- Watch me Rip-Off Jimmy DiResta's Wrench Storage Roll Up. I use a scrap of an old military hammock. This is a great way to store your wrenches. It can be rolled up or hung up for easy access whenever you need a wrench.

Hi My name is Tiffany I watch your video on a singer industrial machine 211A567AA and I enjoyed it I have a singer 211A967KB I wanted to know are they the same or does one do more than the other I an new to the sewing scene and I was giving this machine. Any help is appreciated.
Very cool take on this. It would have been neat to use the fabric with the eyes as the bag part. Then you could run a piece of rope as a draw string to help keep it closed.

I am lucky to have lot's of scrap leather. I made these from ones I saw 60 yrs ago at my fathers shop. Mine differ in that the top can flap down over the wrenches and to protect them and after it's rolled up a tie strap that's intergrated on the under side will secure the bundle of protected wrenches. Easier to get a wrench and to close up the bundle.

I agree and I love to use the borrowed patina of previously used materials.
My son bought me a previously owned Juki DU-1181n for Christmas, and this was one of the first things I made on it from an old painting drop cloth. It made a holy mess of the machine with all the paint that flaked off while working the cloth. Turned into paint powder! Took two hours to clean the machine and change the oil!😱😱😂😂😂 Yep...another learning experience in the books. I enjoy your videos. Found you from Jason of all trades.

Real men sew! And Jimmy was a thief before you stole this. My mother made one of these for my father back in the 50’s on her old White machine...she got the idea from her friend who lived in a farm. My oldest brother now has it and it’s still in good shape.

That's a wrench roll that will last! Not the bs nylon ones that blow out after a year. I'm just not sure if I want my standard and metric wrenches in the same roll though.

How do you store you spools of thread? Also do you ever use thread nets to keep the threads from pooling? Thank you, your videos are amazing and mezmerizing
I store my thread in tubs or on dedicated thread shelves. I don't have any nets but I like the idea.
Good repurposing of material . I scavenge the roadsides for straps to repurpose in numerous projects .

This video gives me other ideas for uses of used canvas or tarp-material to make other tool-organizing rolls, sacks, or units. Thanks for this demonstration for organizing wrenches, once and for all. If your logo comes on a cotton or canvas material, that would be a great way to finish off your projects for commercial sale on the Internet. Maybe each wrench organizer takes too much times to make for you to sell them profitably, but I’m quite sure they’d sell well with your « Alexander Dyer » red & black logo.
By the way, what type of material is your logo printed on? I imagine it’s on some type of heavy duty, tear free fabric, but I cannot see what - could you tell me?
Putting your unique, clean-looking logo on anything you make to sell or give to people would be an excellent idea, just in case you are not doing this already.

Yes, that is a very good idea and I am afraid procrastination has got the best of me in that regard. I am sure they could be purchased but I keep holding out. I have been shopping for 15 needle embroidery machines on the used market. I have been close on a couple but they hold their value very well. I probably should just order some patches.

Good video! I am curious, when you sewed the individual wrench lines, you flipped the material forward and backwards to do a second row. Why not go forward, then run the machine backwards with the material staying in the same orientation?
More than one way to skin a cat I guess. I encourage you to try your idea and let us know how it goes.

What kind of spray glue are you using? Does it ever gum up your needle?
That is spray adhesive. amzn.to/2QgSan5 It doesn't gum up my needle but perhaps if you did it all day everyday it might be an issue. It dries and sticks to itself and not very strong but just enough to hold till you sew it.
Hey Alex, what size thread and needle did you end up using? And the feet look custom, the stock ones i sell are much wider
The needle is probably a 20 or 21 and the thread is tex 105 poly wrapped poly.
