oil that we used in out aroma candle (I like the smell sometimes) in my bath (similar bottle as bath oil and similar smell). I had horrible allergic reaction, my skin was swollen, itching and burning and red. I had problems for two days. I cant imagine telling someone to put this shit in their bath or even into food or drinks! They deserve to be sued.
I also wonder how these idiots that do it do not remember elementary school science where we all learned how oils and water do not mix. My elementary school teacher (I cannot remember what grade) did the most simple experiment by adding some oil to water. We also made imitation lava lamps, or something like that, using oil, water, and food coloring. Also, do they even cook? We can see the water/oil separation when prepare many types of meals.
The oils “cleanse” the digestive system because the body recognizes the oils as something that shouldn’t be in the body, that it’s harmful, so the body does everything it can to get rid of it. So technically it’s “cleansing”.
every time i see a celebrity and especially an actor engaging in such tomfoolery i think back to that one anthony hopkins quote that went something along the lines of "you should never ask actors about their opinions on anything because they're stupid"

Im in a young living Facebook group still from years ago and they are some of the most brainwashed people ever. Someone was asking about remedies for a sore on her kids lip, don't remember entirely, and a few members recommended salt washes and stuff nothing crazy and an admin hopped on saying if anyone posted suggestions again without essential oils being at least one of the remedies they would be removed from the group. Granted I looked at the group rules and you have to mention EOs at least once, it didn't used to be a rule, I was horrified. Everyone in the group loves to try natural remedies first which is what the group started as but now it's being run by brainwashed Karens
I’m a little disappointed ,like many I loved her in spy kids and for a while her husband in btr ,so I hate the fact that they support companies that prey on people like this. Hopefully just like many that support mlm’s she’ll wake up and stop doing this.

