Hey I've got a similar sewing machine and I'm getting bird nests and tangled bobbin thread when I try to do reverse stitch. Do you have any idea what I'm doing wrong?
That happens to me when if I am starting a stitch and I don’t secure the top and bottom thread. When I start the stitch I pull at least a few inches of top and bottom thread out the back. I use my left hand to hold those threads down while I forward stitch two or three times and while I stitch back to the start. At this point the beginning thread has been secured and I can let go. If it’s happening at the end of your stitch I’m not sure, that’s never happened to me. Thanks for watching, Good luck!
@@NorfolkHandmade I think I figured it out thanks! I found a Sailrite video that explained what I was doing wrong. Thank you so much for your reply. You do amazing work. Btw, where can I find those cool rivets?
That's great! They have some good videos on using and maintaining the machine. They are double capped rivets from Buckleguy. Thank you for watching. 🙏🏻
Nicely made.
I originally assumed that this was in Norfolk, East Anglia.
I get that a lot, didn’t realize so many Norfolks existed….lol

A very well built, sturdy tool roll
Thanks Scott!
Hello, would you mind sharing where you get your canvas from? Great video!
Thanks for watching. I get mine from a local fabric supplier in Toronto. But you can try BigDuckCanvas, they ship everywhere.
Thanks for watching! If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask here or message me directly.
Cheers
Justin
Fantastic. Where can we buy?
I have a few left on my Etsy store: search JustinStarrStudio and you’ll find my shop.
