@@Waretpeople I don’t agree with your comment but if I was you and lived as you then your comment would make common sense, I’m from the other side of the coin and see things and people in a different light. Soon are bigotry will be gone the young know what we went through and see no gain or profit. In reality we are different branches of the same family tree. Religion didn’t start are little war politics and politicians made us what we became, Billy became a number a victim of betrayal by his own kind. I remember an old guy saying when the GFA is signed they will tear each other apart, and both sides did. Future generations will curse us.☘️

@@Darren-yx5en that was stated in a documentary about the feud and Billy Hutchinson stated he and the UVF brigade staff believed Wright was a state agent. I believe David Ervine also publicly gave that opinion. There was one UVF man in mid Ulster brigade who approached Wright about a plan to take out a leading PIRA man in the area and Wright brushed it off and this man believes he took the info to intelligence and was told to leave the PIRA man alone, maybe protecting another state agent? What a dirty war it was.

I also met at the same time, someone i used to play GAA with for Fermanagh, one Tommy Gallagher , of the SDLP, and to say he was shocked to see me in the uniform of the Met Police, was an understatement, but he and Irvine were great to chat to for a few minutes.

Heritage, yes okay , Religion, definitely yes, but unfortunately for a sizeable proportion of the unionist population, Culture consists of putting it to ,their Nationalist neighbours.
In some instances carrying banners/bannerttes emblazoned with individuals who previously murdered innocent uninvolved Nationalists , sometimes merely metres from the spot where the atrocities took place. That is not 'culture' that , cannot and will not stand.