Yes! I’ve dealt with so many medical issues and without modern medicine I would’ve died years ago. “Natural medicine” would’ve never cured my ailments and I’m so angry that those awful people keep manipulating those who are so desperate.
Unfortunately its like that with everything. Look at lotions, makeup, medicine, food etc just one company being allowrd to sell would be a lil monopolist lol but im sure theyre all made differently, with different ingredients and different impurities of ingredients WHICH IS THE PROBLEM lol the fact that MLMs are pushing them should be enough proof that theyre not 100% okay to use. Can’t wait to see this. She blocked me on her personal Instagram after I said something about not liking her supporting Young Living and then on her Oil Inspired Instagram she deleted my comment so that only positive comments were left. It’s sad really. I use to love watching her and her husband’s vlogs. Back when they uploaded regularly and before they had kids. I especially liked that they were deeply rooted into their faith. But now most of their vlogs are about them promoting cruises and showing off how much oils they use.
Guaranteed she's deleting and blocking on the Oil Inspired IG - quick look and I didn't see any negative comments. There are a few in the last 12 hours on her personal IG, I'm sure I'll be blocked soon :)
as a Christian I LOVED watching their vlogs because they seemed genuine in their faith and wanting to raise their children that way, but when I watched their cruise vlogs it felt like they where selling me a cruise and it felt wrong.
There’s a TH-camr, Becca Bristow, that I loved watching. She’s a dietitian and I loved her health and food content. Well...she started selling Young Living, bought a huge, huge home, taking all types of vacations, even going to Hawaii because of Young Living. And Young Living is such a shit company, I finally called her out on Instagram (how can you support a company where the former CEO killed his own daughter by pretending to be a doctor?)...and I got blocked. Clearly lacking integrity and just in it for the money.
You are not. Essential oils should not be used in place of things like extract or the ingredients themselves, but unfortunately that’s what’s occurring.
I can’t help but find it “ironic” that the essential oil mlm cults main marketing ploy is that people should use natural ingredients and stop using chemical filled products but also encourages people to use essential oils in food.like if your that health conscious why not use real nutmeg.
Essential oils are manufactured as a way to add scents to candles, air fresheners, colognes, soaps and perfumes. They are also added to foods such as breath mints, chewing gum, candy etc. These oils should only be used by trained professionals and not by home cooks.
I think Alexa and Carlos know exactly what they are doing and are using their fan base to be fabulously wealthy and sell a dream to people who have loved them since childhood.
They moved to Hawaii a few years ago and on their social media was basically them living on cruise ships. I feel like they are doing anything to make money because they probably have a LOT of expenses and may be living above their means.
Of course she's telling people to use an outrageously large amount of essential oils.... because it means you go through it faster and have to order more.
When i was a teenager I put peppermint essential oil in my tea attempting to make a mint tea😆 being completely clueless ,I took a sip and it was so disgusting and sour ,my father looked at me like “are you insane? You don’t ingest essential oils !”
If you look back at her Instagram, you can see a YL post that she made in July 2019 about a super smoothie that she drank when she was pregnant using essential oils. I repeat, she ingested oils when she was pregnant! This sucks because I loved her in Spy Kids and Carlos in Big Time Rush, and I watched their vlogs when I was in college. It's heartbreaking seeing them caught up in this corrupt company.
Health coach here✋ Never ever apply essential oil directly to your skin. Essential oils only get diluted with a carrier oil like avocado oil, or coconut oil. Essential oils can help acne, but only specific ones like neem oil, but without a carrier oil, these highly concentrated oil can give bad skin reactions and in worse cases, poisoning. Please use a carrier oil any time you want to apply pure essential oils to the skin.
@@someperson5199 hello thank you for your qs. Essential oils in a diffuser is safe when pregnant, but never apply essential oil topically during pregnancy. Remember that just a few drops is all that is needed in a diffuser 3-4. Hope this helps 😊
True but I think that the moisturizer itself probably has oils in it anyways so that would probably dilute it anyways. But not if u put 30 drops obviously LMAO
Yeah I'm 31 and my mom is in healthcare, so I always had her as a "is this serious or a rash" reference. Now, anything that happens to me, I need to intermittent fast and rub oils everywhere.
I am going to disagree with your sentiment that she is "charismatic". When she's shilling these products (whether in video or text) I get so much cringy second hand embarrassment. Just the use of stupid words and phrases to try to come across as funny, quirky, and relatable to sell her products, it's just really off putting.
@@CherryBlossomBlyue yeah it took me forever to realize what she was doing because I’ve followed her and Carlos since before big time rush ended when I was in highschool. It’s just how they are.
I actually unfollowed Alexa recently and it’s crazy that this video just now popped up in my suggestions. But my reasoning for unfollowing her was because I began to notice how she and Carlos seemed to be moving more towards the Alt-Right. I was scrolling through Alexa’s following list and noticed that she follows a very concerning amount of Alt-Right politicians and conspiracy theorists with pages filled with hatred, when I checked Carlos’ following list I unfortunately found the same, but not nearly as many as Alexa’s. Now I understand being conservative and being Christian- I mean I’m from the Texas Bible Belt- but these conspiracy pages and public figures are full on white supremacists without the white robes. And both lex and los use their evangelical Christianity and charisma as a facade to make themselves feel better for harboring such hatred.
Right. I’m so dissapointed. I was a huge fan of both when i was younger. I remember watching big time rush, so it’s just sad. Different political opinions are ok, but the people they follow are extreme.
So MLMs are okay to you? But alt right opinions aren't? Imo they're both shitty but the stuff she is advocating for is MLM related not alt right related, the stuff she is selling to people and damaging their health with is MLM related not alt right related. Seems weird to me that you'd need another reason to unfollow lol
Personally, I believe aromatherapy can help with relaxation, sleep, headaches, etc, but that's it, and you always have to be careful when using essential oils and I recommend buying them from non mlm companies. I think the best way to use essential oils is diffusers, preferably fan diffusers rather than heating diffusers.
Of course! Anything that helps you relax or sleep is good for your health, because it helps reduce anxiety and helps you get regular sleep! :) I agree with you 100%. I personally love ASMR videos, they relax me and put me right to sleep. But someone else it won’t do anything to, doesn’t mean it isn’t helping my personal well being. It just isn’t a replacement for my medical conditions that require medicine or treatments.

