Henk, I have the same problem that you start this video with--I'm getting gas leaking out of the carburetor. In your case, was it the shut off valve that is actuated by the carburetor float, or was it something else? My motor had not been run in 30 years, but it started right up with fresh gas. Hoping to narrow down where to look, although I plan on taking the carburetor off and cleaning it.
Thank you for this video. Do you know if it’s possible to tighten the throttle switch on these motors? Mine will vibrate itself down to idle if I don’t have a hand on it.
Hey, thanks for the video! I am trying to fix mine but on mine it seems like there is a part missing on the cover that is a part of the carborator. It is a small hole straight into the plastic cylinder part where all the gas is dripping out. On yours it seems like there is some kind of ventil... it is located centered under the front cover, do you know what that could be? Feeling lost as there is no such part in the owners manual...
I had one like that, sunk it numerous times and it ran for decades without any trouble.
