Muslims are what brought me toward the Orthodox Church. I realized either Christians must put their faith in modern culture to preserve Christian tradition, doctrine, history, and terminology. Or Christians must put their faith in Christ and, by extension, put their faith in the Church. I find it irrational to expect the world to preserve the truth. I think it is irrational to deny the fact that people are subjected to their preferences and tainted by cultural biasis. Knowing that we are falliable, Christians must work together in order to fight the subtle changes in culture that contradict the intentions of the original Church. Almost every Christian is limited in learning and obtaining true unbiased history. So many Christians today pin their whole ideology of God on their own collected knowledge. I do not believe God intended for every Christian to lean on their own understanding because it is a fact that we are susceptible to corruption.

Muslims are what brought me toward the Orthodox Church. I realized either Christians must put their faith in modern culture to preserve Christian tradition, doctrine, history, and terminology. Or Christians must put their faith in Christ and, by extension, put their faith in the Church.
I find it irrational to expect the world to preserve the truth. I think it is irrational to deny the fact that people are subjected to their preferences and tainted by cultural biasis. Knowing that we are falliable, Christians must work together in order to fight the subtle changes in culture that contradict the intentions of the original Church.
Almost every Christian is limited in learning and obtaining true unbiased history. So many Christians today pin their whole ideology of God on their own collected knowledge. I do not believe God intended for every Christian to lean on their own understanding because it is a fact that we are susceptible to corruption.