For 31 she looks way older than she should... she should avoid putting those oils on her face, I think that’s really bad for the skin. it has no benefits when you think about it and should be used for making scented candles....
She doesn't have enough body fat for her frame. I'm not skinny shaming, she's unhealthy and old looking because there's no fat to fill her face so wrinkles are deeper and her eyes and cheeks are sunken in.
“If learning about scams is your jam, stay tuned” 😂😂 And honestly, I like having you just sit down to be personal, having a backdrop or a white wall behind with a filming studio isn’t necessary. If it makes you more happy to film with a studio, more power to ya. I just like having a good ol fashioned sit-down with you. Love you and your videos 💕
Aw I love that!! 🥰 and thank you no matter what I like the non-studio look (natural lighting and a casual background) so I’ll definitely stick to that regardless!
TH-cam suggested this video so it's my first video of hers I'm watching. But I feel like I'm sitting down with a friend and just packing off about the idiotic stuff happening in the world.
My mom also "sells" (she never has buyers. She just buys more for her collection.)Young Living oils. I've tried showing her proof that this company is trash, but she is so indoctrinated that she thinks it's a lie. She also eats the oils every day, and would regularly give them to us to consume and use when we were children. True natural remedies are so much more complicated than just rubbing essential oils all over yourself! If you really wanna give natural remedies a try, you have to seriously study herbology. Different parts of a plant do different things at different growth stages.
I haven’t even finished the video yet, but I wanted to say that I unfollowed her because she claimed she was eating this while PREGNANT. Then I saw on Twitter that she follows tons of shady accounts and I’ve never looked back. It’s so sad because I was such a fan of her and Carlos. What they’re doing to their following is honestly disgusting. EDIT: I think you should do a follow up. The reality of their nastiness is even more disheartening. First of all, they gained more popularity from their FAMILY CHANNEL on TH-cam. Now they pretty much only act in Life Time original movies and follow crazy right wing conspiracy people on their instagrams. Dig deeper, it becomes even more troubling. Greta video, though! I hope no one has been hurt by Alexa’s claims.
If she really just happened to LOVE essential oils, she has the notoriety (and most likely the money) to start an ACTUAL essential oil business of her own instead of a "business" through YL... Then she'd be making money and not preying on vulnerable people...
@@chlorhex6785 No, they're dangerous and a scam mainly because of MLMs touting false claims and making dangerous recommendations. When i was 8 i tried youngliving's peppermint essential oil because i thought it would taste like peppermint candy and ended up loosing my sense of taste for about a month
I’m not a super expert, but I am an esthetician and essential oils in skincare (especially DIY) IS A BIG FAT NOOOOOOOOO!!! Their is a reason why ingredients are listed and measured out exactly. You have no clue how much you are putting in and what effects it will have on your skin. Chemists make these for a reason. To DIY your own sunscreen and put essential oils in it is just a bad idea. Also certain oils can have an adverse effect on your skin while being in the sun. Especially any citrus oils. Exactly what Madison said, essential oils are just fragrance. Our skin ESPECIALLY on our face can be sensitive to fragrance like these. I’m really disappointed that she is trying on push not only the essential oils, but DIYing your own sunscreen. A guy here on TH-cam called SkincareByHyram goes in depth in a video all about fragrance in skincare, I highly recommend checking him out too about this DIY skincare.
It broke my heart seeing her switch to that after her husband finished his season on Dancing with the Stars. I love both her and Carlos but this broke my heart and made me lose respect for them. :( There's nothing wrong with using oils because they can be very helpful but it's all about using them CORRECTLY. And that does NOT including consuming them. If you're an adult and want to make those decisions for yourself, by all means learn from your mistakes but DON'T GIVE IT TO YOUR KIDS! Also... instead of putting nutmeg oils in your baking.... BUY NUTMEG. You can either buy ground nutmeg or buy it fresh and grind it yourself in a spice grinder.

