Back in Grove turf, Jerome tells Dwayne that he needs to make some money - and Dwayne knows where they can get some work. They both go to Ryder who takes them with him to East Los Santos in an attempt to seize a sizeable shipment brought in by the Vagos.

Hey man, I really enjoyed watching playthrough of this mission. I kinda miss this type of missions. Back in the day every second mission in the showroom used to be a low quality GTA crossover, families vs ballas or some other kind of crap. Nowadays, the quality of missions is on another level - it has drastically improved in the past few years, yet nobody designs gta related stuff anymore. However, this mission perfectly captures the atmosphere of old dyom missions, staying faithful to the original gta sa storyline, yet is not just a random grove mission, but a high quality, interesting mission with dynamic gameplay! I kinda wish more people took this approach. With V8.3 being close to full release, having all gta sa animations available, and it's amazing revolutionary feature 'actor animation', combined with AI voiceover - we could finally make some amazing, cinematic, faithful GTA universe crossovers that won't be overlooked - on contrary, people would finally acknowledge what dyom can actually do. And if I ever think of getting back at it, and if I were to collaborate with somebody on this subject, it would definitely be you - among with other talented and reliable designers of course. But you are first on my mind when it comes to some high quality old school GTA universe missions!

Andrej I'll just say it's really nice of you to write all this! The idea of a new DYOM update is always pleasant to hear, and now that you mention the animations - it's definitely one of the major things we all wanna see implemented, because it seems like there just isn't enough variety. The major problem, though - this really should have been done many years ago! I started out in DYOM back in 2016 myself and if it were just the case that Patrick and Duchy maintained development of the mod to at least a limited extent like rolling out an update every once in a year or two, we could have preserved a lot of the community traffic. It feels like DYOM had enormous potential for the mod that it was but it just wasn't pushed passionately enough by the developers, and I really don't mean this in a rude way, just a little disappointed one. I believe you feel the same way to an extent. I've also been saying something for years - the DYOM community still hasn't grown into a culture where it's completely normal and encouraged to share feedback for all designers, no matter their missions seeming good or bad. I believe we lost a lot of great potentially talented designers because of limited support among the community. I agree with the collaboration offer, though! If the idea ever arose to make common crossover missions - I'm down! Once again, thanks for the cool feedback and it's nice to see you here!

Perhaps this mission is one of the best you ever designed, the story and gameplay are engaging to play and enjoy.

Yo how do you remove the ryder actor after the cutscene? And if you can... Could you explain how to do cutscenes where after it ends the actor which for example was sitting starts following you. great mission btw
