    The sub has two line out XLRs for extra amp/speakers.

    I'm getting the Dave10 in a month's time. I've decided on this particular system as it only requires one power cable compared to a pair of active tops (GTA12A)for the same price. Speakon is also significantly more durable than XLR.

      Hey VoyageOne1 did you get your Dave10 system? I am waiting for a Dave12 to arrive but I still think if 2 x active 12 Speakers were better (louder) for about 50 people parties, or maybe Dave15 (but that was too expensive for me). So I was wondering how your Dave10 is. Do you think that it can handle small parties with no problems?
      @Digital DJ Tips Thank you for the review!

    Exactly, Phil. @5:17 is the best advise ever. By the way, i assume that you were talking about something that the subs itself can be hook up to any active stereo monitors to make it as an 2.1 monitor system? Have you tested?

      Hey elvis, a PA system is "public address", and yes it's what is used in clubs for sound :)

    Hiya, I have Rokit 5's G2 for DJing at home in my studio but am not happy with the sound / volume. I am looking at the Rokit 7's as an upgrade but wonder if a LD Dave 10 would be better. Thoughts?

    • @digitaldjtips
      @digitaldjtips  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You'd have to hear them first. LD Dave 10 would certainly to most people's ears not sound in any way "better" than the Rokits, its advantage is that it is an "all rounder" that can be used for home and the occasional party etc.

    Is this the system James Hype uses as monitor?

    • @digitaldjtips
      @digitaldjtips  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      James uses in ear monitors and mixes completely in headphones

    very interested in this system phil, would the dave 10 be ok for pub gigs for up to 50/60 people max, music played would be top 40 hits from the 1950's till present.

      Digital DJ Tips looks like an ideal little system what’s the bass response like, as really want to get the Dave 10 for small mobile gigs and birthday parties etc.

    • @digitaldjtips
      @digitaldjtips  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Best to try it in person if you can, it should be absolutely fine for your purposes but at the same time sound is very subjective

    Hi would this speakers be ideal for parties in halls or is it not loud enough?

    • @digitaldjtips
      @digitaldjtips  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends entirely on the size of the hall but most likely yes, they're great value for money

    I think the 10" is better for home use because it does not have a fan. The 12" has a fan.