A few years ago I added about 5 drops of ylang-ylang to my bath and about 2 minutes in I jumped out because I felt my skin was chemical burning! I felt deceived: those oils can be SO acidic (or whatever the scientific term is.) My skin was bright red so I showered it all off with Cetaphil and then it took a few hours to calm down. I never should've cheated on Mr Bubble.
Honestly, I can totally understand accidentally doing that. Makes sense right?, since there’s so much water. You probably now by now, but to anyone else reading along - essential oils only actually dilute in the presence of other oils, and therefore need something neutral as a “carrier”

My favorite response to "omg chemicals" is this image that has a really long list of scary-sounding chemical names and formulae, and it's literally just all the natural components of a pineapple.
Love your videos. Thank you! Also, Hyram would have plenty to say about the “enhanced moisturizer,” none of it good. The essential oils are super intense and irritating, and in a moisturizer that you leave on your skin, that’s not good. Also, it isn’t safe to consume essential oils.

We asked her why she didn’t just use fresh lemon, or even like a squeeze bottle or juice, and she was just like “well the oil is good for you”. Fortunately we convinced her to stop doing it, but I shudder to think of all the people that do/think the same way but don’t have people around them to talk sense into them.
It's mind-blowing that the people who are like "essential oils are good for you because they're natural" will then be like your auntie and not just *use a lemon??* The actual literal lemon has to be more natural than the essential oils! So weird. Glad she listened to you!

'She's aged beautifully' - SHE'S 33 NOW! I just looked it up and was shocked, because she looks so much older, like a mature woman, and the girl is just 33!
I was literally just studying this! I'm looking into making my own (real) skin/body care business and I was researching safe practices. I'm not an expert, but from what I know, you don't want to mix things into normal skincare. Those have been very carefully crafted by professionals with masters degrees, so if they would benefit from essential oils, they'd be in there. You're messing with the pH, the chemical balance, etc. ESPECIALLY with SPF. Any homemade SPF stuff is going to be bullshit, without a doubt. Also, thirty drops is INSANE for that little pot. If you want a scent in it, fine, it's going to irritate most skin types to use essential oils but it might not do that to you. But use the ABSOLUTE MINIMUM. That will lower the risk of it irritating your skin. And, I repeat, don't mess with SPF. Trust cosmetic chemists.
asbolutely love the whole concept of "it's natural so it's good for you". aight imma just go ahead and throw out my labortary-made, scientifically-backed skin care and head out real quick to rub myself with some poison oak and ingest some fly agaric
from what ive been reading, essential oils actually make you prone to sensitivity overtime if being applied to face. Our face is soooo thin and the more we put on it the more sensitive it will become overtime.

I always remember this story my coworker told me. She’d gotten her eyelashes tinted at a lash bar, with organic products. She had a terrible allergic reaction in both eyes. When she went to the doctor, her doctor was like, “Yeah, you shouldn’t put anything like that near your eyes.” She said, “But it was organic!” And her doctor said, “So is dirt, but you wouldn’t rub dirt in your eye, would you?”
This helps remind me that just because something claims to be “organic” or “natural,” it does not mean that it is necessarily healthy or safe.

So 30 drops I would say is at least 5-10%?? Yeah absolutely not! That’s going to cause tons of sensitivity and dilute the sunscreen so much that it’s not effective.

