    I think I’m gonna try dipping instead of using the mold to form the chocolate. This method looks way easier.

      I made some for the first time this weekend and I wish I watched this video before I started! This method does look like it would be a lot easier for sure, plus you're not wasting as much candy in my opinion. About to try this method here shortly with my leftover dough.

    Thank you for this video :-) i have watched many videos and most look to hard to do. I have made cake pops in the past but watching others who put the chocolate into the moulds first look a little to hard for me. this is easy to do :-) i am making some for easter can't wait

      I’m so happy it helped! This was one of my first attempts at the dip method I actually do a lot of cakesicles in the mold. But lately I’ve been making a lot of cakepops using the dip method and I’m enjoying it. Let’s keep practicing together 🩷

      @@TikasSnackery I have that chocomaker and it didn’t melt mine at all. It was thick and I didn’t use any of it. How does yours melt so easily?

      @@jaev9412 oh man. Maybe you have one that isn’t working. I always have rich creamy chocolate. Possibly try calling Chocomaker about it.

    Do you wait for the chocolate to cool down a little or once it comes out the microwave you dip the cakesicle right away ?

    • @TikasSnackery
      @TikasSnackery  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I let it cool a tiny bit before I work with it.

    Where did you get the divider for the candy melts..the three sectioned one

    • @jessicahughes4270
      @jessicahughes4270 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is why I came to the comments section cause I want to know too, lol! I also want to get some of those silicone beakers; I worked for Hobby Lobby and seen them in the crafts section for resin pouring, but I'm not sure if they're microwave safe or not.

    • @jessicahughes4270
      @jessicahughes4270 ปีที่แล้ว

      Search for chocomaker silicone insert. I'll just go ahead and prepare you before you have sticker shock because it's a pretty pricey accessory! Between $60-70 for JUST the insert! Probably be better off just buying the Wilton melting pot that has the dual divider, but I already have the chocomaker melter so this is going to be a hard decision to make 😂

    I wanted to try this method but i am thinking when you place the cakesicle down does it not srickor mess the bottom of the cakesicle

    • @TikasSnackery
      @TikasSnackery  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I place them on parchment or wax paper, but this is another reason I like the mold method.

    • @jessicahughes4270
      @jessicahughes4270 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This was a "concern" that I was thinking about myself when using this method, but you can always use an exact knife that's heated just a tad to kind of shave off any of the imperfections.
