You are not alone (Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.) (Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.) (Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.)

I’ve prayed for so long for God to let me find a woman that would like to be with me, and over time I’ve felt like I’ve grown closer and closer to the Lord. I have lost hope many times, but I always seem to find it again and each time I have brought me closer to the Lord. Now instead of just praying for God to let me meet a woman that wants to be with me, I’m praying that He help me meet a woman that loves and worships and fears Him, and that if it His will for me to be in a relationship that He will be in the middle of it. And even if I never end up in a relationship I know that God will always want me and that one day He will take me home to be with Him. As long as the Lord is with me and as long as I’m with Him then that’s all I really care about.

I feel like this just reminded me of something I forgot for a really long time. God isn’t going to keep things from me just because. He wants what’s best for me. I don’t know when I developed this idea in my head that God doesn’t care about what I want or what’s good for me. I feel so much better. I don’t know if marriage is what’s good for me but I’m so excited that for this and for all the things I ask for God wants to give me what would be best for me. The things He withholds are to my benefit. Thank you for making this video.

There are a lot of singles who accomplished great things and led fulfilling lives. The founder of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF), Audrey Wetherwell Johnson, was single and it's because of her Bible study program that I am a Christian today. The apostle Paul was single and he talks about how singleness can help you to have better focus in serving God. There's nothing wrong with being single and there's nothing wrong with being married. God has a perfect plan and perfect timing. God knows exactly what you need! ♥️

Unfortunately, I wanted a relationship & he wasn't ready and I was really hurt because of it. Now I'm not content with being single at all and I want so badly to be like I was before I met him, but it's really difficult. This was encouraging to hear.

When you said "You don't need another man to have a relationship with Jesus" I truly felt that. I've been single for 4 years and got married at 21 and divorced at 23 because I picked the wrong person. These past two years, I've truly have felt that God has punished me because I haven't been following him. But after seeing this video it gives me a different perspective on being single.

The first man left me for someone else and my daughters father died of alcohol addiction. Jesus has reveled himself to me in a mighty way through trials and pain. Not one tear will be wasted as I know the plans God has for me are for good and not evil. Lord thank you for the pain because it’s in our pain where we can be a testimony to others. 🧎‍♀️🙏❤✝️

God gives the best gifts and you don't even have to try so very hard or dress up to the nines or have to go through so much heartaches and frogs. It is always nothing compared to the best God has in store for you.

Btw, I’m actually preferring singleness because I’m having so much time spent with God.

I feel like you. It seems cruel that this would be a desire of my heart and God just says "nah...not for you". Marriage is a good thing. It wouldn't be like me asking Him to help me rob a bank. Lol. I feel Nastasia gave a great point of view on this, but for me it sounds depressing to be alone the rest of my life. Also I think it's easier for ppl who are in relationships/married to say this. No shade to Nastasia or anyone else. I just think it's easier to say this to single ppl when you've found your person. 💛

Hi love, I just wanted to tell you that you are not alone. Many people are in terrible marriages and feel more alone than single people. If none of your relationships have worked God has something better for YOU specifically. Although to get to that, maybe you have to start trusting God to give the desires of your heart. Everything is a process, it takes time in God’s time. It’s not that you are being punished or not doing something right. Maybe God wants you to be closer with with Him. Ask Him what to do and pray about it. My mom is the same age as you and she’s happily divorced since 25 years ago. She doesn’t want a relationship bcs of what she experienced. Point is, God is potentially protecting you from heartbreak and or wants you to trust Him more. Of course, seeing is not believing. Have faith my dear.