Oh so she’s horrible. Man im sad now. I loved her. I wanted to BE Carmen😂

Never ever apply essential oil directly to your skin.
This is super random, so forgive me if this is outside of your wheelhouse. Should pregnant women steer clear of using a diffuser with essential oils?
@@someperson5199 hello thank you for your qs. Essential oils in a diffuser is safe when pregnant, but never apply essential oil topically during pregnancy. Remember that just a few drops is all that is needed in a diffuser 3-4. Hope this helps 😊
@@kairioblivion6544 thank you so much! This was very helpful.
I hope the year ends well for you and yours
True but I think that the moisturizer itself probably has oils in it anyways so that would probably dilute it anyways. But not if u put 30 drops obviously LMAO
Health coach? 😆
Self proclaimed, that is!
You run the same type of scam as a life coach, unless you've been medically trained. So please 🤫
I just honestly feel so bad for the children of the huns
Yeah I'm 31 and my mom is in healthcare, so I always had her as a "is this serious or a rash" reference. Now, anything that happens to me, I need to intermittent fast and rub oils everywhere.
I am going to disagree with your sentiment that she is "charismatic". When she's shilling these products (whether in video or text) I get so much cringy second hand embarrassment. Just the use of stupid words and phrases to try to come across as funny, quirky, and relatable to sell her products, it's just really off putting.
Agreed, she is an actor lol
Well I've watched their channel, and that's just her.
@@CherryBlossomBlyue yeah it took me forever to realize what she was doing because I’ve followed her and Carlos since before big time rush ended when I was in highschool. It’s just how they are.
Yeah I thought calling them charismatic was generous.
Yeah, it was the fake dropping the amber jar to look ~clumsy~ that did it for me. 🙃
@@kate1kate Omg I didnt even realise thats carlos from big time rush wtf
@@micnik3573 same i found out last week
You hit the nail on the head! I unfollowed them for the same reasons. It's totally disappointing.
My husband and I use essential oil mist in our bedroom. It gives off a nice scent and no ingesting is required.
yep! don’t use it around animals though, it’s toxic (even in diffusers or candles).
It just isn’t a replacement for my medical conditions that require medicine or treatments.
thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!!! for commenting this. my cat has been sneezing and i have thought it was allergies since i have been sneezing lately too. only just now after reading this have i realized it's because my aunt gave me this little bottle with a cat shaped wood diffuser for essential oils. it was so cute and it made my room smell good, and i had no idea that breathing it in was hurting my poor animal. i'll stop using it immediately and i hope she doesn't have any lasting side effects from my stupidity.. i've noticed her eye boogers and her sneezes and didn't think anything of it.. can't belive how dumb i am
I love young living and I am not in an MLM. I buy them from someone and they are high quality. What is the problem here
i remember when i saw this like a year ago and i was like “please, not carlos from big time rush”
Lmfao carlos
That's why he looks familiar!
"Its safe to drink cause its natural"
Me: okay, *takes sip of poison ivy water
or ricin, nightshade, arsenic, mercury, etc.
Lemme just go inhale some black mold and ingest some amanota mushrooms, a genus containing the world's most toxic mushrooms. But hey, it's natural!
For 31 she looks way older than she should... she should avoid putting those oils on her face, I think that’s really bad for the skin. it has no benefits when you think about it and should be used for making scented candles....
She seriously looks 45. Wow, I'm shocked
I was thinking the same thing!! She looks way older than that. :(
She doesn't have enough body fat for her frame. I'm not skinny shaming, she's unhealthy and old looking because there's no fat to fill her face so wrinkles are deeper and her eyes and cheeks are sunken in.
She basically wrecked the sunscreen with the oils
@@californiadoll6273 I agree 😭
“If learning about scams is your jam, stay tuned” 😂😂 And honestly, I like having you just sit down to be personal, having a backdrop or a white wall behind with a filming studio isn’t necessary. If it makes you more happy to film with a studio, more power to ya. I just like having a good ol fashioned sit-down with you. Love you and your videos 💕
Aw I love that!! 🥰 and thank you no matter what I like the non-studio look (natural lighting and a casual background) so I’ll definitely stick to that regardless!
@@cruelworldhappymind Why not invest in a green screen?
TH-cam suggested this video so it's my first video of hers I'm watching. But I feel like I'm sitting down with a friend and just packing off about the idiotic stuff happening in the world.
Even if the 30 drops of oil didn’t give you a rash, it DEFINITELY makes that spf worthless
WAIT we are talking about alexa from spy kids but the real tea is that a BIG TIME RUSH member is pushing mlm with her!!!
@Maverick Lanzerotti Don't forget Logan , l mean .....
Nothing pisses me off more with mlms than when someone with strong media presence pushes this crap. Use your influence for something good dammit
This is so true. I can't believe that THIS is what she's using her platform for. Peddling essential oils that anyone can buy from the health store.
My mom also buys but thank God just puts them in her diffuser
Wow she want from actor to selling cheap oils that are dangerous . That's mess up .
I KNOW RIGHT!?!
Their enthusiasm is contagious but needs to be channeled elsewhere. Perhaps their greed overshadows their desire to spread genuine good.
Her husband was my favorite member from big time Rush, so this broke my heart
Same 😔😔😔
If she really just happened to LOVE essential oils, she has the notoriety (and most likely the money) to start an ACTUAL essential oil business of her own instead of a "business" through YL... Then she'd be making money and not preying on vulnerable people...
YES!! Such a good point! 👏👏 it’s a biased passion at the very least’
@@chlorhex6785 No, they're dangerous and a scam mainly because of MLMs touting false claims and making dangerous recommendations. Sure, there were the few "herbal medicine" folks touting them as cures before but they were mainly used as fragrances until the MLMs pushed them front and center like they are now. Essential oils are in a lot of products that people use daily. They're even in Vick's Vapor Rub. There are a lot of businesses and people who use them properly.
Umm ESTHETICIAN IS DEFINITELY AN EXPERT! You go 👏👏 thank you for your expert opinion I really appreciate this informative input!! 💜💜🌟🌟
@@cruelworldhappymind 😘😘
She’s 31????? My mom looks younger than her and she’s 47!!
That’s exactly what I was thinking! She has not aged well at all.
I’m 30 and look like I did at 25. Not a flex. I just stopped drinking booze and eating right. I can tell you right now she’s not doing either of those.
Good for your mom, but she doesn't look 47, she does look 31. And there's nothing wrong with looking your age.
She struggles with an eating disorder. Yall can we stop obsessing about women’s appearances?! Let’s focus on her shilling a horrible company which exploits women instead of debating about a woman’s face wrinkles
@@verybarebones Honestly I dont think so.. Not trying to be mean but she does look in her late 40s. Most 30 year olds I see still look no different to mid/late 20 yr olds. Someone said essential oils can cause aging and seems true for her... Shes a trump supporter and follows right extremist pages so I guess I dont feel too bad for saying that 🤷♀️
Thank you for bringing more awareness to the dangers of celebs using their influence and also getting swept up in the MLM craze (which I think is an issue that barely gets talked about). Omg lol that’s SO TRUE!! Haven’t even thought of that, that would taste terrible!
Actually, in elementary school, my teacher had us roll oranges to loosen the juice then gave us peppermint straws to stick in and drink. It was actually really good 🤷🏼♀️

