I completely agreed with this. It usually happens to me, the reason is only because of using the phone a lot. Even though I'm not using any social media except what's app, but spending a lot of time on TH-cam. May Allah SWT forgive us and renew the Iman in our hearts. Ameen.
Same I'm cought up in TH-cam shorts its like 2 to 3 hours per day I even sacrifice my sleep cuz of this its an alarming situation. I'm am working on this issue now.

Sometimes my brain tells me to stop praying and it mostly happens after my period ends. But i always remind myself of how depressed i was before praying and how praying saved me from ending my life

@A4Effort_5 I think it was the way my mother treated me? She couldn't achieve her dreams so she made me achieve her dreams and it kinda messed me up. Also social media on top of that and online dating in general. Bad influence here and there making me feel like ill never be enough.
I tell you this, turning to God and the Quran is the only once and for all solution, and don't ask for immediate results, see Quran [22:11]. Go against yourself when it tells you not to pray or not to do this and that, and do your best, there will come a time when praying is gonna be the best of things to do for you.
As long as the intention is there and it is sincere, you will get there insha'Allah, see Quran [29:69]
And always don't forget to ask God to not let this life be your greatest concern.

Thank god i came across this vid, i was struggling with low imman and now im motivated a little more
Have this often, and perhaps as 'adhd' more than most... Simple hack i have found very helpful is to set a 'do not disturb' routine with exception for islamic app, finch, namazz app... So allnything that isnt related to building Iman in morning and evening is blocked...this simple trick means allah SWT is the first and last thing on my mind. And fajr is such a beautiful and peaceful time to be focused on zikr ... Because in UK in summer, the rest of the country feels asleep, except my brothers and sisters...and the ever merciful decends to the lowest heaven to hear us, and its so beautiful to feel close...and eventually fall back tosleep in rememberance until its time to get up.... subhanallah.❤❤

I asked my mom about me as a new muslim because All the time She saw me on hijab or even when I started that topic she didnt ever commented about. We were in a restaurant And I was showing her something islamic I bought online. She only told me "honestly I think that is only a phase, in a few months U will not care anymore on that so I am.not concerned". My stomach felt it was like punched. I felt very bad and my Iman immediatly dropped of, specially because I couldnt pray I was on my 1st day period.