@Ashley Mendez Why is it uniformly assumed that a person who desires marriage and who is tired of the pain of prolonged singleness somehow has their spiritual priorities backwards? This kind of response is so common and the implication is always that the fault for not being married lies solely with the single person's supposed spiritual immaturity. As Christians, we are called to grow in the likeness and spirit of Christ. Whether single or married, this is our ultimate goal and purpose because it brings glory to God. God wants a personal relationship with us, through Christ, regardless of our marital status. But so often marital status is made synonymous with spiritual maturity. Spiritual growth is not a means to an end, a quest for a reward, or a trade for what you desire. Rather, it is the living sacrifice of love, obedience, and thankfulness to our Lord for His amazing grace. This is why I am often wary of the assertion that earthly blessings are necessarily attached to spiritual maturity.
Singles often hear the assertion that if they simply focus on their relationship with God and grow in righteousness, a spouse will suddenly appear. I have heard this on more than one occasion and it always rings hollow. This is not because growing in grace and truth is unsound advice, but rather because it is unscriptural to assert that realizing our earthly desires necessarily hinges on spiritual maturity. Spiritual maturity will not guarantee a spouse or health or earthly happiness. I know spiritually mature Christians who have remained painfully unmarried for years upon years (despite longing and praying for a spouse) while other, less mature, carnally-minded Christians already have spouses and are enjoying all the benefits of such a relationship. I've seen Christians who, out of obedience to God, remain virgins into their late 30's and 40's without ever being blessed with a spouse while "born again virgins" are married by 24. I've seen men who have lived lives of sexual excess, pornography addiction, drug and alcohol abuse, become saved (praise the Lord for that) and then get married to beautiful, godly Christian women .... all by age 25. Yet in the same church, their are men in their late 30's who have never had sex, have never been drunk or have done drugs, who have strived to grow in righteousness, but who are never even given a chance at marriage. So they suffer years upon years of loneliness, a lack of intimacy and affection, the fear of never having a family of their own, and the seemingly never-ending battle for sexual purity from which their is no escape and no relief that is not categorically sinful. But the guy who lived most of his life NOT being patient or obedient gets to have the beautiful wife and all the pleasures and joys and blessings that come with it, right? Did that guy have his spiritual priorities strait? Did he learn God's lessons? Was he totally content with God? Why was he not chastised for years of sinfulness? Why was he able to go from a life of wicked sexuality to a life of blessed sexuality without suffering a truly prolonged season of "singleness and celibacy?" I knew a guy who slept with prostitutes regularly. I thank the Lord that he is saved by God's grace, yes. But he was allowed to marry and enjoy a loving, intimate relationship with his wife while unmarried virgins press on in sadness, frustration, and loneliness?
I point out these examples not to denigrate those who have been saved by God's grace nor to question God's goodness, but rather simply to demonstrate the disparity that one would not expect to find if "obeying and loving the Lord" was all that was needed for blessings and earthly happiness. When attempting to comfort singles who are facing the trial of prolonged, unwanted singleness, people will often point to Christ's words in Matthew 6 as evidence that if a person seeks the kingdom of heaven and God's righteousness, all things will be "added to them." However, many Christians starve to death, many are murdered for their faith, many are suffering with terminal cancer, many are suffering domestic abuse at the hands of an unbelieving spouse, and many will live earthly lives of loneliness and sadness that are utterly lacking in certain pleasures, enjoyments, and blessings that are showered upon others who seem to be living more unfaithful lives. Does this mean that God is unfaithful? Was Christ being misleading? Not at all. Rather, it demonstrates that the ultimate fulfillment of Christ's words and God's promises are found in heaven. Spiritual growth and maturity do not guarantee earthly happiness, or health, or a spouse. They do, however, store up a treasure of eternal joy and union with Christ in heaven. 1st John 2:25 says, "this is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life." Until we fully realize this promise in His presence, we must learn to follow Christ's examples and pray "not my will, but Yours be done," no matter how painful or confusing God's will appears to be at the time. And for anyone dealing with the frustration and pain of truly prolonged singleness/celibacy, it is like picking up a bloodstained cross and following Christ. Yet He did, after all, say that true discipleship would be like that ...

Hey! I'm a 16 year old single Christian woman whose been looking to improve my relationship with Jesus over quarantine. I've found your channel recently and it's been helping! I just wanted to ask you a question, this is from a video you posted from 3 years ago, called stop making the first move...while I do agree that being pursued is a beautiful thing and I would definitely want to be pursued over making the first move myself...I just want to know why it's a bad thing make the first move...I understand making the first move every single time and not giving the men time to pursue me is weird but what is wrong with me asking out a guy that I feel shares my faith...no hate, just curious to know your opinion as I share the same perspective on many views with you. Also, I would love you see a video on feminism because while I believe men and women are equal, modern day feminism has turned into villanising men when I know men like my father are the backbone to equalizing the position for girls like me within the family and community. So I would like to see you talk about where you stand on men and women being treated equally in all areas of life. And again, thanks for your videos, highly appreciate a respectful Christian channel which doesn't stray away from the Word.

    • @alyssaray9031

Hey friend, I can give some advice on this that I hope helps! God’s word definitely has things to say on all subjects that the world does not like to hear. Truth and biblical instruction is offensive, because it is from a righteous perfect loving God, and we are sinners who want to naturally rebel against his ways. So there are some things that as a Christian you truthfully cannot support , it does not benefit anyone’s soul or their walk and purpose, for it is not of the Lord but of the devil, which is the ruler of the earthly world. However as a Christian we are called to love others before ourselves including those who are slanderers, murderers, cheaters, thieves, homosexuals, adulterers, etc… we are not called to love their sin and promote it as if it is of God, however we are also not called to tear them down for it and push them away from Christ. The Bible says to consider others before yourself in Philippians 2:3. God loves us even at our worst and wants us to come to him and let him save us. So if he can make us his children and forgive us, wanting us to come to him even when we rebel against his ways, we need to love others the way Christ loves us. Understand loving others does not mean loving (their sin) and telling them that it is okay to sin. Truth is love, the Bible also says in John 8:32; “and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Truth is love, even when you don’t want to hear it. I will say that you cannot expect even a church to be perfect. Just because I am a Christian and others are too does not mean we are not still sinners. Even in Christ we still rebel and we still love to judge others, and turn them away. However being in Christ causes serious conviction for the fruit in our life teaching us to become more like Jesus. Just a reminder people in the church will fail you. People even in Christ will fail you. Family and friends will fail you. We all love to judge and be hypocritical because we love our sin. That is not a reflection on God. I would encourage you to find a church that welcomes you and gives you truth, yes! Just know though that no church is perfect, no person is perfect. People will fail you and judge you. You must get to know God on your own terms and not by the ways of people. God is more than love, he is also a God who hates sin and disciplines his children, so to know God is to also hate what he hates. I hope that helped! Sorry it was long.

No no, though not a believer in celibacy, I WILL NEVER see marriage because a dowry IS REQUIRED! If I had children with a Christian women anyway, what's preventing her from divorcing me, denying me access to the children's formative years, confusing them with her boyfriend arranged carousel?
Schools and the CPS would enforce their exposure to gender choice preferential changes! Jer. 17:9.

@@weirdflex8158 probably because she researched the actual ingredients in a vaccine and that they are not used for good. Especially the one that’s being rushed currently... She is a critical thinker, thank God. She doesn’t take everything she’s told at face value. I support her.