Report Alexa's ads and sponsored claims to the FTC. I'm not sure how but I'm sure Google can help
You can't do that with all oils, dear
Honestly, I can totally understand accidentally doing that. Makes sense right?, since there’s so much water. You probably now by now, but to anyone else reading along - essential oils only actually dilute in the presence of other oils, and therefore need something neutral as a “carrier”
Thats so sad to hear but hey you learnt new something right.
@@ameliakirahring2336yep, oil and water don't mix.
Watch her TH-cam channel with her husband. I think it’s called LexLovesLos. She is always talking about the oils. I think she even has a room she works in and mixes the oils. In one videos she acts like she has been at work, when she has only been in that room making roller balls. I sent you on Instagram DM that Screenshot of the book she highlighted and a video of her answering a question about another essential oil company and her acting like she didn’t know what it was.
Thank you will check it out!
Pathetic h😆
Essential oils are sensitizing. If you don't have a reaction, you may have one down the line!!!

can you imagine how nasty that would smell if she put ALL those EOs in that jar? oof
I KNOW RIGHT?!???? I don’t get it!
That Spy Kids and Big Time Rush money must be running out.
Love your videos. Thank you! Also, Hyram would have plenty to say about the “enhanced moisturizer,” none of it good. The essential oils are super intense and irritating, and in a moisturizer that you leave on your skin, that’s not good. Also, it isn’t safe to consume essential oils.
Yes love hyram!! Would be so curious to know what he’d have to say!
My auntie is a very ~granola~ type older lady and she mentioned a few months ago that she was out of lemon essential oil because she’s been using it all in her water...her daughter, me, and my sister (a nurse) were all like nooooo please don’t hurt your body that way.
Wait wait wait, she wants me to put orange oil and then peppermint oil TOGETHER and DRINK IT?! 😰
This was my oldest son’s favorite movie!! We even had a “spy” themed party for his 5th birthday. I’m sad to see her go this way, but not surprised. These child actors are used for different things throughout their lives. I hope she does some research and wakes up. Regarding your filming, I like the kitchen behind you! If I were you, I wouldn’t change a thing. :)

Some years ago she spoke about having to deal with an eating disorder when she was a teenager, that lasted about 6 years.
