Yes such a great classic looking card. Nothing special about it but that kind of look gives the old cards their charm and when you had a special looking card you knew it was important

Honestly, from this set im most excited for the new mako cards. Mako's entire playstyle hyped me up so much as a kid and loved the monsters he used. Seeing them be reworked and reintroduced in a way that makes them viable in the meta is honestly so call. Definetly going to buy myself a booster box of this set when I get the chance!

I'm excited for Kairyu-Shin and the supporting cards for them due to the fond memories I have with YuGiOh World Championship 2008 on the DS, where he's a duelist you can play against!
Excited for Fish Sonar! I play Phantasm Spiral and it helps search out the normal water monsters instead of having to use Fossil Dig! Finally some support for an almost forgotten archetype :).
Would like the BOX, really liking the Water monsters, so iconic.
Favourite card would probably be Ocean Dragon Lord- Kairyu-Shin.

Update for Legendary Duelist sets for TCG: Last year, we did not get the Leo/Ishizu Legendary Duelist set from OCG since they were separated for Magnificent Mavens and Power of the Elements for TCG. However, this August will be the return of Legendary Duelist with Soulburning Volcano which will have Salamangreat, Battlin' Boxer, and Volcanic support

Idk why man but the legendary fisherman has always been one of my favorites. IT always resonate with me since my dad and i use to go fishing as a kid, man those days.
What I'm most excited for is forbidden but I'm also hoping to build a marincess deck. Always liked the water themed deck

Mako has always been one of my favorites. I had a Water deck as a kid, with Legendary Fisherman and Orca the Megafortress of Darkness! Very nostalgic, and I think I am actually most excited for Doom Kraken haha, its effect is reminiscent of its appearance in the show.

Cool as forbidden droplets is, I'm excited for the marincess spell, unless I missed a spell in an earlier set, this gives more plays to Marincess Sea Angel outside of being just a marincess terraforming
I knoe this this two years old but im getting back into yu gi oh. Rebuilding my collection by getting childhood favorites for character decks. I kept my best decks but i didnt have much cards. It seems yu gi oh is cheaper now at least since i used to to buy packs when i was in middle school and younger. Now i can get 10 cards for 3 dollars of this set at walmart if i got a few bucks to spend or I cna order this fun set box for only $30 on tcgplayer to build my mako deck! So far I loved the 8 packs I've opened of this set. The legendary duelists set for yu gis dark magicians was awesome too i almost have every card in both of these sets. I like how easy it is for me to be able to try to collect a whole set
I’ve piloted Marincess for a while now and I’m excited for them to get nasty with their new support. Aqua argonaught is a badass new monster. Marincess dive and coral triangle are incredible consistency cards.
Seeing the legendary fisherman again is really cool. Also gotta love another printing of droplet.
The cards I most excited from this set is Legendary Fisherman, Kairyu-Shin, and Jellyfish. Because those are the most iconic monster from Mako deck from original Yu-Gi-Oh! series. Now, the artwork are amazing and beautiful. WOW!!
I love that they are giving the Marines archetypes more cards but most excited for the droplets!

I enjoy seeing the legendary fisherman card. Tons of reprints for it but the nostalgia is always a great feeling.
That Forbidden Droplet is nice but Nostalgia gets me every time and Legendary Fisherman excites me.
The card I am most interested in this set is Forbidden Droplets. Trying to get more competitive but also trying not to break the bank. I've thought about building a shark deck and trying it out but haven't gotten around to see what a decklist would look like in today's format.
Haven't played a game of Yu-Gi-Oh in like 6 years but I still enjoy this dude crackin packs lol

Ocean Dragon Lord - Kairyu-Shin Is my most hyped card from this set. You can put up a pretty formidable lock with him while using the rest oh the Kairyu-Shin cards. True Mako style.

the amount of low rarity good cards in this set is really surprising, common buzzsaw shark, silent angler, torrential tribute but I'm most excited for the rare Bahamut Shark!!

I built a deck based on Shark/Nash a few years ago as he was my favorite character in zexal, so I'm most excited for N.As.H. knight! Slowly but surely improving the Shark Xyz deck

id like to see a legendary duelist set with either rex raptor, bones, masked beast bros, guardian eatos/seal of oricalchos from duel monsters. tyrano hassleberry, professor banners helios, volcanics, arcanaforce/ society of light from gx. psychics, machine skyfire, t.g or luna from 5ds. i believe there are still some strategy's/ characters that havent been touched in forever that can use an update but still hold the nostalgic factor for another set.
I'm kinda stoked for tye ghost rare but also love seeing classics like legendary fisherman! The nostalgia!

On my side of people I know, they don’t like Yugioh, and I never grew up with Yugioh, however getting into it was the best decision I made. As I comment this I bought myself packs from the same set, and I’m exited to officially own Yugioh cards. I’m also glad a number of people still like Yugioh. Thanks for the video man!

What they did with the duelist pack for the holiday box is unusual, but similar to what they’ve done with structure decks and other OCG products that the TCG never seems to get. Maybe it’s just some new marketing strategy they’re trying.
Mako was apart of the very first deck I made and dueled with at the age of 10 I'm 28 now turning 29 In august i want this box so bad because everything about this box is my childhood so ofcourse I'm hoping for the fisherman and my whale battleship ( I call him the cruiseship)

i still think we need a Legendary Duelists Jesse Yubel with the Advance Crystal beasts and maybe a Legandary Duelist Suprime king with a lot of new soport for Evil Heros and Crtstal beasts.

That Droplets is great, but as a fan of the Shark deck, Abysss Shark is probably my favorite card from this set

Forbidden Droplet was probably the only card I really wanted from this set, other than that ghost rare. Like, it’s a good set but I’m not building water decks. Though my friends want the marincess stuff so I’d love to get it for them if I could

Hey guys I need some advice here. I wanna make a Yugioh collection starting by getting as many starter decks as I can. The thing is that I plan to buy two of each one of them, the first to have it as a collection deck and the second one to display en expose the cards, but I'm not sure how to display them, whether in a folder or in a deck box with their respective protective sleeves of course. What do you think is the best way? I also thought of just taking the foil cards from the second copy of the starter deck in a binder, after all the foil cards are the most eye-catching to display anyway.

Forbidden droplet is my single favorite card from this set. Needed a more budget friendly reprint. That said. Overall I’m excited for the shark support as it looks really fun to play

Definitely love the Mega Fortress Whale since I’ve always been into aquatic animals and love to make a deck based around them. The artwork for the whale is absolutely amazing and really makes it pop.
I think this could potentially be the last new LD set but i think there will be more mixed sets of LDs. like legendary duelist season 2 or 3 and that sort
